Isn't is amazing how tough our loved ones try to be when going through what

they are having to deal with. I don't know if I could handle it like your

wife and my husband have.

Will be thinking good thoughts for the test in October she is to have.

Thanks for the update.

Tell your wife congratulations from me and my husband. Good news for your

family. My huband has been on treatment for 14 months now and the doctor

wants him to continue until Dec 18th on the Rebetron because of his Porphyria

with the Hep C. Love to hear good news like yours and hope to have some of

the same news in our lives soon. It does help us to see it is worth it after

reading your post. Thanks for sharing Marty and we wish you both well.

(((((((((((((((((((( Marty )))))))))))))))))))))

Bless you for your honesty :) May I forward that to my husband? He's been so

good to me.

I'm so glad Ms. Marty is doing well :) Does she have any after effects from

the combo? Please give her a hug for me (and for us).

Dear Connie,

That is WONDERFUL news! I never would have

thought diabetes would be a blessing, but in your case

it may have been - it sent you to this doctor, who

sounds wonderful. Have you or the doctor tried

contacting the head offices of the labs? Just a

thought, since all the drug companies have some sort

of program to help provide medications to those who

can't pay, maybe the labs (often owned by the same

companies as the drug mfg.) have some sort of program

too. It's a long shot, I know. There wouldn't be the

same motivation for the labs to help as there is for

the drug companies.

What is happening with your legal issues? Any

progress there?

Claudine

Dear Claudine,

Good idea! About the Labs, there is a

Kline one here. Nothing new on legal issues. I hope

to hear a positive reply from SS soon. I am not sure

how sick I have to be till they consider it sick

enough...lol......He is a great Dr., has beed a long

time since I have seen one like him. They are a group

that is becoming extinct. We have one here also, Doc

Thanks again Claudine....Take Care, Connie

I hope that all continues to go well for you and your treatment, especially with

the side effects. I know how difficult it is to mentally and physically function

when you do have side effects.
