I'm glad you were able to change the time. You would think they

w/conside it for everybody. It doesn't take that long to do one. I

think I'm still in shock. I don't want to think further than Monday

right now. I would think I could have an early u/s next week.

Pam,

That would be great if you can find out anything about E2.

I'm debating speaking to dh about it. I try not to take advantage of the

fact that he and my doctor are best friends (it can create some hard

feelings with members of the office if they're told to rearrange their

schedules for a doctor's wife), but under the circumstances I'm seriously

considering it. I can't afford to reschedule an entire day of microderm

patients. I may be able to use our nurse to do morning microderms, but I

can't tie her up all day. He should be home soon, so hopefully I'll be able

to talk to him before they start taping the radio show, if not, I won't see

him till tomorrow morning (he tapes a Christian radio show on Friday

nights).

Hi Pam,

Yes, my doctor does everything in office (except HSG which the state

mandates must be done in a radiology center). They have 4 ultrasound

machines that are going all day, not counting the ones in the IVF suite.

The IVF suite is where the retrievals and transfers take place. There's

also an inhouse sperm lab and a blood lab. It's a very big practice, only 4

doctors, but many patients.

Actually, we just spoke to him, and he said he would take care of it.

They'll do my u/s after the bloodwork. I am so happy because I didn't want

to skip it, and couldn't wait till 2:00.

What time is your appointment on Monday? Will they be doing an u/s in

addition to bloodwork? By the way, how far along are you? Just wondering

if you'll be able to see the sac soon... this is so exciting!!!!! I'm so

happy for you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! How's dh doing? Are you guys still

walking around in a state of shock?

Pam,

That would be wonderful if you can do an early u/s! I would still wait

though, if it's too early you won't see anything, and I'd be afraid I would

freak thinking it's another ep. It might be better to wait till they know

it will show. How far along are you? I'm guessing about 15-16 days.

I had a bruise. It really hurt when I wore my jeans. It took a couple

of days to feel better. It hurt so bad I thought I must have

punctured an organ or something.

Pam,

My dh doesn't understand the whole group thing either. At first he thought

I was wallowing in misery. Now, he's happy that I'm happy and figures it's

a good thing. He was surprised at how excited I was for ALL the newly

pregnant members. I told him a lot about you and what you've been through;

also about R. He thinks it's nice that we are so supportive of each

other. I think they have a hard time with it because they don't know the

members of the group. It's easier for them if they can SEE and speak to the

people.

Pam,

I'm so excited to see how many more follicles have developed! I'm hoping to

see some improvement in the lining also. Will let you know how it goes.

Good luck to you also!

Pam,

When you hit the muscle did the skin bruise? It is so sore when I touch the

area. Dh said to insert the needle more on an angle; I know I went

straight in, I'm not very functional first thing in the morning!

Sorry to hear about the bloating, it's such an uncomfortable feeling. I

hope you feel more comfortable soon.

Pam,

Yeah, you're definitely sheltered at the RE's office. If people are

pg, you certainly can't tell. I knew that you'd be able to relate to

my heartbeat story. I think I actually looked up to ask God why this

is happening. It was really loud, and obviously a miracle for

someone.

Which reminds me, at what point will the RE's office turn you back to

your gyne? I've always wondered about that.

Pam,

I believe they were in the 8-11 range, not sure. The tech I had yesterday

wasn't very informative and I had a hard time understanding what she wrote.

I figure I'm just going to wait till tomorrow. I'm hoping there's a lot

more.
