Guest guest
The only medication I was ever on was valium and that was over twenty five years ago. THE REAL AA is actually a lot more sinister than even anti-AA's would dare imagine. AA is run by very different people than is imagined by most people. I've only hinted at some of the stuff I've found out in my investigation, and I'm a professional investigator. See " GSO WATCH " website for a few more hints. GSO men spending hundreds of thousands on prostitutes.... Oh, it couldn't be! Your dollar bills in action!
Guest guest
Whenever they say " spiritual " not " religious " at meetings I YELL OUT " WHAT'S THE DIFFERENCE " . Guest guest
As is well known, thousands of AA's go out and binge drink once they find out that they are " powerless " . They kill at least ten thousand people a year in drunk driving accidents. I saw one study that showed that over seventy percent of drunk drivers who kill people in accidents have attended AA. They killed no one before they attended AA. AA kills! AA kills more drunks than it saves, if it truly saves any at all. I have had AA members threaten my life....these people are passive aggressive and will first try to get you to drink yourself to death by spreading untrue malicious gossip rumors around the program so that you are scared to go to meetings. I have had several old time sponsors tell me " this gossip kills people " . Many of these people have screwed their lives up beyond repair with multiple felony convictions and have NOTHING TO LOSE by trying anything to drag down those they are jealous of! I don't know about any of you but here's my experience. I got sober in my home state of Florida, moved to Los Angeles and then to Austin. I have attended AA in all three states and have felt nauseated on many occasions at the people I was surrounded by a t the meeting. I simply refuse to mix with them anymore. People judge you by the friends you keep. I have friends who have recently moved here to Austin from LA and they tell me AA in LA is almost all convicts on parole at the meetings. It's only about half felons here in Austin but degenerating. IN short, we are not yet ready to reveal all on AA, but I can tell you this. I have been a documentary filmmaker for over thirty years and my filmcrew is working on EXPOSING AA CORRUPTION as I type this. Cheers! Janice...I'm too old for you...be good! Guest guest
Netty...This a DVCAM shoot...may transfer to film but I doubt it. the digital quality is so good now it's no longer necessary. Even Lucas is going to video...HDCAM. DVCAM is near HDCAM. What we are doing is a video version of the book AA HORROR STORIES> People are so media A/V oriented today that we can reach a lot more people with video than abook will. Personally, I'm a bookworm with over two thousand books in my personal collection, but not everyone is that way. We have a lot of people here in Austin from England (as in LA) , and they werer actually the first to see through AA propaganda. IN England, the psychiatrist have long recommended that alcoholics STAY AWAY FROM AA! They pioneered ( Sargeant) Battle for the Mind Studies decades ago. What we are looking for is people willing to on camera with their AA horror story...This is a TIME WARNER AUSTIN ACCESS shoot. It will probably go worldwide. We have recently done a bunch of stuff with CHANNEL FOUR/BBC (Bohemian Grove expose''). Where are you?
Guest guest
Netty...The public access act was repealed three years ago. Most public access stations have shut down. However, some of the stations had a huge talent base so Time Warner poured millions into a few remaining stations buying us full digital (as in Sony DVCAM packages-they bought our station EIGHT DVCAMS) and a massive assortment of digital A/B editing equipment. Of course, thems that has, gets, so this has in turn attracted even more talent. (over 500 celebrities " hide out " here in Austin.) IN short, WE ARE SERIOUS AS A HEART ATTACK about this pic. The filmcrew members average twenty feature film shoots. If any of you are truly serious with verifiable horror stories about being in AA...well...we welcome you and ...there are more of us than you think. Suppose thats cheating. oh-well Salamanders are much nicer then gecko's. Those damn things bite and don't let go. I also had to always stop and get it crickets and baby mice, vicious little thing. Kids dumped it on me, finally got it sold. It was a interesting pet, but would much rather have salamandars. netty

At this one meeting I went to, the topic was Thirteenth Stepping since some of the newcomer women had been sexually exploited by the group's predator. I was shocked when a couple of the women in attendence actually thought that this behavior was acceptable and then bragged about being in a meeting with four or so men that they had previously slept with. And of course, they serenely said the Lord's Prayer at the close of the meeting. I would not have really cared about these " ladies " and their sexcapades yet they thought that much of the sleazy behavior towards newcomers by the male AAers was okay. > I am worth a great deal more than I show at AA meetings, and if these > women knew the truth they would be on me like white on rice. > I know this because one time I drove my mercedes 500 instead of > old vovlvo and four AA women asked me out....golddiggin backstabbers. Guest guest
ALLISON: THANK YOU FOR YOUR REPLY. THERE ARE DOZENS OF DIFFERENT TYPES OF CHURCHES. NOT ALL ARE FUNDAMENTALIST CHRISTIAN WHICH IS WHERE MOST PEOPLE IN RECOVERY GET IN TROUBLE. FUNDAMENTALISM IS THE PROBLEM. I WAS SOBER TEN YEARS IN A MAIN LINE PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH WHERE THE BIBLE WAS VIEWED NON-LITERALLY AND USED AS A GUIDE FOR ETHICAL LIVING.[sIC] MY " SPONSOR " THERE WAS THE SOUTHEASTERN VP OF AMERICAN EXPRESS AT THE TIME. RESEARCH HAS SHOWN THAT AA IS MOSTLY LOWER MIDDLE CLASS AND UPPER MIDDLE CLASS AND ABOVE AND LOWER CLASS PEOPLE DO IT THE CHURCH WAY OR ON THEIR OWN. IN OTHER WORDS, ITS NO SURPRISE THAT AA ONLY GETS ABOUT ONE-FIFTH OF THE PROSPECTS FOR ALCOHOLISM TREATMENT. Even church ministers are skeptical of a program that forces others under legal intimidation to accept their version of the truth. I have had a number of ministers tell me that " AA's are a bunch of demons " . There is still a secret place in me that thinks this could be true. CHEERS! AA/NAers look down on people who go to church to help with addiction issues rather than use the " program " . One part of the NA readings has this line about how some people left the " program " under a religious zeal only to return again with worse problems. Church groups do tend to have a better success rate with alcoholism/addiction than AA or NA. A woman I knew from the " program " left after she got involved with her religion. That eight years ago and the woman has not relapsed. I remember when I was new in the " rooms " how a man mentioned that he could not wait for the court-mandated meetings to be overwith since he was involved with his faith and did a lot of work for the church which helped him to overcome his drug problem. He also had church responsibilities that he was proud of. Of course, a long-time stepper told him that condescending, " The church will save only your soul but WE will save your ass. " Good Lord, no wonder so many people get drunk or high again. I do understand that church or any other type of worship facility is not for all people. http://clubs.yahoo.com/clubs/aaornatwelvestepcults

Hi , I dont know if Chaz Bufe s still on this list but I remember him saying he had done some research that showed that church groups were doing better with alcohlics than AA right back in the 1940s. It makes sense to me. If you have the same cultural background as the church group you go to, you will feel more " at home " and you will be able to relate to the other ppl more. AA's " ACME " supposed one size fits all religion just doesnt compare. P.
