I have never heard of this and thought I would share it with you all. Donna: Feel free to share this with anyone! You can read specifics on my family's website: www.holmesmania.com. Guinea pigs and other rodents (hamsters, etc.) carry Lymphocytic Choriomeningitis (LCMV), which is a virus that is AIRBORNE. Some farm animals (pigs) and zoo animals (monkeys) also carry it. Unlike Toxoplasmosis, you do not have to come into direct contact with the feces of the animal for this to happen. Simply walk into a pet store to buy dog food, and potentially you could walk out miscarrying within a few weeks and not know why. This happened in the second trimester of my pregnancy. I did not find out anything was wrong until the day after my due date, however, I complained of piercing migraines and horrible nausea unlike the usual morning sickness in my 3rd trimester. The Ob-Gyn chalked it up to pregnancy and hormones. Yet the day after my due date, they told me something went horribly wrong, and my son would most likely not live for one day. He had five times too much fluid on his brain. A few months later, the docs swore it was Cytomegalovirus or Toxoplasmosis, but I knew better. I was careful about being around sick kids while pregnant, and I don't particularly care for cats (I'm more of a " dog " person!), and I knew of these two conditions. I then started my internet search to find a sickness that mimicked the two, and found it (LCMV!), asked for the test, and it was positive! Then I sent the guinea pig to the state and begged them to test it. Because of Jimmy, many children who were intially not given a diagnosis (after TORCH tests ruled-out the usual infectious causes), yet had calcifications on the brain (a telltale sign that an infection caused the disability), are being tested for LCMV. I have now met several kids who have been newly diagnosed. They have varying degrees of disabilities. Studies are being done on possible vaccines; Jimmy's medical information is being used in this study. Info on this virus has been published in the Pediatric and Gynocology Medical Journals, and I am awaiting a list of all Ob-Gyns and Pediatricians in the country from the CDC so that I can send them the info myself, after personally requesting the list when the CDC told me that they do not have the " time, energy, or funding " to circulate brochures about LCMV! I was offered the cover of TIME and PARENT magazines to get the word out, but at too large of a cost....they both expected me to put my daughter and son on the cover, with my daughter holding a guinea pig (my daughter felt guilty enough when she heard that her chosen birthday gift was the cause, and I refused to put her through that). They said they would not do the story without the photo because it would give the story a " personalized touch " , which is what sells maazines. I told PARENT that I felt they had a moral responsibility to do an information article on the topic now that they knew about it, even without the photo, but they refused. I, of course, stopped my subscription of 8 years!!!! The rest is history. Jimmy's 2 and 1/2 and is doing well in spite of all of the setbacks along the way. I've learned to second-guess doctors and " go with my gut " . So far, so good! Please see my website, though, to see Jimmy's pages. There are pics and updates. Oh, one more thing: the LCMV testing can be done years later (it's called an ELISA blood test). -Sue Ellen:)

I heard about Dr. Schulze for the first time about 7 years ago. I wasn't aware he was selling products and healing info until about October of last year. Since then I have been trying to find a way to deal with costs of such an incurables program. At this point our expenses have eased slightly, and I decided to take the plunge. $318.00 for the herbs (on sale), and at least another couple hundred dollars for the foods, and other herbs and materials. On our very tight budget this means we pay the power bill, phone bill, propane bill, buy food, and do nothing else. Oh yah, we did by T.P. and dish soap, Anyway, I have never done this before, and I am looking for someone who has. I know it has worked for many. I have read about a few that Schulze discusses in a book he put out with Sam Biser. I guess what I am looking for is a real breathing person that can say, yah I did this, or my friend did this, or my family member did this, and this is how it went, and they included this, and they learned that, and they add this part that really helped them. I am going to do this soon anyway, even if I don't find a kindred spirit in it. I have 50 pounds of carrots sitting on my kitchen floor, next to 25 pounds of apples. On the counter I have garlic, and ginger, in the fridge lemons and limes, and olive oil. I have castor oil and mustard seed comming through the mail, along with raw organic vinegar. I am just about set up. I just wish I could find someone who could say, " Yes, this is what I did, and it worked for me " . ym7

Best, Katharina ---------------------copy Katharina, Welding also causes inhalation of iron fumes, and it would be interesting to know whether CNO (i. e. coconut oil) has some protective effect. The fats that get oxidized easily at body temp such as fish oils will certainly get oxidized (=rancid) more easily in the presence of too much iron whereas CNO will not be affected. I guess it must be quite protective. Professor Weinberg of Indiana University at Bloomington Indiana warns: Table 4. Conditions that can compromise iron withholding ------------------------------------------------------- I. Excessive intake of iron through intestinal absorption A) Behavioral and nutritional factors A1 Accidental ingestion of iron tablets A2 Adulteration of processed foods with inorganic iron or blood A3 Excessive consumption of red meats (heme iron) A4 Excessive intake of alcohol (HCl secretion enhanced) A5 Folic acid deficiency A6 Ingestion of ascorbic acid with inorganic iron A7 Use of iron cookware Genetic and physiological factors      ... II. Parenteral iron      ... III. Inhaled iron ...Exposure to amosite, crocidolite, or tremolite asbestos ...Exposure to urban air particulates ...Mining iron ore, welding, grinding steel ...Painting with iron oxide powder ...Tobacco smoking (1-2 mcg iron inhaled per cigarette pack) And he suggests Reduction of excessive inhalation of iron Eliminate use of tobacco Use iron-free chrysotile in place of iron-loaded amosite, crocidolite, tremolite varieties of asbestos Use mask to avoid inhalation of urban air particulates Use mask and protective clothing when mining or cutting ferriferous substances Excess iron is the 4th metal that will drive up BP, and quite so. Trees and churches are being decorated with these purple ribbons. The purple ribbons represent the return of Jesus in the clouds and not on land! The second advent of Christ will be the most wonderful event the world has ever experienced. Light a Jesus candle at dusk and place the candle on top of a mountain where the wind wont blow it out, and leave the candle lit until it burns out. The lit Jesus candle warns about false prophets and represent Jesus' horrible death and glorious return. Purple is a color of serenity, joy, happiness, protection, pride, harmony and freedom, and it brings merriness wherever it may be. Purple ribbons would be wonderful for fighting stress and disease. I am so glad to see this. With my own genetic profile, this water issue is horrendous. With the hemachromatosis gene making it tough to get rid of the heavy metals such as lead, arsenic, mercury and the MTHFR gene making it difficult to produce enough glutathione to get rid of the toxins even in a best case scenario, we have had to live the spartan life of distilled water, as much organic vegetables as possible and all organic meats. I didn't live this spartan lifestyle while pregnant with my two kids with autism and I did live this spartan while pregnant with my other four normal children. I think it affects everyone, just some of us are canaries in a coal mine. Dietary Therapy Two types of diets were discussed at the meeting: the ketogenic diet and the Atkins diet. The ketogenic diet has never been a popular treatment, for adults in particular. The Atkins diet is a less stringent type of ketogenic diet, and the hypothesis tested was that it could be as effective as the less palatable traditional ketogenic diet.
