Guest guest
Aw don't sweat over it Christy, from either of them. Let pay for her own insurance if she isn't, and if Tina gloats about it just remind her of how much you've helped her out in the past. That'll shut both of them up. lol Hang in there Mom! The only excitement in my life is a new prescription!

Guest guest
She did get a ticket for doing 78 in a 55. It's $130! She's paying it. Ronnie and I decided she could go to and from work. I don't want her to lose her job! I suppose Tina's doing as well as I could expect. I went to her house the other day (I can't call ahead... they don't have a phone) and they were screaming and yelling at each other. Also, one of the windows in their front door is already busted out! I am really afraid one of them will get hurt but I don't think it will be Tina. Also, called the house today. This was really odd because we don't speak. Ever. answered and he said it was really important and he needed to get a message to Tina and have her call him (he was at a friend's in Albany about 30 miles away.) Ronnie took to Tina's (about 2 miles away) and let her use 's cell phone to call him. He wanted to know if she wanted to come over and go swimming with them. GRRRRRRRRRRRRR It won't happen again. said she never even thanked her for giving her the "urgent message" or letting her use the phone! I refused to go. I figured if someone died, it wasn't her if he was wanting to talk to her! Nothing else he has to say could be urgent! Guess I was right. Sorry you asked? update We're fine here. Guest guest
Hi everyone, I haven't posted in quite a while, but I do try to keep up with the group and read the emails. We have been GF/CF for over a year and started the SCD this past Nov. We just had some tests done for my son and I was surprised how high his yeast levels were. I make all his food from scratch and buy organic fruits and veggies. He was eating a lot of honey which we have stopped using. Anyway besides the acidophilus we were already taking my Dr. added sacchromyces boulardi. I'm not sure if this is SCD legal, but my Dr. really wants him to take it for a month. Since we started last week, my son has had some Diarhea and a runny nose and a little rash on his face. Could this be die off? Also, does anyone have ideas for sweetners, since we can't use honey? I have stevia but haven't tried it yet. Thanks Donna mom to Will 3yrs old, PDD-NOS __________________________________________________
Guest guest
Donna, The sacchromyces boulardi is fine to take. Have you done any anti-fungal treatment? What type of test did you have done that showed high levels of yeast? The reaction you are describing is difficult to interpret. It could be an allergic reaction. Does using activated charcoal or epsom salt baths help? Die off should be helped by those two. I don't know whether they would help an allergic reaction or not. Guest guest
> He gave us Echinacea/eyebright and mullein garlic to use if my son gets an earache. Has anyone ever tried either of these? > > Donna We find the echinacea useful in preventing colds. Have never taken it with eyebright. Is the mullein garlic an oil for putting in the ears? I've used mullein oil for that purpose, warmed up. Very soothing for earache. I imagine the garlic would help because it's an antifungal. (I get ear infections from eating cheese -- I'm casein intolerant, which causes fungal overgrowth in me. Sometimes there's just nothing else good to eat.)
