Have you asked your church for help, if you attend one

that is, some don't, which includes me, no Synagogue

around here 2 hour drive to one. If you get down and

out they will help you and it really does not matter

what church you go to. You might be eligible for

Medicaid (I am not). If it is just you the cut off

point is $900 monthly, even if you have $902 coming in

does not matter. I Never thought life was gonna turn

out this way and I know others on the list feel the

same.

Take Care Tatezi, Connie

They sound like a good company to work for.

Hi Connie

So sorry you're so sick. Is this part of treatment or do you have the

flu? I'm really having second doubts about going on treatment...but I

won't say a definite NO...will wait and see what all the test results

say. But it sounds so awful, what you're going through. Just

terrible. It's not fair...but in this world today just what the heck

is fair hey? Hang in there Connie, I really feel bad for you.

Thanks Carol,

It could be the flu, it could be anything, I never

get well from anything, :-)). Please, don't let it

scare you off of treatment. I am on a very agressive

treatment for the Hec C. It consists of nightly

Interferon shots 5 miu and 6 pills of Ribavarin, my

weight calls for 5 pills. I am at the 6 month mark

with the agressive meds. I have been wondering if

maybe I should switch to new treatment. But,

everything is approved through Schering, on the

treatment I am on.

Good Lord Connie, no wonder you're sick! That's a lot of medication.

No, nothing you said has turned me off treatment. It's just

everything about it....depending on how the results are at Doc on the

19th...well, that's when I make up my mind, I guess. If I can locate

my mind that day? LOL.

Carol,

Connie also has a few other health problems which

have made things more difficult for her, I think

especially the diabetes. (What about those classes

Connie! Have you called back? Don't put that off, it's

really important! - I guess with my son getting

shipped over seas I'll just have to take out some of

my 'mothering' on you, lol!)

And Connie, have you had any recent blood tests? How

long have you been on treatment total now?

Claudine

PS everyone: This is off topic - my oldest son who is

in the Air Force is getting shipped out next week, to

I don't know where. It sounds like it may be Russia,

but they would not tell him his exact destination. I

have been pretty bummed out over this, especially

because he said he will not be able to receive or send

mail, and he also has no idea how long he will be

gone. This not being able to communicate with him is

going to be very difficult!

Dear Connie,

Good heavens, child, you're taking enough drugs to make you feel like you

have the flu, pneumonia, bronchitis, and food poisoning all at the same time.

Schering recommended this?

Take care, dear, and if you don't go back to feeling like " normal " whatever

that might be for you at this point, SEE YOUR DOCTOR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

YESTERDAY!!!!!!!!!!!

LOL,

Dear Claudine,

and I will bew praying for your son on a daily basis. says that

unless he's going somewhere really off the wall, there will be a way to

communicate with him. He suggests, and I agree, that you write him letters

as if he will be getting them in a timely fashion. These will get to him

eventually. says that when he was out " in the field " for weeks on end,

coming back to find a stack of mail from his Mother and Sisters made it all

worthwhile. If you will send us his address, we will send him cheery hellos,

too.

LOL,

Anne

Hi Claudine,

I finally got a bill and found out what Hospital I

was at. I went over yesterday to see about it and was

told I had appointment on the 3rd. They forgot to

tell me. I have an appointment at 8:30 Wed. But as

you know there is always a catch. The booklet I have

says treatment there, you have to be a Bibb Co

resident. I am in Houston Co, one co away. I have

thought of everything but there is no way to show I am

from Bibb co. Wish there was they do bloodwork and

everything there. I will go and try though. Did you

decide how much of that OJ you would want?......LOL

Do you think I should find a lawyer? Last bloodwork

was 7-8 weeks ago ever since the from the Drs

office started on me I think blood levels were getting

lower then, but at times it will increase the levels.

I have been on treatment since January, that is the (3

months)regular and agressive combined. a total of

11-12 months?

Yes, go anyway. If they won't take you maybe they can

set you up with someone in your county. It doesn't

hurt to try. This is something you really need, so GO!

No OJ, thanks anyway, lol. Don't know about the

lawyer. What are they offering? Besides paying for the

emergency room? You are past due for bloodwork. How

much longer are you approved for the meds? Was it a

year from the beginning, or a year from when it was

upped to daily dosing?
