Guest guest Posted October 7, 1999 Report Share Posted October 7, 1999 Hi!! My name is and i have been doing the Atkins diet since Tuesday. I have only lost 3 lbs and still no ketones Is this normal. I still have no ketones but am using bayer sticks and they say if excessive ketones are being thrown it may register negative. I am so confused. Also I am about to start my friend. I have lily ketostix, and they turn pink, then dark marroon. I ate pasta the other day, and i was out of ketosis for a day, but i lost another pound today. Sometimes the ketostix can really keep you motivated if the scales aren't moving (and believe me, mine moves like a snail.....)
