Thanks Jon!

I did not know if you were coming to the party, but

now I know! Can't wait to meet you! Be sure to save

me a dance.

P.S. And no you did not flirt too much...just a lot

going on right now. You understand, I know you do!

:o)

Way to go Jon!! I am looking forward myself to going in and out of every

turnstile I see after I get this surgery!! I will go to Vision Land and

ride that skinny person's swing ride as often as I like w/out worrying

about the jaw of life having to get me out (I got stuck in it 2 years

ago, I mistook myself for a normal sized person I guess!!) You go!!! I

am sooo happy for you.

Thanks !

This morning I had an experience that vindicated my decision to wait awhile

before becoming a " contact " : I got on the scale and saw that I had only lost 1/2

pound since yesterday :( Should I declare my operation a failure?:)

Jon,

You can " tighten " the seat belt on a plane, No, I would say that your

surgery is NOT failure. Your body may just be catching it's breath after

the first wonderful weight loss and then " doin it again " .

I have all my contacts, and I think you would be a great contact for one

of these other Pre-ops. I am still interested and following the progress

of everyone who E-mailed me back (and others who did not).

Reading about all these post-op losses has been great, but I think (yeah,

Like what do I know?!!) that it is just as important to take the losses

in stride and not get caught up in the " I gotta lose every day!! " mode.

Hey a 1/2 pound is still that much less than before.

You are a skinny person working his way out into the world!!! You go

man!!!!

in Montgomery

No Jon, you should stay off the damned scale!! What is it with weighing

everyday?

I met a reasonable and smart fella. You're gonna plateau; you're gonna have

slow and faster and dead stop. You're gonna make youself crazy!

Tell me this, Jon dear. How's the beard? Will it be back in time for the

party? There'll be a bunch of women there wanting to punch your dance card!!!

Take care. We'll talk soon. PJ

Don't worry, PJ, I was jes' funnin' ya. I haven't yet plateaued, and won't

panic when I do (although I don't promise not to be disappointed); I've been

through weight loss too many times not to know that. I'm losing just fine,

thank you, even after having garlic mashed potatoes for dinner last night!

Beard at the moment is Arafatish. Hope it's better by the party!

Best,
