Hi , What level was your daughter's dysbiosis? Evan's was a 4+ Our

pedia

and a nurse friend of mine both told me to treat the bacteria first

before continuing to chelate. Have you checked her stool since you've

been chelating further and since she first had bacteria? Happy Holidays!

Dear Mr. Gandia,

I am in association with hundreds of people across the United States and Europe who believe that there are no "safe" antidepressant pharmaceutical preparations on the market today. I personally believe that the dangers of the antidepressant drugs far outweigh the benefits to most people.

What were you prescribed Paxil (paroxetina) for? Anxiety? Depression? Were all other physical maladies ruled out first? Depression can be the result of a number of underlying physical ailments.. thyroid problems & low blood sugar are only two of the many possibilities that come to mind.

Please review the information on the following websites:

The only antibiotics I have had in the past umpteen years was for a UTI

while pregnant. First did the cranberry and aloe vera juice but after 3

days still no change. My hubby was freaking and telling me that it was a

major cause of miscarriages so I succumbed(I only get these while pregnant).

I have had all the symptoms of everyone else " needing " antibiotics but I

refused unless it's a life-threatening emergency and have recovered as well

as the others. The past 6 years I have especially insisted on avoiding them

as I have been nursing and/or pregnant. A lot of people say " It must be

nice to be married to a doctor " but I think it'd be nicer to be married to a

massage therapist, chiropractor, or homeopath! :) Hours SUCK but he's

finally getting the message NO DRUGS!!! He does what he wants with his care

but for me and our children he knows better than to offer unless he thinks

it's an emergency(and now he's suggesting mother's milk instead...whee

haa!!) So you probably don't need them either :) Think of the money

you'll save

Laurie>Oh

Rarely does ANYONE need antibitics other than in life/death situation.

It used to be said that a strep throat goes away in 7 days with antibiotics

and takes a week without them (or was that ear infections - can't remember)

Same thing!

Kick the antibiotic habit. You are only weakening your immune system. Get

thee to the homeopath

I can totally agree w/you on most everything you said, except the door

thing, I don't wear hats. And to let you know I do laugh at myself atleast

once a day. It would be unhealthy not to. You gave really good advice, and

Welcome Terry. I have completed the treatment and am

currently in remission. There are many side effects of

the combo, fortunately I don't think anybody gets them

all! I had a tough couple of weeks when I started, but

it mellowed out. Through the remainder of treatment I

was mainly fatigued most of the time, but the

" flu-like " symptoms came and went. I have been able to

continue working full time all along (after having

taken a medical leave for the first couple of weeks).

The severity of the side effects seems to vary widely

from person to person. Most of us can tolerate it

though, some have to discontinue. -dz-

Hi Terry

First off welcome to our group. You'll find lots of information and support

here.

As for the treatment. Some of us tolerate the side effects without too much

trouble, while some can't tolerate them at all. You can expect to have some

fever, chills, and have some aches in the beginning. These usually subside

with time to at least a tolerable level with time.If you think you might be

prone to depression I would suggest starting on an antidepressant before

starting treatment. This is something you might talk with your DR. about.

The best advice that I can give is to keep up a positive attitude.

Let me introduce myself. I'm the moderator of the group. I contracted

hepc in the early 70's and have been through 2 rounds of treatment so far.

Well I better go for now. My work day is going to begin a little earlier

than usual today.

Good advice. The problem with antidepressents is that

they take 2-4 weeks to begin to start working, so

better to start sooner than later. I mentioned

it(going on this treatment) to my shrink and he put me

on them right away. I have heard many people who

waited until they were suffering from depression,

wishing they had started sooner. -dz-

I would miss my snow, too. I liked the climate in

Denver a little more than here. We got plenty of snow,

but warm days in between. Here we just go into a deep

freeze, the snow that falls in January will still be

on the ground in March. -dz-

The way I look at it by now, I'm 48, 53 is not that

different. The only thing I'm counting agewise anymore

is how long I have until retirement... -dz-

That's a good one -dz-..... Most people in our age group are thinking

about that..... The Government raised the retirement age........ That

is really a let down..... You can go out early but there is a big

difference in what you can collect.....

I feel that if all the good people with all the ideas, expertise, learning

and motivation leave then there will never be any change in the status quo.

I am aiming to stay and to be as active as possible both in my centre and

possibly at region as well. I will remain chair of the Interest Group for

Parenting and Family Support as long as the group want me there and I will

encourage everyone to become active in their centres. It is difficult at

present but I do think the best way to encourage change is to use the

structures effectively by becoming pro-active within the organisation.

Anyone else any suggestions?

Best wishes,

Malinda,

We started DMSA with our son Hunter when he was 3 1/2 and he weighed about 32

pounds. We used 25 mg. every 4 hours for 3 days on and 4 off with awesome

results. When we added ALA that was another story.

I know, I can retire at 66. They are stepping it up

gradually. I think my wife can retire at 66 and 2

months. I guess it was inevitable, people are living

longer. I guess you can also opt to work until you're

70 and then get a much larger check. I don't foresee

me spending too much time contemplating that option.
