Yup...happened to us. But not with the vaccine, he got it several years

after having the vaccine when he was exposed to someone with it. It was a

VERY mild case, with only about 13 dots in all. They all crusted over in

about 5 days. What a bummer for you!

Because children are not as healthy as in the past due to vaccines and

drugs of all sorts.

Because they use Tylenol during it other drugs, making it more dangerous.

Because they want to scare you into the vaccine.

Don't be too concerned, . No point worrying about something that hasn't

happened.

As I posted earlier, my lil one had what we are almost sure was a very mild case

cp parties ... lol, i've heard of them, and had my kids not gotten them young, I

would have been the first to have arrived at such a party.

I was working daycare when got them .... and Chase was going to daycare

when he got them ..... all went well, fever, spots, cranky.... chase has one

tiny scar on his right cheek that I don't even remember him scratching at ... no

biggie.

however. ... just because kids are exposed at the same time doesnt' necessarily

mean they will get them at the same time. Incubation is 14 to 21 days, my

sisters kids got them 21 days apart .... all 4 of the kids .... LONGGGGGG spring

at their house LOL

best wishes

I had a second episode of chickpox when I was in high school... not

severe at all. At that time, it was going around my highschool and

nearly everyone got it...***NO one died*** football players all got

it... etc

My sister's 3 kids have it now and her dh... he's in his 30's.

Of course, my SO said he got it at 18 and couldn't open his mouth because

his mouth was covered in fever blisters! lol He said he was as sick as a

dog...

Oh, about the seizures... well... since all my siblings and myself had

chickenpox... 2 of them had seizures as children... they were fine with

chickenpox.

My dd hasn't caught any childhood diseases yet (that I'm aware of)... and

she had seizures as an infant that weren't vaccine related. But, I'm

sure she'll be fine. I just read a report from Dr. Mercola's newsletter

that said fever-induced seizures occur when fever is 108 degrees and up.

I have had three children who have had seizures from fevers well below that.

Actually, it isn't so much how high the temp is, but seizures can occur when a

temperature rises very fast. One of my sons had seizures with temps that were

not even over 103° many times. And one of my daughters always had seizures with

temps of 105-106°

Dawn in NC

I just read a report from Dr. Mercola's newsletter

that said fever-induced seizures occur when fever is 108 degrees and up.

My 4 children got chicken pox in the summer of 92 they where small I

believe it was Jennie at 4, 3, and 11/2 they had some vax

shot but they where behind more than 6mo. Did not know what I know now.

However my 4th child was 4mo back then no vax and he too got the

chicken pox I remember it did not bother him so much as the others and

they had the shots.

unfortunately not being informed I vax my little at 6 mo a healthy

baby until the first shot; than after that he got every cold , flu

asthma, pneumonia and was hospitalize. Until 3 years ago I moved to

California and had no money for insurance stopped all the vax for the

children and all of the children now for more than 1year 8mo they have

been clear no flus or colds. and haven't had a asthma attack

for the same time. The funny thing I have not had a cold for the same

time. Is like their system cleared up of something. Now I have my little

Patty 4mo on Sunday the 10 no colds or flu totally perfect except for the

4 day stay in the hospital because of jaundice. Thank God my

stayed almost 30 days because of jaundice. Perhaps if I had learned what

I know now my kids would not had suffered, And now would been free of

their learning disabilities.

I am not sure, he has been scratching, he has been in contact with them, he

does have a rash, but the rash is very tiny red spots so it is hard to tell

if they are fluid filled and he has been a crank for the last week. sherri

Yup, if he's ready, he'll catch it. :) Nothing major, just alot of

itching. Oatmeal baths help and mitts on the hands if he scratches

alot.

Chicken pox is contagous up to 21

days before the spots appear so he`s

already been exposed! In a healthy

child chicken pox is no big deal,

there`s a long running joke in my

house about the day I sent my dd to

school with cp. She told me in the

morning that she felt `funny` but I

didn`t believe her as she looked

healthy and she claimed illness most

mornings. It was not until bedtime

that I seen the spots and she said

they`d been there all day but she

thought they were hives. She got very

spotty but wasn`t `ill`. The school

head thought it was really funny that

she`d spent all day in school and

no-one had noticed.

On a more serious note I had cp as an

adult when I was in the early stages of

pregnancy and had a miscarriage.

(This was before I learnt about natural

medicine and I was really sick)

I`ve seen on various net sites that the

cp virus is dangerous in pregnancy

and this is being used to push the vax

to young women but I was told that the

virus itself had not caused the

miscarriage but the high fever I had

was the problem. Anyone know the

truth on this?

Joycein Ireland.
