How come I had so low T4 (10) levels while on 100 mcg T4 and 40 mcg T3?

Because your TSH was totally supressed, which is odd unless oyu have

slight pituitary malfunction or possibly Celiac caused this as it

interferes with HPA fiunction.

I do nto think it si fibrillation at all but PALPS. Palps are generally

harmless and wiht you havign had a total heart workup I would not worry

that your heart wil becomedmaged from it. You just need ot SLOWLY raise

the T3 as oyur ferritin gets high enough ot tolerate it btu DO NOT RAISE

the T3 too fast or it will cause these symtoms from the low ferritin.

I checked my logs. There were no changes i medication, I did 75 mcg T4 only, and 17.5 mg HC between these two dates. Can you explain why my rT3 got worse in this time then? How can I go from Type 2 to Type 1 Hypo? The endos in early 2008 wanted to remove my meds beause theywere sure I was healthy and AM healthy today!Hmmm. Am I backed up with 25 mg HC and 100 mg iron enough to get that T3 into my cells you think? Compared to my situation in earl 2008 when I got fibrillation? I was thenonly on 100 mcg T4 and 40 mcg T3, nothing else. Yes, I did take a multivitamin with 150 mkg iodine and maybe 8 mg iron in it. + 2000 mg C daily. This is all I took.Subject: Re: Re: Help - Heart just started beating VERY slowly and IRREGULARLYTo: RT3_T3 Date: Tuesday, January 5, 2010, 2:33 PM

got worse in this time then?

A) Because havign a bit too much RT3 causes it to slowly climb higher.

You donlt HAVe TO CHANGE ANYTHING FOR THIS TO HAPPEN IT SI SELF PROMOTING,.

How can I go from Type 2 to Type 1 Hypo? The endos in early 2008 wanted

to remove my meds beause they were sure I was healthy and AM healthy today!

A) Becasue high RT3 is ONE major cause of hypo type 2. It IS thyroid

resistance and can be caused by SO many things I doubt we wil ever track

down all th4e causes. Too much exercise, extreme dieting, stress, are

all causes of this.

Hmmm. Am I backed up with 25 mg HC and 100 mg iron enough to get that T3

It is possible. Low ferritin will cause anxiety to worsen and many peole

even think it si all adrenals when it is not. Headaches, body pain and

horrible fatigue are common symptpms form low ferritin.

, which changes would you do to my regime to see a faster improvement?I take 2 x 50 mg iron 1 hour after my second and third dose of 5 mcg T3. Maybe I should add 50 mg iron extra after the first fose of T3 as well? 3 x 50 mg?Why do you think I got the fibrillation? Believe me, it was fibrillation of some sort.Heart skipping many beats today. Can it be because I lowered my HC to 25 mg from 27.5?Also, can it be dangerous in any way taking so much iron daily? It says "take max 1 tablet" on the iron box. :)Should I want 2 more days to increase T3? I am on 15 mcg T3 daily now. Lowered HCyesterday. No real headache today. My face looks SO fat now. Much fatter today than even just 1+ week ago. HC playingaround? Or just low T3?Subject: Re: Re: Help - Heart just started beating VERY slowly and IRREGULARLYTo: RT3_T3 Date: Tuesday, January 5, 2010, 2:48 PM

I htink RT3 causes alot fo heart symptoms simply by blocking the T3 to

the cells. HYPO can ruin your heart btu not with fibbrillation with

fluid reteniton in the chest and heart cavity which smothers it. The

fluttering is due to an intolerance proabbly what is called going TOXIC

on T4 meds which I have heard and many thyroid docotrs wil state but

NONE of them seems ot knwo it is RT3 that causes this toxicity to T4. I

would up your iron to at least 150mg daily. No it wil nto hurt oyu,

those dose recommendations are for peole that take iron jsut because

...like a multi vitamin, not for coprrecting LOW iron.

It's the blocking I am afraid of. I can understand I had some kind of blocking of T3 byrT3 or low cortisol, or both, in early 2008, leading my heart into fibrillation-land.I am very afraid of getting this again, cause nobody will know what to do! Do you knowwhat to do in this case? I mean, do they just shock my heart, try to make it beat normallyand then inject me with Iron IV and up my T3 immediately or what? And what is causingthe fibrillation directly, is it just the blocking of T3, or the blocking of T3 combined withthe fact that the person is taking a lot (40 mcg ++) of T3, leaving FT3 high in the bloodor what? (T3 pooling, like mine did!) And is it rT3 or low cortisol causing T3 to pool in theblood? Should I feel safe now taking 25 mg HC daily? Should my rT3 loosen up and godown now from me taking T3-only, 15-20 mcg

(gonna up the dose in 1-2 days) ???Or do I need higher doses + much longer time? I hear 12 weeks is the standard? My heart feels weird. Just, weird. And the symptoms change every day. Now I have thisheavy feeling in my chest, like I have some "lump" inside there, on my heart. It feels like..Clogging of the arteries! Sounds crazy, I know, but, with a rising colesterol (It was 5.1 lasttime I checked it! And it was 3.0 2 years ago! Do I need thyroid meds Working, badly, orwhat???) Oh well..... Should I move around more? Walk more? I hear exercise is BAD when you have AF.Walking is good anyways. What's the recommendation from the people in here?

Couldn't fall asleep in the nighttime again. Went to bed at 2, was tired and sleepy.Felt too bad to fall asleep. Just.. Bad! Then after 1-2 hours, my heart started beatingfaster. Not racing crazy like a tachycardia attack, no, this was "just" a pulse around120-130 bpm. Still it was enough to make me worried so I got up and sat in the bathroom(to get heat) and wore it off. What was that? I also drank some sea salt water. Not sureif it helped.Woke up today with a horrible headache much like I had 3-4 days ago. I lowered my HCfrom 27.5 to 25.0 mg 3 days ago. I don't think my headache comes from too much HC though.I believe this is an infection in my nose/sinusus/tonsils (chronic) - I think I will just askmy GP for antibiotics. And I really have to do a laser operation of those tonsils. I feelthat they are causing me a

lot of problems. I can almost touch it!!!My main worry is that I am too low thyroid / too weak (AF) to even survive the operation. They will inject something in my arm to make me relaxed, then anesthetics into my tonsils.I know an operation is stress for the body. Do I stress dose before, after this operation?I need all the info I can get before I go through with this! I feel time is running out for me...I am also on such a low T3-dose of 15 mcg daily. I have no idea what to do before thisoperation (haven't ordered an appointment yet - been at 3 consultations at the guy andhe seems VERY talented - the best in all of Norway!) so any tips would be greatlyappreciated! There is just too much bad stuff going on with my body and I feel I need to start somewhere, get rid of the things I _DO_ know need to get a fix. TONSILS, for one. This white slimy stuff running down the back of my throat, from up there,

what is this?Is this from having chronically infected tonsils, or a septum deviation (I have that) orjust HYPO or a mix of them all or what?My head is stinging me badly now! PAIN! I also feel weak. Should I go UP on the HCdose again or.... ?*confused, scared and weak* (not the man I used to be 3+ years ago!)

Ihtink you are having hypoglycemia in the night and htis is causing

adrnealine which is why your heart pouds and the headaches as well. YES

oyu shoudl stress dose before this surgeery. I would take 20mg right

before you go in for it and bring extra wiht you for as soon as oyu are

awake if oyu feel at all shaky take more then 10-20mg more. You

literally cannto take too much HC . In the hospitla they routinely give

100-200mg injecitons to people in shock.
