Don't worry, PJ, I was jes' funnin' ya. I haven't yet plateaued, and won't

panic when I do (although I don't promise not to be disappointed); I've been

through weight loss too many times not to know that. I'm losing just fine,

thank you, even after having garlic mashed potatoes for dinner last night!

Beard at the moment is Arafatish. Hope it's better by the party!

Dear ,

Congrats on having all your contacts! I wish you all the best!

By the way, I was only kidding about the operation being a failure; I was

riffing on one disgruntled patient declared her operation a failure after

hitting a plateau after just a couple of months. I'm losing great, completely

painfree, moving from liquids to mush, and couldn't be happier!!

Yes, Jon. The " horny " is more information than I need or even want to hear.

You can keep that info to yourself. I am glad to hear about your loss,

however. Continued good luck on your weight loss.

Jon,

Just checking, I do get in panic myself despite my knowing better when it

comes to losing weight. You sound like you are in great spirits. I

never have heard so much great stuff about operations. I am really

getting pumped about this surgery, it has to happen before I drive my

family over the edge with my excitement!!!!! They are all a " normal "

size and really do not see why it is such a BIG deal!!! We know don't

we?!!!

I have contacted my insurance and they seem to really appreciate me

trying to get this done fast right before the holidays(yea, right!!). I

bet I made some friends there!!! I have met my major medical for this

year and I told (asked?) them to try to get it done before I had to start

over!!!

I hope Dr. R likes my letter, it is chatty and a mere 8 pages long. I

was traumasized as a child writer by my elementary school english teacher

and have not been able to write any novels since!!!

Thanks and good luck with the beard!!!

Zoey,

This isn't a porn group is it? I don't mean to offend anyone, but I don't

want to be offended either. I am a Christian woman, and would prefer not to

read such as this. I joined the e-group because of the MGB, to read

experiences about it. Not to read about someone in the group being " horny. "

That's my feelings, and I felt that I should share them. Surely I'm not the

only one that feels that way. I mean, I hear people on this group giving

Praise to God for their surgery, and that's exactly where it should go. He

has given Dr. R a gift. But when I read about a person being " horny " it

makes me feel dirty to even read it. That isn't something to broadcast. I

hope that I haven't offended anyone, but I felt compelled to share my

thoughts and feelings.

It was 1.8 oz. dry (plus hot water), and took me almost two hours to eat.

Calories: 180; calories from fat: 25. Can't get fat from that!

I had a white castle hamburger.. anyone out there know what these are?

Well, anyway it just barely fit in, but it was fantastic. My mom had a hissy

fit... " you ate a whole hamburger!! "

these things are about 2 " in diameter, with a skinny lil' piece of hamburger on

it punched with about 6 holes, its' steamed with dehydrated onions and the buns

placed on top.. The smell is so good....

I use to eat about 6 of these, with an order of onion rings and a lemonaide.

Now, I can have one.... just one. nothing else..

Mother....paleeeze.
