IAHF Webmaster: Breaking News, Whats New, What to Do, Codex, All Countries

IAHF List:

Germany became the host country of the Codex Alimentarius Commission's

Committee on Nutrition and Foods for Special Dietary Uses when Helmut Kohl was

Chancellor in 1965.

It is noteworthy that Kohl's first job was as a lobbyist for BASF, and that

he was put into power by electoral votes controlled by Germany's pharmaceutical

industry.

Bayer, BASF, Hoechst, Shering and others made Germany the world's largest

pharmaceutical exporter, and they became host country of the UN's Codex

Commission's Committee on Nutrition out of a long range desire to crush the

dietary

supplement industry in order to insure that things STAY THAT WAY.

SO: WHO THE HELL EXACTLY IS ROLF GROSSKLAUS (?????)

All I know about Ralf Grossklaus is that he's a bureaucrat at the German

Bgvv, and he is Chair of the Codex Committee on Nutrition. I've witnessed him in

action, and he forced me to shut my camcorder down at the meeting in Berlin in

'98 (see the videofootage where Grossklaus stopped the entire meeting and

forced me to stop taping at http://www.iahf.com in the media section)

His pal, Bgvv press officer Jurgen Kundke permanently banned me from

participating in any future Codex Meetings despite my valid press credentials,

and I

was thrown off the US Codex Delegation due to the videotaping I did at the '98

Codex meeting and from being a whistleblower against Dr.Yetley's illegal

actions at Codex meetings in an effort to get Congressional Oversight. (Hearing

was

whitewashed on March 20, 2001 to set the USA up to lose in a future WTO trade

dispute)

Many of us have observed Grossklaus acting more like a Judge than a Moderator

as chair of these Codex meetings, always looking to advance the Cartel's

agenda by how he runs these meetings. He stops discussion when it suits the

wishes

of his Cartel masters, blocks people from speaking when it suits him, and has

the final meeting report written in such a way that it never reflects what

actually took place in the meeting.

HELP NEEDED FROM SOMEONE WHO SPEAKS GERMAN TO PUT THIS JERK UNDER A

MAGNIFYING GLASS TO DIG UP EVERYTHING ON HIM SO WE CAN FOLLOW THE MONEY TRAIL

Note: Grossklaus spoke at his symposium sponsored by Bayern Innovativ- See

http://www.lifescience-bavaria.de/portal/loader.php and url below, note

numerous speakers from drug companies including Bayer, Roche

Complete list of Codex Delegates is at

ftp://ftp.fao.org/codex/alinorm04/al04_26e.pdf pp 20-40 (We need to research

all of them, help requested.....

See Rath's speech at

http://www.gorgesphoto.org/Allegany%20county%20greens/Pharmacuticals/article.htm

Dr.Rath makes noteworthy observation that Germany became host country for

Codex Committee on Nutrition in 1995 when Helmut Kohl was Chancellor, and he

notes that Kohl got his start as a lobbyist for BASF. He notes that Kohl was put

into power by electoral votes controled by Pharma. He notes that it doesn't

matter which political party is in power in Germany, the outcome of any election

is determined by Pharma.

So, aside from our knowing that Grossklaus was installed to his position by

Pharma, and that he's a bureaucrat in the Bgvv, what exactly is his background?

Was he a university professor? Where?

Did he have pharmaceutical research grants? What were they?

We need to find out everything we can about him and about him and about all

the other Codex delegates now that we have nailed Dr.Schneeman who was just

hired by FDA to run their office of dietary supplements at CFSAN, (and to be

Yetley's assistant as Codex Delegate now that has gone to work

at

WHO, which administers Codex.)

Schneeman had a research grant from ILSI totalling nearly $40,000 while at UC

prior to going to FDA, and ILSI's membership reads like a who's who of

the multinational pharmaceutical companies. She was hired by FDA right after

chairing the NAS committee that falsely defined supplement safety via the 400

page book FDA commissioned titled " Dietary Supplements: A Framework to Evaluate

Safety " This sets us up to lose in a WTO trade dispute.

MJH,

I ordered some of those books from the library and as soon as I get them,

I will read them.

Other than her AED for the seizures, I give her a multivitamin, B-50,

Fish oil, Magnesium, B6, Vit. C, Vit. E. I plan on getting a coffee

grinder and grind some Flax seed to put it in her buttermilk and her diet

is alright most days, but some days it's not that great because she loves

french toast and that's all she wants me to make for dinner so I make it

twice a week but I give her vegetable or fruit juice to make sure that

she gets her fruits and vegetables. Except for bananas, she will not eat

any fruit at all so I give her that juicy juice since it's 100% fruit

juice. She eats vegetables pretty good so I try to give her them every

day and if I don't, I give her the V8 juice. We're in the process of

having her allergy tested to see if she has any allergies. I feel I

should be doing more, but I don't know what else to do. Thanks MJH.

Hello Everyone,

I have spoken to my neuro because had another Tonic/Clonic on

Monday morning and a couple of partials after that and since Zonegran

doesn't seem to be working for her because when we increased it she had

many unwanted side effects such as: making up stories, poor

concentration, trouble speaking, mood changes and spaced out often.

Anyway, we reduced it about a week ago and a week later she had those

seizures so I spoke to the neuro about trying Lamictal and I would like

to know the following:

1. What type of seizures do you or your love one have?

2. What dose did you start at?

3. How long have you been taking it?

4. What side effects, if any, have you had with it?

5. Has it controlled your seizures?

6. Do you take it as monotherapy, if not what else are you taking?

7. If you are no longer taking it, what was the reason for stopping it?

If you have any comments or suggestions that you feel might be useful in

helping make my decision, I would truly appreciate it. I will be seeing

the neuro on June 2nd unless has more tonic clonics before then.

Thank you all in advance for your help in helping me make the right

decision.

Grace

Reuters Health picked up a story that I think was instigated by our news

release. Usually Reuters Health stories get wide distribution on the internet.

While there is stuff in the report that we would rather not read in a news

story,

I like the title (which is all some people read) the Reuters Health reporter

interviewed one of the researchers who is quoted as saying " Very young infants

are unlikely to benefit from the caries-prevention effects of fluoride, "

Marshall told Reuters Health. " They may be at increased risk of dental

fluorosis. "

Too much fluoride may harm babies' teeth

Last Updated: 2004-05-05 13:39:04 -0400 (Reuters Health)

By Merritt McKinney

NEW YORK (Reuters Health) - Fluoride in water has helped prevent millions of

cavities, but the results of a new study suggest that infants who drink large

amounts of beverages that contain fluoride may be at risk for discoloration of

their primary teeth.

In particular, infants who drank the most water-based beverages, particularly

infant formulas made with water, were more likely to develop a condition

called dental fluorosis when they were older.

But for most children, the level of fluoride in the water supply is unlikely

to make them susceptible to fluorosis, the study's lead author emphasized.

Levels of dental cavities, or caries, have plummeted as a result of the

fluoridation of water systems and the widespread availability of fluoridated

toothpaste.

But as is the case with any nutrient, " some is good, but more is not

necessarily better, " according to Dr. A. Marshall of the University of

Iowa

College of Dentistry in Iowa City.

Exposure to too much fluoride of the nutrient during tooth development may

change the structure of tooth enamel. These changes can lead to fluorosis, which

is marked by tooth discoloration. Most cases are mild, but the condition is a

signal that someone might have consumed too much fluoride when their teeth

were forming.

Marshall and her colleagues set out to see if infants' drinking patterns

influence their risk of fluorosis. They were particularly interested in looking

at

consumption of infant formulas.

During the 1970s, formula manufacturers reduced the amount of fluoride in

their products, but some formulas must be mixed with water, which often contains

fluoride.

Marshall and her colleagues followed 677 children from 6 weeks of age until a

dental check-up when they were at least 4 years old. Parents periodically

filled out detailed questions about their children's diet.

Compared to children who did not develop fluorosis, children who developed

the condition consumed more water-constituted formula during infancy, the study

found. They also drank more beverages overall, including water and fruit

juice.

The results were published in the April issue of the Journal of the American

College of Nutrition.

" Very young infants are unlikely to benefit from the caries-prevention

effects of fluoride, " Marshall told Reuters Health. " They may be at increased

risk

of dental fluorosis. "

But most parents do not need to be overly concerned, according to Marshall.

Based on fluoride levels typical of public water systems in the U.S., young

children who drink a normal amount of water are unlikely to consume enough

fluoride to develop fluorosis, she said.

But an infant who consumes fluoride from other sources, such as some soy or

liquid concentrate formulas, may have an increased risk of dental fluorosis,

according to the Iowa researcher. She added that a child who is a " big eater "

could also be at increased risk.

Hi everyone,

Has anyone had any success with melatonin?

I am thinking about asking the neuro about it. But before I do, tell me what

you all know about mixing it with Depakote and Zonegran.

Thanks,

MJH,

Do you make fresh juice daily for Charlie and where do you get the

veggies from? Here in Lakeland we have some fruit and vegetable stands

and I'm thinking about getting if from there, do you think that's a good

idea. I am worried about pesticides. I don't want to go from the

bottled juices I currently give her to homemade juices full of

pesticides, if you know what I mean. The fruit juices I give her are

natural such as Mott's 100% apple juice, Juicy Juice 100% fruit Juice and

Orange Juice all without sugar and then I also give her that Low socium

V8 Vegetable Juice. I thought this was good and I know that it is a lot

easier than having to make your own. Also, I know that she will drink

these, but I'm willing to make my own as long as I can find pesticide

free vegetables, but how can you tell?

Grace

>>>> Grace

Fruit is full of natural sugars and fruit juices contain even more of these

natural sugars than the whole fruit. Too much sugar (of any kind) is not good

for people with brain issues or diabetes, etc.

We grow a lot of our own veggies and get the rest from the supermarket. I do

not worry too much about the pesticides and I do wash the veggies well. The

local fruit and veggies stands will have fresher produce, most likely and you

can ask the growers if they use pesticides and herbicides to grow their

veggies or if they grow organically.

When juicing, we use the WHOLE thing...... as most of the enzymes are just

below the skin. There are many good books on juicing and two came with our

Juiceman II Pro juicer with a 1/2 hp motor We've had ours for about ten years

now.

shop around and check ebay.com also.

The store bought fruit and veggie juices you list above are not made from

organic fruits and veggies unless the labels specifically say so. And, they are

heated during processing and packaging which destroys lots of vitamins and

enzymes.

Hello,

I don't often post on this list but am looking for some information.

I have an 18yr old daugher who is being treated by a DAN! doctor. In

the past she was given an EEG looking for seizures but no seizure/per

se were found. This EEG was supposed to have been a sleep EEG but

she could not sleep so the EEG was stopped. She used to have staring

eposiodes but most of these have stopped since bio-med treatments.

Due to some problems lately surrounding her menstral cycles, it was

mentioned that she may be having catamenial seizures. I am wondering

if anyone could give me some information on this, how it is dx'd and

treatments which may have worked.

Thanks,

Michele

them.

1. Has anyone ever had two kids with absence

epilepsy? My 2nd son almost 7, I've noticed split

second seizures and teachers complain of being

distracted.

2, My oldest son started having seizures around age 5,

at first they were very short, then 3-5 sec, now 10-15

sec. He is 7.5 yrs old has anyone seen this pattern?

if so what happened and did they go away at puberty?

Epilepsy run in my husband's family but(grad mal

seizures(father 1 seizure as a teenager and his son

takes meds4 grand mal seizures.)

3.How much flax seed oil is suggested for my 7 year

old he is 52 lbs, currently he takes cromega orange

paste which is equal to 650 mgs. Is this enough to

help with his seizures?

thanks for your help
