Several from jenny craig to weight watchers richard simmions. Young i

am 34 and i am a housewife and mother of 3 kids 12 9 and almost 10.

Summer will be more active then not now that they are home for the

summer.

It's nice to meet you, and Good luck on the diet.

I have about 20 kg to lose also (that's about 50 pounds I think?)

1 pound = 2.2 kilos... I'll figure it out later. I'm going to the store

to get some more diet foods. :) GOOD LUCK :)

Today was my first day and it went will I real think I am going to like

Hi Mirabelle

I am new to the list to I just started the diet today. My husband been on it

for a while he lost 41 pound I hope to lose some to I have a lot to lose. it

good to have you on we can help each other their is a lot of new one on.

Well, I have completed my two weeks induction diet. Now what??? I guess

I will go on as I have been. I only lost 5 pounds in two weeks but if

they come off slowly that will be ok, just so they come off! :) Does

everyone think that drinking lots of water helps? I try to drink 2 ltr a

day but sometime fall short. I run between small and moderate on the

ketos sticks. I don't know what else to do to get it up higher. Anyway,

good luck to you new diet starters. You will succeed!!! And welcome Bill

our new Moderator!!!!

, drink as much water as you can.... it is THE KEY to this plan and

any weight loss plan. Start with 8- 8oz glasses and add 8oz for every 25

lbs you need to lose.

Michele, I just explained to someone that the Protein Power plan book is

very informative. Just keep in mind that if you go off of this plan, you

will gain all of your weight back plus an enormous amount of interest...

faster than you can blink!!!! I have been living proof several times :-)

Give us an idea of what you eat in a typical day. It is common to

fluctuate in weight, but probably not as much as you are doing, do you have

ketostix.... are you in Ketosis? Water is very, very, important

Hello Everyone.....My name is and i am just getting ready to start the

Atkins diet.I have been on the Mayo diet and have lost 16 lbs.I have done

alot of reading and feel that the Atkins program is the one for me......I am

looking forward to being an active part of this group.........= )

Hello! I'm new I'm this list. My name is and I'm 14 yrs old.

I'm not really overweight but I would like to lose 5-10 lbs fairly quickly. I

read some about this low-carb diet and I'm thinking of trying it. One thing

I'm wondering is if there are any fruits that are low carb and allowed while

on this diet? I love fruit and I dont think I could bear not eating it! Its

bad enough that I would have to give up my bagels..lol. Also could someone

just send me a list of the foods that are carb free or very low carb? Are

vegetables allowed? How about V-8? And what salad dressings? Thanks for

listening and please reply!

Hi,

I have just recently learned of the Atkin's diet. I'd like info on the

New Atkin's compared to the older Atkin's diet. I'd like to lose at least

40 pounds, but I could look great at losing 95.

Welcome It is nice to have you with us I started 4 days ago and I real

like it because I don't feel hungry and that a big plus the group has been

great for me I learn a lot for everyone good luck.
