just wish that I could get the one from under my arm and put it in fornt where it belongs....I had those drains too an the doc took one out but left the other because he said he didn't want to take it out too soon...Huggs Judy G wrote:

Hold your arm up as far as you can and massage (very very gently) from finger tips as far to shoulder as you can and gently pull accross the chest to the other side....the fluids are collecting in your arm....I forgot did you have lymph nodes removed....the lymph nodes is what gets rid of the fluids and if you had any removed the fluids stay in the arm....this is what the lymphodema nurse had me to do and gave me a lot of exercises to do but have lost my sheet....but the best bet is to check with your doc or his nurse.....Angel Huggs and Prayers Judy G wrote:

Have you maybe been using it too much? Did the doctor give you exercise to do like take your fingers and crawl the wall? I would definitely call him today and let him know you are in a lot of pain. You are in my prayers.

thats where it is.my neck and shoulder and upper back.....just hurts....and my arm.....the incision is doing great.....and so is the other one on my breast...

Just out of curiosity - why did you all need drains? I didn't have

one at all, and they took half my boob plus about 6-8 nodes. I

haven't had any problems with either incision. Just wondering......

I remember it hurting so bad that I called my doctor crying cuz the pain meds wouldn't work and I couldn't move my arm for the pain and demanded he take it out. he took it out and I had no problems.

Thats what the nurse said.....if you take it out to soon, you'll have NIG problems... Ive always been kind of heavy there the past few years.but not like this...my arm is almost at a 45 degree angle.....trying to keep it off of my body....I wonder why we get this way?

Ever sense I was diagnosed....some of my friends seems to have just vanished......friends on the net Ive talked to for years..I haven't done a lot of whinnying to them.mostly only here...Mostly only saying Im ok...to them....

Do any of you run across this?

Hold your arm up as far as you can and massage (very very gently) from finger tips as far to shoulder as you can and gently pull accross the chest to the other side....the fluids are collecting in your arm....I forgot did you have lymph nodes removed....the lymph nodes is what gets rid of the fluids and if you had any removed the fluids stay in the arm....this is what the lymphodema nurse had me to do and gave me a lot of exercises to do but have lost my sheet....but the best bet is to check with your doc or his nurse.....Angel Huggs and Prayers Judy G wrote:

Thats what the nurse said.....if you take it out to soon, you'll have NIG problems... Ive always been kind of heavy there the past few years.but not like this...my arm is almost at a 45 degree angle.....trying to keep it off of my body....I wonder why we get this way?

Hey..I have a question for all of you.........

Ever sense I was diagnosed....some of my friends seems to have just vanished......friends on the net Ive talked to for years..I haven't done a lot of whinnying to them.mostly only here...Mostly only saying Im ok...to them....

Do any of you run across this?
