Guest guest
Okay but what is the ANSWER TO THIS? My doctor doesn't seem to know. He keeps reinforcing that I MUST use the P if I'm using any E! So what is the short answer? Not take P? Guest guest
You must use P if you use E. Period. The issue is how to use P with the fewest negative symptoms. P cream, however, is a different animal. Val -----Original Message-----From: rhythmicliving [mailto:rhythmicliving ]On Behalf Of He keeps reinforcing that I MUST use the P if I'm using any E! Guest guest
Val.... That says it all!! Sorry for " SCREAMING " headlines here, gals...it is just that I think we are all coming to some very important understandings and conclusions, and I would be remiss if anyone in our group skips over the points we have all fought so hard to find!! Guest guest
Yes. I was getting a migraine once a week and nauseous every day. Today is one of those days. I used P cream all last month. > You must use P if you use E. Period. The issue is how to use P with the > fewest negative symptoms. Guest guest
I switched to OO P and thought that using 2 drops at a time would be okay. Wrong. So I thought the OO was too strong for me and had the natural base P cream made up. As I was saying yesterday, I think I will ask to go on Crinone now. I think that even if I get a P cream made up at 12.5 mg per line, I'll still feel sick. > , why do you keep using the P cream? > > Val > > -----Original Message----- > From: rhythmicliving > [mailto:rhythmicliving ]On Behalf Of > > > Yes. Guest guest
! Go for it!! (Crinone) It sounds like you are in Hormonal Hell!! The vaginal form of delivery,I think, is all that is left for us...or more probably, is all that we should have been doing in the first place, with our BHRT!! WITH doc's OK, of course!! :) Love, Carolyn --- wrote: > I switched to OO P and thought that using 2 drops at > a time would be > okay. Wrong. Guest guest
...then I will quote an excerpt from Vliet's original book, page 439: " The KEY is not what DOSE you are taking, but what level of estradiol is produced in your body from what you are taking " . Now, taking that quote to its logical conclusion, the reality is also that it is not only blood levels, but also HOW YOUR BODY IS REACTING TO THOSE BLOOD LEVELS! In the reading of Vliet, she often refers to examples of women she had in her clinic, where one would do just fine on 80 pg/ml for a certain condition, and another would need, say, 130 pg/ml in order to effect the systemic results sought. And, of course, a lot also depends on our age and how close or far we are from early menopause, ie, how much natural estradiol is still circulating, and so forth! And of course, some ancient docs still refuse to go by anything other than symptoms...which they THEN tell us are all " in our heads " anyway!!! By the way, I will be bringing a printout of that quote from Vliet to my new doc...I have already sent her 40 odd pages of studies ahead of time, mailed in one of those USPS Priority cardboard 9 x 12 envelopes - just to attract her attention from all the other mail she gets. This will be quite interesting...and I STILL am not sure if she will take me seriously, or fight me! Carolyn --- wrote: > Maybe I need this.
