Mollie --

I once had a teacher tell me that " you can only do what you can do. " If 70%

is your limit right now, then you go! I think that's a whole lot better than

0%.

I know that I have to stop looking at the calendar as I'm looking at the

scale. Things take the time they take.

Take care. Have fun at that party this weekend!

Gail-

I'm hanging in there! I've been trying to ride my exercise bike

regularly... didnt know out of shape i really am! I can only ride for 8

minutes at a time. But i do that in 2 intervals.. and for 2 minutes

really hard tension!

I'm going to Chicago this weekend for my best friends bachelorette party

and really wanted to be down another size, but its not happening! Oh

well. I just seem to have a hard time sticking with it 100%! I can

give it 70%, but thats about it! I'll try to hang in!

Thanks for asking!

Atkins-A-Way of LIfe Gang...

Thanks for all the support. The last few days have been very helpful. If

anyone knows of a controlled list where I can just get and share information

about the Atkins Diet, please forward the address to me. I do not have time

to read and try to sort through over 50 emails a day. I wish I did.

Thanks again.

BodyFles is a deep breathing program that helps you to ose weight and inches,

especially inches. Last summer when I was doing this faithfully, I lost 2

dress sizes but no weight. The vidoe teaches the deep breathing technique in

combination with streches that you do while doing the breathing. I don't

think their is a website for BodyFlex, but onelist has a list group for it. A

similar breathing exercise is called Oxycize and they do have a website:

www.oxycize.com if you want to check it out.

I don't believe we have this option with our AOL e-mail program.

I personally like all the support of the group. Yes, it can be a lot of

mail, but in my opinion it makes it a friendlier list and I like " getting to

know " everyone.

If your on AOL all you have to do is highlight the address, copy by right

clicking on it and hit copy and then open new mail and right click in the

address area and click on paste.

I don't mean to cause waves here, but if it is too much mail for you, why

can't you just go to the onelist and change your preferences to digest? With

digest you only get 1 or 2 e-mails a day. then you can just scroll through

and your don much faster. I also like the chit-chatty emails I read from and

to everyone.

maybe a middle ground here might be for people who can choose to respond to

individuals to do so, and the rest continue to address the whole list...?

I also like the tone of the list, and i realize nothing is better for

motivation than support, but sometimes 10 emails in a row that basically say

" great! " is a little much. I didn't pick up my mail on sunday and there

were, gulp, like 200 emails by monday morning...

again, not to cause a flame attack, but all those " greats!!!! " ARE great to

the individual, but maybe not as great to everyone else....

I agree with Doree on this.

I have missed many many mails and things becouse there are so many one

liners and things that fly through, I just dont have time to keep up with it all

myself.

you can reply to the author but you have to click on their individual e-mail

address and not just hit reply to author.

Can we please try this? it would be so much easier to keep up with this list

if there were no more one liners.

Amy and Doree I check and these are the option for e

mails. Reply-To: All (replies go to all members

of this community)

Author (replies go to the sender)

So you see it is one or the other not both therefore

the list will stay as it is.

Teena,

I agree with you 100%. I was on a list before that wouldn't let you post a

question unless you read the archives and FAQ first. That is not for me. I

like the chattiness and talking back and forth even if it isn't on topic.

This is the first list I have been on that doesn't dwell on staying on the

topic and I love it. Easier for making new friends. Which I have, lots of

them!!:o)
