It is a Great Lakes Dredge and Dock Company project....they are trying to reclaim land eroded by the sea...a man vs nature thing (nature still seems to be winning) Glad to see you still doing well....last time I saw you was on an MVA on the M13. Guest guest
Helen-I really am behind and have not kept up. No, elvie was sent home to die. he has home health nurses coming to help his wife care for him. They live 130 miles from here so I don't get to see him now. My ex keeps me posted. My mother in law made the decision not to have any more cancer surgery-she is so ill and they also live away so have not seen any of them for awhile. It has really been kind of lonely here. I live on a 6th floor in a 10 story high rise building and due to the economy and the eviction sweep our owner is making ,only 2 of us live on my floor now and it also feels lonely. I have seen good friends have to leave. I do have my good friend rodney in the building and my home health folks that check on me and of course my three pets and that helps a lot. Thanks for caring Helen. love carol On Thu, 27 Mar 2003 22:03:16 EST angelbear1129@... writes: Hi Carol, Glad that you are making it... My Prayers are always with you... Guest guest
Hello Helen Yes I've been working far more than I would like but hopefully most of that is wrapping up. The tornadoes manifested as a bunch of funnel clouds, nothing more; still quite scary, certainly with the parents visiting but nothing more. Unfortunately, work had me quite busy during the same time so I didn't spend much time with the parents. I think there's a light at the end of the tunnel, regardless, I plan to sleep all day tomorrow, it's been about three or four weeks since I've had an uninterrupted weekend.. Guest guest
Hi Helen! I am so glad to hear from you!!! Hope everything's fine on your side! Headaches... well, slightly better. Had a radiofrequency neurotomy of the medial branch nerves in Feb. Pain is controlled, except for one silly area at the right back of my head. painful whenever i touch it, so washing and combing hair becomes a prob. Just saw my doc again on tue, and he prescribed capsicin cream for me to apply on the painful area. Boy, that cream stings! aLTHOUGH he also prescribed an anasthetic cream to be applied before applying the capsicin cream. so for not much positvie results yet though. Hope u are doing fine! Guest guest
Holy Moly CARMEN G-String cheerleading outfits?? I do not know if we have official colors or not yet. Maybe Tom knows, wasn't he the team captain for the Stills Hockey on Segway's team? I am thinking that purple might be a bit riskey though, as it might blend in with stills rash and give the effect of NOTHING. The G.ot F.M. is well known for wild colors and effects. We should ask her for suggestions maybe. She has now put faces on einee meenie mineie mo. Has anyone checked the calendar or almanac to see if the Las Vegas convention dates are during a FULL MOON? Guest guest
Dan, I checked my calendar and there is a full moon on the 25th of Sept. That should be close enough for some wild, wacky, whimsical, wriggling dancing for " some " of us. Goddess........may I know our Dragon's color or colors? It's going to be sooooooo hot in Vegas that I can't imagine any of us wearing any more than the briefest of clothing. This cheer leading costume sewing thing is going to be VERY easy! We need someone to compose a short " Dragon " cheer! Marilyn, I didn't know you lived in Toronto or that you lived in Brampton, Patti. We have friends in Toronto that we visit and also in Caledon which is up the road from Brampton, right? On our next visit to Caledon, maybe we all could meet at the Brampton exit for lunch. We also go to Parry Sound if anyone's near there. I'm hesitant to visit Toronto with the SARS going around. The U.S.A. is advising us not to go to Toronto. Is it getting better now? Gosh, I hope so. Guest guest
Glad to see you made it safely Carmen, we were beginning to worry. You are right about Las Vegas in Sept. It is hot but many of us, including myself, did not leave the motel/casino during the three days we were there last year. It is air conditioned very nicely and comfy to the max.....oh I did go outside a few times to swim/relax in their pool which is VERY nice. It would be so good to meet you after three years (can that be right?) at this site! Take care, Louise. pscarmen@... wrote: > Howdy, > I am back in Michigan now. Guest guest
Okay..........it's official, Bob. Our Dragon color will be red. That great with me as red is my favorite color. I was going to go along with Cyn's " a coat of many colors " theme but red is just fine. Our pasties and thongs will now be red! Bright red although I think they make dental floss in cinnamon color. Close enough to red?????? Has it been three years already Louise? I was just thinking it was coming up on two this October but then I can't remember piddlely pooh anymore.
