Guest guest
You have to read the carb chart and see how many carbs are in a servicng and how big they condsider a serving. Re: Just don't have any ideas re what to eat and what not to eat! How do you know how much to serve yourself is there a standard? Guest guest
you can look up the serving size and number of carbs per serving on the label on the food. You limit your meals, to start, to 30 grams a meal. I am blind so have my sighted wife read me the food labels and just have her purchase the same foods for me, most of the time, when she shops so I can recall what they are. I have them written down in a text file on my pc in case I forget... Guest guest
gina, I just take my list and hope for the best when I shop. Most of the time it is okay, but I have come home with some really strange things because the clerk who helps me doesn't know what I am talking about-or in one horrible case, the kid could not read! I finally had to ask someone else to help me. Re: Just don't have any ideas re what to eat and what not to eat! Guest guest
Are we referring to general shopping here? If so, this was a grate debate on another site here in England a few months ago. I don't have any problems when I go food shopping each week, I always check each item before placing it in the cart. Not only do I write the list, I also put the isle number to where they can find the product, but I always accompany the helper to do the shopping. . uyeast > > infection > > > > >> > > > > > > > >> > > > > > > > >> > > > > > > > >> > > > Hello > > > > >> > > > I know this is not a cool topic, but I > > guess > > > it's common > > > in > > > > >> > females, > > > > >> > or > > > > >> > > do males get too? > > > > >> > > > and how can it be controlled? > > > > >> > > > > > > > >> > > > > > > > >> > > > > > > > >> > > > [Non-text portions of this message have > > been > > > removed] > > > > >> > > > > > > > >> > > > > > > > >> > > > > > > > >> > > > > > > >> > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > >> ------------------------------------------------------------------------- > > > - > > > > >> > > ---- > > > > >> > > >

Guest guest
We have also had this discussion of several other lists I belong to. A long time ago (long about 1977) I lived in Colorado Springs, Colorado. I was tasked with the shopping duties and soon discovered that a lot of the clerks could not read. One time I discovered, as did , that the little girl assigned to me could not read. I started attaching a label from the product I wanted to the list. In this way the shopping helper could at least match the pictures! Folks, I am sorry to say that illiteracy is not a new thing here in the United States. It has been on the rise for a long, long time. Now, on the bright side of this picture this is one of the reasons I maintain that talking products are going to become commonplace - many, many, many people just flat can not read! It is not because they can not see, it is not because they are mentally handicapped, it is because they are uneducated! It is because " no child is left behind " and we would not want to fail anyone because it might make them feel bad. Cy, the Ancient Okie... > > > > >> > > > > > > > >> > > > > > > > >> > > > > > > > >> > > > [Non-text portions of this message have > > been > > > removed] > > > > >> > > > > > > > >> > > > > > > > >> > > > > > > > >> > > > > > > >> > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > > >> --------------------------------------------------------------------- >> ---- > > > - > > > > >> > > ---- > > > > >> > > >
Guest guest
Yes talking about shopping. And no I don't know the isles at all. They keep changing them so it is harder for the folks to help as well. then you get someone who has other problems and can't read, so that doesn't help either. I am so pleased for you. --Dar --Every Saint has a Past, Every Sinner has a Future uyeast >> > infection >> > > > >> > > > >> > > > >> > > > >> > > > >> > > > >> > > > >> > > > Hello >> > > > >> > > > I know this is not a cool topic, but I >> > guess >> > > it's common >> > > in >> > > > >> > females, >> > > > >> > or >> > > > >> > > do males get too? >> > > > >> > > > and how can it be controlled? >> > > > >> > > > >> > > > >> > > > >> > > > >> > > > >> > > > >> > > > [Non-text portions of this message have >> > been >> > > removed] >> > > > >> > > > >> > > > >> > > > >> > > > >> > > > >> > > > >> > > >> > > > >> > >> > > > > >> > > > >> > > >> > > >> > > >> > > >> > > >> > >> >> >> >> >> >> >> >> >> >> >> >> >>> ------------------------------------------------------------------------- >> > > - >> > > > >> > > ---- >> > > > >> > > >
Guest guest
This stuff is scarey. Some people say ignorance is bliss. I say ignorance is deadly. Those who support ignorance are going to be in for a rude awakening one day. uyeast >> > infection >> > > > >> > > > >> > > > >> > > > >> > > > >> > > > >> > > > >> > > > Hello >> > > > >> > > > I know this is not a cool topic, but > I >> > guess >> > > it's common >> > > in >> > > > >> > females, >> > > > >> > or >> > > > >> > > do males get too? >> > > > >> > > > and how can it be controlled? >> > > > >> > > > >> > > > >> > > > >> > > > >> > > > >> > > > >> > > > [Non-text portions of this message > have >> > been >> > > removed] >> > > > >> > > > >> > > > >> > > > >> > > > >> > > > >> > > > >> > > >> > > > >> > >> > > > > >> > > > >> > > >> > > >> > > >> > > >> > > >> > >> >> >> >> >> >> >> >> >> >> >> >> >>> --------------------------------------------------------------------- >>> ---- >> > > - >> > > > >> > > ---- >> > > > >> > > >
