No, it is a garment that you receive when you go thru the temple..

it is white underwear really......the only time you take them off is to bathe....

Hold your arm up as far as you can and massage (very very gently) from finger tips as far to shoulder as you can and gently pull accross the chest to the other side....the fluids are collecting in your arm....I forgot did you have lymph nodes removed....the lymph nodes is what gets rid of the fluids and if you had any removed the fluids stay in the arm....this is what the lymphodema nurse had me to do and gave me a lot of exercises to do but have lost my sheet....but the best bet is to check with your doc or his nurse.....Angel Huggs and Prayers Judy G wrote:

Hi Judy,

I'm feeling pretty good. Thanks for your good thoughts, etc.... Just

got back from my appt at UMass. I actually only met with the Director

or the BC Clinic and an oncologist. He wants his pathologists to look

at and interpret the slides (which I brought with me). So I go back

again next Wednesday to meet with the rest. He did do an exam and

look at the xrays, as well as the reports from the other drs.

Interestingly, he wasn't as concerned about the margins (at least not

at the moment!). He felt the next step would be to have chemo and

radiation, which is a given no matter what. Then if I really need

more surgery, we'll discuss it after.

He seems very upbeat. My husband and I both liked him very much.

He's going to take over my case as of now. I am encouraged after

seeing him. It's the only dr appt I've had that I didn't cry at!

Which is a big accomplishment itself!

I go to Chemo.Oct 22 and just a minute ago......received the call for the rad dept...I go meet with them Oct 4th.

Lynn.your hubby went with you huh? I am so glad of that. Like I told my hubby........we are sitting there like a deer caught in the head lights of a car. It is good to have a clear set of ears with.

Hold your arm up as far as you can and massage (very very gently) from finger tips as far to shoulder as you can and gently pull accross the chest to the other side....the fluids are collecting in your arm....I forgot did you have lymph nodes removed....the lymph nodes is what gets rid of the fluids and if you had any removed the fluids stay in the arm....this is what the lymphodema nurse had me to do and gave me a lot of exercises to do but have lost my sheet....but the best bet is to check with your doc or his nurse.....Angel Huggs and Prayers Judy G wrote:
