Guest guest
Do you have their catalog? It is right in the back where all of the cello supplies are-don't have it on hand right near my puter but I think it was offered in 3 different sizes. Guest guest
Hi Deb, Good to read your update. I was wondering how your daughter was doing. My heart breaks for her but it sounds as though she is doing okay. Will certainly keep her in my prayers for a full recovery. seemed to enjoy Christmas. I think it is great that he could sort out his piles of gifts. I can't offer any answers to your questions but just wanted to let you know I was thinking of you and your family. Guest guest
Deb Glad to hear you got home OK. If you get a chance some time tomorrow, would you be kind enough to post your lotion recipe that you made at the gathering? No hurray....but I'm gathering the nerve to tackle lotion and since I've heard so many nice comments about yours, I'd love to try it. That was one of the things I was looking forward to the most at the gathering and then I ended up having to miss it. :>( Thanks Re: Debs Demo I had Bob try some of Deb's lotion which was hard because he never likes to put on lotion. His hands get all cracked and then split open from automotive painting all day but he refuses to do anything about it. He rubbed the lotion in and said, " Now here's a lotion I would use. " This is a HUGE compliment coming from him, Deb!! Since Shaye's husband rated it I asked Bob to rate it too. He said he'd give it a 8-9 and asked me when I was going to be making some. H. Guest guest
Well, let's see.... I've been ruining M & P for just about 2 yrs., now. I've made- but that's no testament to QUALITY!- bath salts of all kinds, lip balm, solid perfumes, Dream Pillows, sugar scrubs, lotion bars, small amounts of potpourri, done the oil-shea mix [badly].......... What I do BEST is ordering!!! LOL Deb > Deb how long you been doing MP soaps?? Do you also do other B & B stuf? > Hugz > Shaye > > >
Guest guest
Shaye- I already boiled an ounce of M & P this a.m. Honestly. I got confused between the water for my cocoa & my soap, and caught if after about 45 seconds and the weird smell. But the cocoa is only an excuse. I CAN tell you that if you boil the M & P, it makes a harder bar! ROTFLMHO!!! My CC. Does anyone here make custom jumpsuits in green or orange. I'll call to find out what the local colors are... Now that you mention it, I'll pay my CC bill online. See how easy it is to screw it up! LOL Hugs back! Deb > Deb, Im sure you havnt been ruining anything! Guest guest
Thank you for all the great info. Some of that post transplant info. raises some ?'s, doesn't it? Liz Yes it does and the medical information I post in reference to transplant and post transplant issues is what many people don't want to hear about or face the truth about but it is reality that we all must accept. I sit here and think about all the HCV medical info and static messages we post and how many are actually read by members. I hope and pray they are read and members understand the important facts about HCV for their own welfare. Love and Hugs. Deb
Guest guest
Deb & Liz... Thanks for posting so much great info, as always. I don't know about anyone else, but I do read most of them and do my best to understand. Some days I just go into overload and ignore them, or my tiny brain refuses to retain the info... just don't cope sometimes I guess. But, without the info you are so great about supplying I really would be lost and at the mercy of the doctors. At least now I am beginning to be able to make more informed choices. THANK YOU! Guest guest
Thank You so much. It's all worth it if only one person is supported and helped. I just get very frustrated at the medical profession and their lack of informing people with HCV about all the important facts and issues. Dr's still sugar coat and down play everything. They are still taught to only tell their chronically ill patients just enough to not alarm them or make them loss hope. I want the truth and I want it now. Love and Hugs. Guest guest
Hi Gail i'm in Canada to. A few years back they changed how we donate. Used to be you put the sticker on your drivers licence and carried a little card. On it you could designate 1)if you wanted to donate only certain organs that someone could use or 2)use it for scientific research. I simply wrote on the card I had hep c. Apparently they found to many relatives could fight against your wishes (I know hard to believe) So with the new system you mail in your wishes. Problem is there's no choices to make. I called them and asked what to do and they more or less said tough luck. I couln't believe it, so I fiqured if I couldn't donate I started a one woman campain to get everyone I knew signed up. Took the pamphlets into work etc. This was a few years back but I don't think it's changed. I'll see if I can find a site for them. Take care, eh Barb > I live in Canada.I would like to donate my organs but I don't want to sign a > card unless it is put on that I have been infected with Hep C.A patient that > is sick enough to need an organ sure doesn't need to get mine and end up > sicker, but a person that already has hep c and needs the organ it will help > them for awhile until they can be treated or get a better liver.I hate to > see it go to waste.Perhaps can tell me what I can do, in Canada. Guest guest
Hi , I don't know, I have never done either. I think first let's find out how many are interested by a poll. If there are enough people interested, include in the poll how much are they per piece, and how many do each of us want. If we could come up with 1000 then do a pre-buy. We mail in the money first according to how many we each want and hopefully it would come to 1000 and then we or you should I say purchase them. Postage and mailing them to us,they can be weighted and an invoice sent according to individual amounts. Any body have any other ideas? Deb airless lotion bottles Hi, I also went to the site looking at those airless pumps, what a great item. I too would be interested in purchasing some with a group. I really don't think with all of us that we would have much trouble purchasing 1000, even if we made the offer to other groups we belong to. So who and how do we get this ball rolling? Deb in Oregon. Guest guest
Deb Yup, I agree about everyone paying ahead. I doubt that I could afford to dish out the money for all the bottles and then get reimbursed. Who knows, once I finally get the price from the company I may decide that the price is too high anyways. I might find that the blue capped ones on that site Soapsandthings is a better buy even though I'd rather have a clear cap. If I don't hear anything by tomorrow afternoon from Pumpking regarding prices & quantities, I'll definitely give them a call. Thanks Re: Deb Hi , I don't know, I have never done either. Guest guest
, Well let us know what you find out, I don't think many of us could afford to buy so many at once. But your right, before we get all excited we should see how much they are. If they are to expensive the idea is out the window. I swear, some times I do think I pay more for the packaging then the ingredients and some times that's more than I should do but I can't help it. It's so much fun!!!! Guest guest
Hi Deb You should pipe in more often. I think I did order those jello molds a year or two ago and have no idea what I did with it. Anyways, the large eggs I had gotten from the Dollar Tree worked out great. Egg Mold Hi I don't pipe up very often but I must tell you that last summer at a garage sale I found for a quarter a egg Jello mold. Didn't know what I would do with it at the time. Can't remember if I was making soap then.. Any way, it makes the absolute best soap mold, easy to pour into and very easy to get the soap out. I have even layered colors. Best buy for a quarter. Now the GOOD news. www.Jello.com has these same wonderful little egg molds for sale for $3.50 I think. It sure would save you alot of grief. I wish I could make it to your summer get together this. It sounds like alot of fun and will be very informative. Could some one possibly take notes and pass information on to us who can't attend? Happy Soaping!! Deb H. Guest guest
Deb, sorry it took me so long in getting back to you, I just haven't had the opportunity to follow up on my e-mail... Bigemeny is when your heart is skipping every other beat. Mine goes into that rhythm and will stay there for hours (sustained). I feel very light headed and tired when I am in bigemeny--not to mention the bizarre fellings that comes with it. Hope that answers your question...it is not a life threatening rhythm, just irritating as all get out! Take care! Guest guest
Deb; I want you to feel free to post anything you would want to read on this Board. I enjoyed reading your post and I cried along with him and beleived most of what he beleived. I mostly beleive that we should be free enough in this country to pray whenever and to whomever we want. As a School Board Member (I know this will get me into trouble, as it has before), I beleive prayer in school should not be organized, out of respect for all those religions out there. I know there are people who say in American, talk American, in American, pray to God. I kind of beleive that, but if I go to another country, and I cannot speak the language, should I not go and spend my money there as a tourist, because I cannot speak the language?? Food for thought. Please Deb do not feel sorry for what you innocently sent. Please Bobby, don't just watch from the side lines. Only a couple of people really got bent out of shape about this and blew it up - the rest of us are here to support each other. Well I wish I could have expressed all this as well as Bill or Duff can, but here it is. ~guin
Guest guest
Heyyyyyyy Patty Pooh I'm home and Mel too still waiting for this damn thing to turn more northward. They lifted the evacuation status for us. We hate to see any city take a direct hit and people put in danger but at the same time no one wants it to come there way. It's so sad we sit, hope and pray it takes the expected turn away from us and goes to other cities and those people are praying we get a direct hit. It looks like Mobile - Pensacola areas are going to get hit the hardest. All Casinos in Biloxi are shut down. This is the first time Mobile has ever needed to order a mandatory evacuation. They are predicting only tropical storm winds and tides for us. Devin went in for 6pm tonight and will probably be off at 6am tomorrow morning if it does turn enough away from us as they said it would. We are all fine. Thanks for asking Toots. I'm going night night. Love Ya. Deb
Guest guest
Praying for you, your family and everyone in danger. Please take care and hope Devin can get some rest through this. Love, SuSie -- Hi Gang and Danny in Key West Danny - Buddy how are you in Key West - Still raining from Katrina ??? It looks like it's time for us in south La to evacuate again. Hurricane Katrina is a very strong storm with the projected path right over me on Lake Pontchartrain and passing very close to Mel's home. My daughter Mel the kids and Chase are already in central La for the weekend at her in-laws house and will stay there. I decided not to leave the city and go with Mel cause I don't know how long I would need to stay away or what I would have left to come back to since I face the lake and will take the full brunt of it. We still aren't sure what is going on with me and how lowering my prograf is affecting me. I still don't feel up to par with added stuff going on and feel safer staying in the city with my TP Team and Hospital. I have enough meds and with the added stress I'm thinking about upping my prograff back to full dosage again if it hits bad here. If it continues on the projected path me and Rat Dog will go with my daughter-in-law Amy and the baby to her parents condos in New Orleans on the 2nd and 3rd floors across from Square and the Miss River. I should get some very interesting photos from up there. My son Devin is a police officer and on duty for the duration in the middle of it all. It's a damn shame when we need to evacuate a curfew goes into place cause people stay behind to brake in - loot and steal what they can. Mel called and is very upset cause she wants me to be with them. I need to secure all my stuff staying behing and pack up what's coming with me. Damn I'm pooped already just thinking about it. I'll be in touch when I can. Don't worry I'm a little short shit with great big built in water wings. Carry on doing the great job of supporting and being there for each other. Love and Hugs. Take Care and God Bless Us All. Deb
