I am reading into every little twinge. But how can you not. I am sure

its to early to have any real pg signs. Implantation would have been

Friday or Saturday. Then they said it takes a couple of days for the

HCG to start its thing. I wish I had implantation spotting. But I

guess a lot of women don't always get it. Thanks for the

Unfortunately they have to list every possible side effect because the drug

companies can be sued if they leave any out (atleast that's the way I heard

the story). I haven't had hot flashes, but have felt like I was having O

pain - the strange thing is switches sides every day!!! Does that sound

wierd?

The HCG shot is given right when the egg is almost mature. It matures

the egg and you O 36 hours later. It is a butt shot. Its not that

bad. I had to do mine at 10:00 at night then go in at 9:30 am the

next two mornings for IUI.

But how do you know WHEN to give it? Is that done by u/s? We already do one

u/s at cd12 to make sure there are follies on the left side to know if we

should even proceed. Remember I have shipping concerns. Then would I have

another one, say around cd13-14 to see how big they are?

Hi Pam,

I'm actually taking Follistim (not sure if it's the same as Gonal f). The

box comes with a little vial of something that is mixed with the powder. It

has to be mixed 3 times: each new mixture added to the next amp. I'm just

soooo relieved the big needle is only for mixing purposes - that thing was

really scary looking.

How long were you on Gonal F for? I'm just trying to get a rough idea when

retrieval will be.

kick in. My progesterone was higher than my ep to.

explained it. Did the stinging sensation last long?

Hi Pam,

I'm so sorry the 2ww is so tough. I'm amazed at your willpower to not hpt.

I don't know if I could be as patient. Did I read correctly, you go for a

HcG on Thursday? If that's correct, that's wonderful! So you only have 2

more days to go!!!!!!!!! Keep as busy as possible.

I do my injections as soon as I wake up (this way I'm too tired to realize

I'm giving myself a needle). The mixing part wasn't too bad, a little

squirted out when I was transferring from vial to vial. Did you wait for

the powder to dissolve before transferring it? I kind of shook it up, then

it was all foamy. I was able to get all of it from the first 2 vials, there

was a little foam left in the third vial that I couldn't get in the needle.

I was sooooooo happy that that big ugly mixing needle didn't have to go into

my body, I definitely wouldn't be able to handle that!

just wanted to put my 2 cents in about progesterone and ep... this time with

my pg when my prog. was dropping, I asked about going on prog. supplements

and my dr. said he doesn't like to give them until he knows the baby is

where it should be , because it actually prolongs it if it is an ep.. and

that would make sense, especially if AF is trying to come, it would stop

it.....
