I am doinhg well and have lost over ten pounds but was back to day one on clears, cloudy, mushies, soft, etc..... It is a head thing with me. Yes and No. If the incident is investigated and ruled a manifestation of his disability ....then no. But there are exceptions I believe ....such as bringing a gun or knife....I would have to look it up ..

Our ENT and Anesthesiologist (SP?) did say it was okay to give Orapred -

just be clear with them on Monday that you did give it, when, and how

much.

We'll be praying for you tomorrow.

I had another epidural today, at T1, T2 for lower neck and right

shoulder pain. Anybody else here feel lousy for a few days after epidurals?

Headachey, little nauseous, restless? Any ideas to feel more comfortable?

hi, sorry for this late entry. anyway, last year, my husband just dropped all of

his prescribed drugs and went natural all the way...

he is doing fine but of course he had to change his diet and lifestyle... it

helped a lot. In the Philippines we are lucky to be rich in plants and herbs

that can help all kinds of ailments. VCO is still his main supplement though.

Have you thought about sports bras? They are much softer...more like a tank

and with the wider straps and no hooks, may not bother them so much. They

have some with more support and some with minimal depending on where you

shop. (I have some sensory issues and I am known to take my bra off in the

car without taking my shirt off when it gets really bad!lol)

I have a friend who recently had to insist on the special education bus. Her

child wanted to get naked (sensory with bra) and so the regular bus was off

limits until they get things straightened out.

Oh I had to laugh at this one. I could so be my Alyssa. I'm having the

hardest time to get her to wear a bra. It's always, " It's touching me! " or

she'll pull her pants up to under her arms to cover the part of her stomach

that isn't covered by the bra. I discovered that she stuffed about 5-6 bras

under her dresser when I thought she was doing so well with wearing them.

We're still working on it, but she seems to be doing better. Sue & Alyssa-MI

Oh, this is not good... I was hoping that the introduction to a bra was

just a temporary issue :-) We have an assortment of styles of choose

from.... big sis hand-me-downs, sports bras, pink bras (fav color).....

is resisting big time! So far I've had some success with

basic camisole-type undershirts (meaning she will leave them on if she

actually puts one on in the morning, but she frequently " forgets " with a

smile on her face... " Oh, sorry mom, I forgot "

And, I can see that this would be a time to be a tad less verbal.... she

will explain to anyone she feels like telling (apparently the aide and

SLP almost peed their pants trying not to laugh when she gave her

" speech " to them) about how she " really doesn't need to wear a bra

because her nipples don't really show, and although she's growning up,

she doesn't think that she needs to wear a bra, but mom wants her to at

least wear a camisole so that her nipples don't stick out, WHICH THEY

DON'T! SEE? "

Of course, we've talked about how we don't talk about private things

with so and so, etc., but when feels like chatting about

something that's on her mind, all training and good sense goes out the

window :-) It will be a long process here!

Jackie - enjoy the agreeable Landon for as long as it lasts! Dani is

also a very happy child, but she has a VERY strong stubborn streak. The

T & A did not resolve that at all. She does, however, sleep much more

soundly and even wants to take naps some now -- never before.

We noticed she was clingy after the surgery and more serene, but she is

a typical, happy, healthy three year-old now. I have requested a new

set of " listening ears " from the ENT, but he said all he could do is

replace one of her faulty tubes and that is diagnosis on the listening

issues was " being 3 years old " .

Hopefully Landon will remain quite healthy throughout the fall. Other

than Dani's ear issues - she's fairly healthy and never seems to really

run a fever.
