Hello Rod,

'pa' is the abbreviation for 'pro analysis', which means that the substance

is of the most pure quality. I thought that the same abbreviation is used in

Spanish, i.e. 'p.a.' (= pro análisis), but maybe someone else can confirm

that.

Hi Rod,

" pa " stands for " per analisi " , in English you can also say Reagent

Grade. This is actually a rating of the purity of the chemical.

I'm in the same boat! When my daughter was born two years ago (who, by the way,

I am sorry to hear about your daughters hospital stay.

What was she there for? Keegan has a cleft on the left

side of his brain. He is doing fine. Just started

with the seizures though and that is a scary thing to

sit and be helpless while your little one does that.

Well let me know more about your baby. Is she alright

now?

Hi!! Yes, Koti is doing much better now. She had severe acid

reflux which I think we pretty much have under control with Zantac. They

did put her on a feeding pump- and were having her take in 12 hour feeds

and was still vomiting in the mornings. I told the Dr it was too much for

her- she wouldnt budge so I put her 5-1 hour feeds a day, and she is

doing great. Sometimes we know better than the docs! I better go, I have

so much housework to do it will probably take the rest of the weekend to

get caught up! I hope to hear from you soon.

Oh boy, Shirley, I am so glad your mom is OK. What a scary experience! Your

poor dad must have been beside himself. My husband worries about the doors

being shut to keep the strangers out and has begun to sometimes lock the

bathroom door. Thanks for the reminder - I'm going to ask the handyman how

to disable those locks!! I've gotten in but it is time consuming, and I

worry about falls and being unable to get to him timely. Cheryl

I had a similar situation at the nh yesterday. A husband visits his

wife (her with Alzheimers) every day. I couldn't help myself and had to

comment. He sits with her on the couch and she nestles in his arms and

sleeps so very comfortable and safe. Not a care in the world. I

commented and said she is very lucky to have him. He told me they will

be married 71 yrs next month and her love is the same to him. Wow, what

an inspiration!!!! I told him I notice how tightly and securely he

holds her and he is a true inspiration to all that see them together.

The world is a luckier place for you being here also Shirley. Just to

know you are so caring and compassionate toward people, their struggles

and accomplishments. This has given me peace just knowing you live in

the same world as I.........thank you for that!!! Best of luck to you

and your brothers wedding. I truly hope all is well with you and your

family. The weather is turning more beautiful every day with all the

colors...........every day is a gift!!!

Thank you Sandie,

I feel the same about you and others on this site. Maybe that's one of God's

answers as to " why " . I know myself that I have a lot more compassion and

understanding for people since this LBD thing towards others. Even though I

alway's knew that people all have their own share of problems, I could never

fully appreciate it until now. I know about death and loss but never knew

what this type of loss was all about until now.
