(((( Liz ))))       I love you too!   My husband walks for 3-5 miles a

day with 2 of his retired buddies.  I don't want to spoil his man-bonding

time.  I am doing my LL again.  Already feel better.  I was going to curves

with 2 girl friends--got bored quit last month  was going to WW got too

expensive....boy do I have a lot of excuses...LOL..

I am active in my church and help with the funeral dinners ect....don't want to

work, I help others and don't wnt to be tied down to a job again....I feel that

God wants me to be available to help others when I can.

Reading all the e-mails on this loop has really got me excited again.

Would love to talk to you any time...I have unlimited xcalling too. :-)

Love, Connie

Re: Connie

Hi Connie! I'm sorry that you lost your friend. If I lived closer I would be

your exercise buddy. Do you think that you could get your hubby to walk with

you. Tell him that you need a new exercise buddy and he's it. :-)

Try and do 10 LL breaths today, tomorrow, Mon. etc. etc. Tell yourself that it's

only 10, think....surely I can do 10 a day, this will get you into the LL mode

and i bet that you'll soon be doing more each day. Remind yourself that you're

doing it for you. You can do it Connie!

What would your hubby think if you got a part time job?

I love you Connie! If you would like to talk on the phone, I can call you, I

have unlimited long distance. Just let me know, email me off line with your

number.

Love, Liz

Dear , I loved this " love Letter " . This is just the inspiration that I

needed today. I have been so down since my job ended 3 years ago.....my

husband retired early at age 55 and asked me to try to stay home with him. Â

I have but have lost all motivation to exercise and have been eating sugar like

crazy....also my best friend and weight watcher buddy and walking buddy died.Â

I am going to try all suggestions from you and Rashelle's newsletter and

start doing my LL again.   I always feel so much better and look better

why did I stop. Reading all the posts from everyone else has motivated me

too.  I am BACK!  Â

Love to you and all

Connie

Hi Connie,

It sure sounds like you are getting back into your breathing. What a perfect

time to have your privacy to do your Lifelift while hubby walks. : )

How sweet that you are helping out the Church. I know you are loving having

the time to assist when called upon.

Keep us posted! Glad you are back.

Love, Wanda

Hi Connie, I am so sorry to hear that you lost your best friend and

" health " buddy. I'm glad you're back posting. I think the last time I

was regularly posting and deciding to really get down to business with

this, you were on too. Like with you, the newsletters and all the good

results everyone is getting have inspired me too. Liz has an excellent

idea. If we can just start with 10 breaths a day, we will keep going.

Why is it so easy to get into a bad habit but so hard to train ourselves

to stick with what is good for us???? I hope you keep posting because I

think this group is great and I know they will keep you going.

Your friend,

Chris

Hi All,

Joe and I just got home from a 3 day camping trip. Very fun even tho it

rained all day Monday and into the night. We went to sleep to the pitter

patter of raindrops on vinyl. I did my breathing the first day and then

because I am not in the habit yet, forgot about it. Tomorrow I plan to

get out my reflexology tape and watch it again. Also get back to the

breathing, starting with at least 10 before bed tonight. It was such a

nice surprise to see all the messages. You guys are so inspiring. It's

good to see a few names I haven't seen for awhile. , as you said,

PTL that Jake is back safe and sound. I can only imagine how happy you

are.

Connie - LDH is a fairly important number. Yours is not very high, I think just about high normal. Just need to watch it.

It is statistically unlikely that your hubby should be having a transformation, especially since I gather that he has not had any treatment before.

Nothing you say sounds alarming. Go slow, don't rush into anything.

This is my first post. My 66 y.o. husband has been on W & W since 5/08. He is ZAP-70 (over 95%), CD-38>20%, Trisomy 12. He has no symptoms other than enlarged lymph nodes mostly on one side of his neck. When he saw his oncologist recently, his WBC was 14,000 but is LDH was 187, about the same as 5 mos. ago. He wants him to have a PET scan when he returns the end of May because there might be a "transformation." I thought that only came about after chemo (in 5-15% cases). When I called him later, he said the LDK was "piddling" though in the office, he was concerned about the number. I am puzzled. Does anyone know anything about LDK and is this number to be concerned about? (I was sent articles by the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and it did not include numbers for LDK). Thank you for any info. you can provide me or opinions on the above!Connie Hoppe

Thank you...very interesting he specializes in spondylolisthesis which was the reasons for my first fusion but, the didn't decompress the nerves and I suffered my entire life with low back pain. I'm working up the nerve to make the appointment. I don't want to waste his time unless I can commit to surgery and I want to wait until fall so i'm laid up in winter not all summer.

Connie,

I'm not so sure you have to be willing to have surgery immediately to check out

where your at and besides it will give you a chance to decide if this is the guy

you want to go with. I was impressed with his articles. Don't ask me why I put

weight on a surgeon by how much research, articles and current works he has

going on but I do. I think it gives me a chance to digest their knowledge and

make sure they know their stuff even if I don't know exactly what they are

talking about :) C
