If you are trying to raise the T3 why don't you do it with 2,5mcg and see what

happeneds. I know by myself in the begining 2.5mcg T3 was a big amount.Just my 2

cents here.

We have only one type of T3 here in Europe, and it's Liothyronine 20 mcg. Which

means.... A half tablet is 10 mcg. It's made to split it two.

However, splitting it in four, is hard. Not impossible, but the small

itty bitty pieces mostly end up in a 4/6 split. One piece is 4 mcg,

the other one is 6 mcg. Soemtimes the split is even worse. So....

I just cannot take anything less than 1/4'th of a pill. Which is

around 5 mcg.

I am not entirely convinces this tightness in my heart appears

from T3. Cause I felt this horrible feeling earlier this year when

I was on T4 only. And last year when on T4 only as well. A few times.

Now it's back. And more often than before.

Well. I will increase my HC tomorrow. Do you guys'n girls recon

a raise from 25 to 30 is ok? Or should I raise with 2.5 mg only, to

27.5 mg HC?

Thanks!

I wonder how it works with HC and tolerating T3 -

Is it base don a daily basis, like, if I take 10 mg HC at 09.30,

then I will be fine taking my 5 mcg of T3 at 10? Or doesn't it matter

at all, like I can take my T3 first and then HC 30 minutes later?

How fast do they work up on each other?

Hope you understand what I mean.. :P

Do you think an increase to 75 mg iron daily is ok? Before I later

increase the total to 100? I was thinking of taking 25 mg extra

tomorrow morning. Not sure how or when I will do that though,

considering the T3 and not to take that too close to the iron..

Pressure is a bit better. Just took 5 mcg T3, my third dose today.

Let's see if the pressure returns in a few minutes!

Well I can tell you this.. After 15 minutes since I took my third

5 mcg T3 dose just now, I feel more pressure/tightness on my chest.

Nothing extreme yet, but something. I have no idea what that means.

Hay, could be psychological for all I know!

One thing I've noticed since upping HC to 25, and switchinc to T3-only

is that I've become much more sleepy in the evenings. I used to love

the evenings. I don't have any evenings these days. From 7-8 pm,

all I can think about is going to bed. Ok, so it's a good change to go

to bed at midnight instead of 4-5 in the morning. That stuff is not

healthy in the long run.

Looking forward to increase my HC dose. I have no idea how much I need.

I have nothing to guide me. Except relief of my symptoms - Which I hope

will happen when I increase HC.

When does T3 spike? It's now been 50 minutes since I took it and I

feel more intense pressure/tightness now... So I guess it's T3 doing

this to me. Well, it could be. According to my symptoms and when they

appear compared to when I take my T3.

Is this dangerous? What I'm doing?

What if a non-hypothyroid took T3 like this. Would that be safe?

What if I really don't have Hypothyroidism anymore?

This is what I've done so far today:

17:00 - 37.0/98.6F (pulse: 76)

18:20 - 37.0/98.6F (pulse: 68)

21:05 - 37.0/98.6F (pulse: 72) pressure on my chest after taking T3 at 7:30 pm,

and the pressure is still with me at 9:10 pm

HC: 25 mg daily

T3: 15 mcg daily

Iron: 50 mg daily

Sea salt: 1/2 to 1 teaspoon daily

+ all the other " AF " vitamins and minerals (C, E, B etc.)

from what Val has said if I remember corectly T3 spikes in a hour but I 'm not

sure. Also only Val or Nick should be able to tell you based on your thyroid

tests if you are hypo.Diden't you post your test yet, that is what they alway ask

in the begining. And from what I know is very important to kknow if you have

RT3.Sorry I can't help more.

Thanks Milena.

I am Hypothyroid Type 2. My tests were fine before I started with

T4 treatment in 1997. But I was not fine. I was HUGE and very sick.

With T4, I was given a new lease on life. But here I am today.

With more problems than ever...

I did my thyroid panel 1 month ago. Time to do it again.

I still have pressure on my chest, 3 hours after I took my

last 5 mcg T3.

Speaking of temperatures... It's just past midnight, and I took my last

2.5 mg HC dose at 9 pm, and my last 5 mcg T3 dose at 7:30 pm.

Right now, my temperature is: 36.4/97.5F

This is what my temp is like when I wake up. Is it normal that the

temp dips like this around midnight, when you go to bed?

I still have pressure on my chest . . .

One new experience while on HC:

After waking up at 9:30 this morning, and, *coughs* having sex BEFORE

taking any T3 or HC... I felt like... Complete garbage after this...

Like the body got all heavy and slow and just.. NOT good.. Took my T3

and HC, one hour late, and things got a little better. But I still

feel horrible.

It's SO depressing that we can't live like normal people. We are

addicted to our tablets. Without them, we are nothing.

So, what it felt like after this, was something I remember from before

starting to take HC this June. The incredibly heavy feeling in the

whole body. (Low Cortisol?)

Depression.

It's 2:15 and the pressure is WICKED now... :(

I took my 5 mcg of T3 at 11 am. So why am I getting this pressure now,

3 hours later? Well, it has been building up ever since I took the

T3. So I am guessing T3 has something to do with this.

What if I can't tolerante T3? Than I have nothing else to do but to

quit all thyroid meds. Then what...

I still have problems figuring out when to take my first doses of

iron to not interfere with the T3-med!
