mike....good for you for number 1. catching this and number two for NOT

allowing this.

I will be back online as of Monday, November nth, my friend and partner.

Thank you for your understanding, patience and friendship...they all mean more

to me than you will know.

To the Group...I have missed you so much....my husband is still recuperating

and has a great deal more to do....about 3-4 months, but he is now able to

do some things on his own..so I can sneak away to the computer...as for my

legs...I just have to keep them up while I am sitting at the computer...the

broken leg, God willing will heal without any problems especially more RSD

concerns...the left one...well that will always be bad...so at least I don't

have a

third one to break, sprain or get RSD in....LOL

Thanks for all your kind words of encouragement my friends.

As for the member causing Mike the headaches regarding the mass

emailing.....I strongly suggest that no one else follow in their shoes....for I

will back

Mike up 100% and have absolutely no problem doing so. Please DO NOT mistake

Mike's generosity and kindness...for he is just those things...generous and

kind....but he nor I will allow anyone to jeopardize our group or it's

member's happiness, privacy and sense of comfort!!

With that said, I am so happy to be back online and continue to be your

co-Owner, Mike. I truly love you for your friendship and generosity.

Mr.Toads ride at Disney world years ago. But give it time and it will

I hope you don't mind he seemed be making everyone really uncomfortable and

I was reading the E-mails like I always do and I just did not think this guy was

really on the up and up with us so I deleted him from the group before he could

I surely hope, everybody has forgotten and buried in their mind that total ....

errr can't say it here, " person " , that tried to wreck our very nice group. He

did a good job though. Worked too... Wrecked it. People like that are good at

it.

People like me, hesitate or simply do not get into discussions that I know

nothing about. Is that a bad thing??? Maybe I should of. I spend many hours

researching my problems/disease. I am not a Dr. or a medical person. I delete

hundreds of emails a day, not just from this group. The spinal disorders group

is one of the few groups I am on that I get all the individual emails (or

whatever it is called). I care about you guys. Yes I have a spinal disorder. But

this " disruption " makes me feel like an outsider.... which I was anyway.

Are we all gonna let him sit tight in Germany with a smug smile on his face and

laugh in his mug of German beer??? He was probably sitting in a run down apt. in

the slums of a city somewhere (I was gonna say a " where " but who knows how many

of our 'group' live there!!) in the US. I dunno, I have been thinking of

tracking the weasel down, and having one of my internet " terminators " friends

track him down. But he isn't worth it.

I just hope, if he is in the military, he just cleans out toilets and garbage

cans. And does not fly a helicopter, or have a finger on a button where he can

do something really stupid. Blow something up. Something. Besides wrecking our

group.

my name is dr bob kirby and i am very new here in the group (less than 2 weeks) 

so i wanted to intoduce myself and say hello. i am a chiropractor by trade, have

been practicing about 10 years now, and before that was an xray/ct/mri tech for

20 plus years. before that i worked as what was then called an orderly in a

hospital during summer college breaks. i have been in healthcare of some sort my

entire life and consider it an honor to treat patients, meet incredible people

and help in any way possible.  This is especially true of late, as since 12/08 i

have had 4 spinal surgeries and am now scheduled for a 5th in November. It is

agony to the Nth degree that I survive each day and unfortunately seem destined

to. I will never give in tho and want to help as many people as possible and

your heartfelt yearning for some relief hit home in so many ways.  I want to

offer my assistance in any way possible and that includes helping you procure a

TENS unit

(the use of which, when explained fully and used properly, can offer

significant benefit in the blockage

of pain and the relaxation of excess spasm and other chronic pain bugaboos. i

can and will be happy to get u a quality TENS at cost (no more than $35-50 for a

very good unit) and am more than happy to help in any way possible as long as it

does not violate your or my state " s chiropractic regulations. also, if i can

help u understand and put in layman's terms many of the complexities of spinal

anatomy, physiology and your specific disturbance please dont hesitate to

If you are indeed up on the latest as far as Tens Units fo for spine pain, then

you will know that they are being phased out and Interferential Therapy Units

which use a crossing pattern of electrical waves and use a higher

frequency...both of these traits make it much better for those who suffer from

spine pain which lies very deep...so deep that Tens can't reach it. Wether you

know it or not, Tens is a much better application for more superficial pains.

An IR Unit can be obtained by almost any practitioner a spine patient sees...and

physical therapists are a very good source for one...and if you have some type

of durable medical coverage then you may not have to pay much or nothing at all.

I found this unit to be much more effective than TENS for my lumbar spine pain.
