well that totally eludes me. however I know that truly smart ppl can learn

from everyone. they see value where others don't, so I am sure Einstein would

be intrigued by Homer Simpson.

oh really?..I wouldn't normally be this worried but the doctor that diagnosed me

with Glaucoma said I have already lost 70% of my Optic Nerve...thatz why I am

concerned about the eye pain.

I did post my salivary test results a while ago, but here they are anywayz:

Estradiol

9

Male(20-49): 1 - 3 pg/ml

Male(50-85): 1 - 5 pg/ml

Progesterone

106

Male(adult): 5 - 95pg/ml

Free Testosterone

59

Male(20-30) : 60 - 110pg/ml

Cortisol (7 -8 AM)

15 Normal ( 13 - 24nM)

(11-noon)

3 Depressed (5 - 10 nM)

(4 -5)

3 Normal( 4 - 5 nM)

( 11 - Midn)

3 Normal (1 - 4 nM)

Cortisol Burden

24

23 - 42

DHEA

9 Normal(Adults(M/F) : 3 - 10 ng/ml)

fTSH

38 Normal

26 - 85 NIU/ML

fT4

0.20 Normal( 0.17 - 0.42 ng/dL)

fT3

0.49 Normal(0.28 - 1.10 pg/ml)

TPO

Negative

thanks a lot.

Those are classic hypoT symptoms. You are simply not getting nearly

enough Armour.

Proper dosing requires fine tuning. Until you get close to an optimum

dose, you will still feel so bad you may not be able to tell which way

is up. You also never told us what your test results indicated.

HI Deborah,

I wouldn't leave this group because of one person or even more than that. It is

Hi ,

I did understand the analogy...but the analogy was WRONG...I AM getting

appreciable benefits from it ...have more energy than I had before..I feel a

little less cold...and my joints feel ecstatic...but there are some undesirable

side effects too... like chest congestion & severe dry eyes (painful too)

....Armour also triggered a very bad cold the last time I had it..can't be a

coincidence really.

yes probably nothing in his post that was serious enough to...never mind...if he

had prefaced his comment with a " Welcome to our group! I understand! " .....I

would NOT have said a THING.... is just simple courtesy that you extend when you

talk to a new person.

Re: Armour and Glaucoma

If you hang around long enough to get to know Chuck even a little

bit

then you will find that he is about the last person in the world to give

any kind of " smart @$$ " thoughtless response. Not only is Chuck more of

the opposite temperament, he is our resident PhD scientist. We value

him highly here; even those who do not appreciate the scientific method

DO appreciate Chuck. I saw absolutely nothing in his post poking fun at

you.

In case you still haven't figured it out what Chuck was saying is that

the dose of Armour that you're taking is too small to have any

appreciable benefit.

ly, your resorting to calling someone a moron who was only trying

to help speaks extremely poorly of you. I hope the impression you have

managed to give is false; and that you were just having a bad day. For

most of us to call Chuck a moron would be a little like Homer Simpson

instructing Einstein on the differences between special and general

relativity.

I hope you don't leave the list and I hope you are feeling better and

getting your meds back on track. I highly doubt WS cares about Christmas.

Be well!

Hi Chuck, sorry that someone was not to nice to you , I feel like leaving

the List cause of all of this ,goshhhh can't ppl be decient to other's ,hey?

it's Christmas or Close too it , so weird scientist at least try to be

civil to other members and if you donot understand a post ask others to

explain it so you do understand what they are saying ,goshhh I dislike it

when ppl accuse and start being nasty too other list members or others so

my decision is either stay or leave I'm don't need this ,right now ,and

neither does anyone else

Deborah ( hi Gracia hope all is well with you ,messed up my meds a bit

Getting back on track ,I hope )

Hey Ashwin. Let's start getting over the intro already and move on so we

can help you get better health! You mentioned that there are undesirable

side effects, but Armour has no known side effects (unless you are taking

not enough or too much and then it would still be effects from low thyroid

not Armour). In your case it seems like your on not enough. You cannot get

a cold virus from taking Armour. Your immune system is weak just from

having low thyroid function. Try Primal Defense. I recently began

Antibiotic's " from www.lifenetmarketing.com The ingredients in this kept

me from having to go to the doctor. I usually wait out my illnesses,

however, this time I was getting progressively worse to the point where I

couldn't talk or laugh from the pain in my throat. I started on the

antibiotic " ( Vit A, Vit C, bioflavonoids, whole bovine desiccated thymus,

echinacea extract, bee propolis, garlic, and many many others) Wednesday

evening and now I can barely fell the knot in my throat. Woohoo!!!!!

-- Re: Re: Armour and Glaucoma

Hi ,

I did understand the analogy...but the analogy was WRONG...I AM getting

appreciable benefits from it ...have more energy than I had before..I feel a

little less cold...and my joints feel ecstatic...but there are some

undesirable side effects too... like chest congestion & severe dry eyes

(painful too) ...Armour also triggered a very bad cold the last time I had

it..can't be a coincidence really.

yes probably nothing in his post that was serious enough to...never mind..

if he had prefaced his comment with a " Welcome to our group! I understand! " .

....I would NOT have said a THING.... is just simple courtesy that you extend

when you talk to a new person.

Re: Armour and Glaucoma

If you hang around long enough to get to know Chuck even a little bit

then you will find that he is about the last person in the world to give

any kind of " smart @$$ " thoughtless response.

For

most of us to call Chuck a moron would be a little like Homer Simpson

instructing Einstein on the differences between special and general

relativity.

I am on Primal Defense, and I absolutely love it. I take the powdered version

weird Scientist,

So, again, what in this prompted you to prescribe 1/2 grain of Armour?

well..I thought we were treating based on symptoms...not just based on the

labs...and Armour does do me a lotta good...for instance, me typing away like

this was an impossibility 2 weeks ago (which is when I started 1/2 grain)...

even my acidity seems to be neutralized for some reason..am ALWAYS acidic..and I

HAVE to eat on time...otherwise I start being Hypoglycemic...weak etc...but now

if I don't eat (which doesn't happen often) it doesn't seem to bother me all

that much...well..I have had this rash right below my adam's apple for a week

now as well...not sure if that has anything to do with it.

anywayz my point being i like the benefits of Armour...am just scared about itz

detriments( well just one really...itz effect on the eyes)

Whatever you are is irrelevant. How you behave with other adults that

are trying to help you is another matter. Whether you are a male or

female, and wish to be addressed as such, sign your name or a name

that indicates your gender, then there won't be any problem. In English

it is customary to refer to people by him until made otherwise aware.

You still don't seem to " get it. " People on this list are trying to help

you, which is what this list is for. If you want to be helped provide the

information that will allow this. If you don't understand something that

was posted. Ask. If you want to be treated civilly, so do we so behave

in a manner that you would like to receive.

Well, we're all individuals; and with often different reactions to the

same medications or other substances. Normally one would not expect to

have much reaction at all to the level of dosage you were reporting. I

know I sometimes have strange reactions to medications. I've had my

doctor tell me, " You CAN'T have that reaction; there's nothing there to

cause it " . Yet in fact I did have exactly the reaction described; and

repeatedly. He finally said that maybe I'm having a response to a

normally inert ingredient.

When someone here is " spaced out " I suspect it's seldom the medication

causing it; except possibly when the medication is too low or the wrong

type. Hypothyroidism is just one of a number of conditions we can have

that involve some kind of hormone difficulty. And hormone problems can

cause _many_ different kinds or reactions. Many of them interact, so it

can be really impossible sometimes to try to figure out exactly what is

going on.

Personally, Christmas is more of a PITA than anything else. But the

kids really love it...

I do believe Weird Scientist was referring to " HER " . as in why doesn't anyone

think Weird Scientist is a female?

Well, you never sound, in your posts, like you are MUCH older than us but you

are. OOPS

sorry! Didn't mean for my fingers to type that. :) You sound like a

whippersnapper

yourself. A very late happy birthday to you. In a few weeks we can be on time

for you!

Venizia

PS don't want to sound stupid but what does PITA stand for? I'm sure if I

thought about it I

would figure it out.
