Hi Matt and welcome.

A & nbsp;really good start is to read the group files. Save them and print to read

later. Also get a list of vaccine ingredients from the NVIC website and just go

through the list ticking off the ingredients you wouldn't/would like to inject

into your daughter.

Get the posts in digest form in the meantime, so you aren't overwhelmed with

information.

Vaccinations

Date: Saturday, May 31, 2008, 2:44 AM

hi everyone

Im a new member to this forum and looking for advice and help. Im a

new parent to a beautiful baby girl and worried about vaccinating

her. Ive done the research ... and to be honest while Ive had a brief

look at the posts on this site it is taking too long to go through

them... my computer is slow!

Im aware of vaccine damage, but my doctor assures me that this was

the result of mercury in the injections and all no longer contain

mercury. Is this the case? Im wondering if the serious adverse

effects are a thing of the past, particularly for pertussis. (I know

the jury is still out re MMR and its link to autism)

I guess what Id like to know are there any members who have a

personal experience of adverse reactions, what they were , what the

vaccine was and when the vaccination was. I realise youve probably

all heard this before but it may be of use to other newish members.

The other thing that may be useful....Im not sure if its possible...

but perhaps as a group we could come up with a database of adverse

effects experienced for new members to view.

I know Im asking a huge favour...but would appreciate any info you

could give

Thanks

Hi, Matt. Congratulations on your new daughter! Good for you to question vaccine

safety. Yes, it is a lot of info to go through. I suggest if your computer is

slow, you might be better off getting some books for now. There are some great

ones out there with info organized in a more streamlined fashion than a question

and answer forum. I would start with anything by Neil .

Anyway, I find it interesting that your doctor is saying vaccine damage was

caused by mercury. Good of him/her to acknowledge that. However, that also means

that once upon a time this same doc assured previous parents that those

mercury-containing vaccines were safe. Can you trust his/her judgment regarding

vaccines now?

Funny you mention pertussis. My older sons were given the old " whole cell "

pertussis vaccine. I was told it was perfectly safe. Several years later the

" safer " acellular pertussis vaccine came out. Just like your doc, mine assured

me the new one was better--same doc who assured me the " bad " one was safe. Trust

shattered.

Second, serious adverse effects are on the rise, as are the number of vaccines

given. Check out the nvic.org site for many stats on that.

Third, the jury is not still out on the autism/MMR connection, nor on the

mercury/autism connection. You just have to decide whom you want to believe,

those who have billions to lose or those who don't.

Good luck!

Oh, and you did ask: my son was healthy until his MMR. No, he did not become

autistic, thank God. But he was instantly plagued by ear

infections/asthma/allergies and by age 2 1/2 had pneumonia and was barely

eating. By three, I realized the pediatricians were making him worse with their

treatments and I changed my views on health care. He's now 18 and fine--no

thanks to the peds who almost killed him with their poisons.

Autism is but one thing to worry about. Poor health and death are a couple of

others.

Hi n-

Welcome to our group to you, too! I am currently going to WW (have lost 37 of my 60 lbs with them) and am walking and wogging every-other-day (half walking/half jogging), doing various exercise videos for my exercise. I have 80 more lbs to lose. I was going to Curves, but couldn't get past the boredom after 2+ years there, so just quit my membership. Plan is to join the gym my work sponsors in the fall when it starts to cool down and time to come indoors for exercise LOL!! Or, after taking a 6-12 month break at Curves, I may rejoin that too - we'll see.....

Hi Mark,

Welcome to the group. Wow, great post. It sounds like you're on the

right track. Garlic is supposed to help make you repulsive to the

bugs. I've also heard that it's good to take vitamin C with the salt.

Other supplements that some of us have tried with good results are

milk thistle, colloidal silver, and oxygen tablets (sorry I don't know

the brand name). I am currently taking pantothenic acid and I think

that is making alot of difference as well. My bugs are nearly gone,

and I've been struggling for almost a year now. It took me a long

time to figure out that I had mites, not fleas. You're ahead of the

curve.

I think coffee is okay. Others might disagree, but I think coffee

without any sweetener should be okay. I drink decaf with a small

amount of real coffee. The diet I'm following now, a lyme diet, says

that coffee and water are okay, but not tea. If the cranberry juice

is clearing out the problem in your urethra, even if it's a placebo

effect, you might want to stick with it until your problem clears up.

Steam cleaning helps, as long as the steam is hot enough. The steam

coming out should be at least about 160 degrees. If the steam isn't

hot enough, it might make the problem worse because it will just hatch

the bugs and not destroy eggs. The very high temperature is supposed

to destroy eggs.

When you use the cedarcide product, if it's the Best Yet, you should

apply it and then let everything sit for at least a week before you

start doing something else. I've had good luck with the Best Yet.

I've used it twice in my place, and most of the bugs are gone, but

there are some stragglers. I don't clean very much, I'm a lousy

housekeeper.

Exercise is good. Several months ago, I decided to make exercise a

higher priority than cleaning, and that was a good decision for me.

The primary problem for me has been the infestation in my skin, and

exercising helped me more than cleaning.

Moving to a different climate can help. Where do you live now? A

humid place? A dry climate is supposed to be good, and high altitude.

One of the posters moved to a high altitude at one point and her

problem cleared up. I don't recall how high up she moved, but it was

somewhere in Utah.

My other suggestion to you is that you pay especial attention to your

clothes, shoes, and towels, and figure out how to sanitize them so you

don't keep reinfecting yourself with those items that touch your skin.

You can steam your shoes to kill the bugs. Also, you need to seal up

your cloth items in bags or bins. Don't leave them sitting in your

closet or dresser because they'll get totally infested in there.

I hope you can get out of this situation quickly.

many of your suggestions as I can.

had success with salt, how have you consumed it? I am putting it on

my food (one to two teaspoons a meal, three teaspoons a day which

equals one tablespoon). Is it better to take it all at once? If so,

do you dissolve it in water and drink it? Has anyone tried salt and

found that it didn't help?

>

cranberry juice. I remembered that people sometimes drink cranberry

juice to cure urinary-track infections. I am drinking at least a

bottle a day (which is not cheap and puts some carbohydrates back into

my diet). Before I started drinking it, I felt like I was getting a

lot of " activity " in the urethra (sorry for being so explicit) and the

juice has seemed to reduce this. However, this might be a placebo

effect and I don't want to take in the carbohydrates if it isn't

really helping. Has anyone else tried cranberry juice?

purchased a high heat steamer/sanitizer. Has anyone had any success

with high heat steamers? I also ordered CedarCide. I am going to

necessary, I will have my entire place repainted. Of course,

I am perfectly willing to destroy every last thing I own and to

move to get past this affliction but, from what I am reading here, I

fear this isn't going to help much.

Hi everyone

My name is Brigitte and I am a mom to three children  My first two were

vaccinated and the last one was not.  She was given a Vit K shot though, at the

time I didn't think a vitamin shot would do any harm but as I have read some of

the emails it looks like it could have some adverse reactions.  Luckily she had

none at the time besides having yellow jaundice for nearly three weeks after

birth.

We have recently moved from South Africa to the UK and I have joined this group

to gather information from others experiences.  Being new in the UK, I would

like to know how the Health system treats people who don't want to vaccinate, do

they refuse to treat you or do you have to try and find a GP who is pro not

vaccinating(if there are any), can they force you in any way, really I just want

to know my rights.

Also a question that has been on my mind, do pharmaceutical companies actually

know that the vaccines they are making are damaging the human body at cell level

in order for them to make money from both the vaccines and the treatment one

gets when ill.  Am I understanding this correctly?

Sorry for all the questions.

In anticipation,

Brigitte

Hi Brigitte,

The invite is on its way. :o)

My name is Brigitte and I am a mom to three children My first two were

the time I didn't think a vitamin shot would do any harm but as I have read

some of the emails it looks like it could have some adverse reactions.

Luckily she had none at the time besides having yellow jaundice for nearly

three weeks after birth.

We have recently moved from South Africa to the UK and I have joined this

group to gather information from others experiences. Being new in the UK, I

would like to know how the Health system treats people who don't want to

vaccinate, do they refuse to treat you or do you have to try and find a GP

who is pro not vaccinating(if there are any), can they force you in any way,

really I just want to know my rights.

***Doctors in the UK receive bonus payments for achieving vaccination

*targets*. The more they vaccinate, the more bonuses they get. Three or four

years ago it was rumoured that these financial incentives were going to stop

but they haven't yet.

***Having said that (which implies a motivation for giving you a hard time),

I think doctors in the UK are probably more flexible with parents who don't

wish to vaccinate than elsewhere. That at least is my experience. While they

make a lot of noise about it, much of it is just bluster and if you are

assertive and make it quite clear that your mind is not for changing, you

should be left alone. Depending on how old your children are, you may get

invitations to have them vaccinated when children are traditionally offered

boosters - just before they start school, for example. We were told that we

had no *social conscience* by our health visitor because we firmly said we

were not vaccinating, but the doctors we've dealt with have all just given

us strange looks and left us alone. One paediatrician laid into me when dd

was admitted to hospital with suspected uncontrolled asthma one time, but

that's the only doctor who has openly questioned our choices. They cannot

force you, and to be honest, they don't really go out of their way to make

trouble for non-vaxing parents. Just be firm and confident in your decision

and let them know it.

***Vaccination is not mandatory in the UK - although there have been rumours

of making the MMR compulsory for school entrance - and hopefully it will

stay that way. There are support groups for parents that choose not to

vaccinate - if you are in the south of the UK, you might like to look at www

arnica.org.uk for local groups. The group in Kingston is very active, I

understand.

Also a question that has been on my mind, do pharmaceutical companies

actually know that the vaccines they are making are damaging the human body

at cell level in order for them to make money from both the vaccines and the

treatment one gets when ill. Am I understanding this correctly?

***My answer to your question would be, yes. They know. And I don't think

they care.

Cynical or what? ;o)

Welcome to the list.

I'm sure at some level they know.

Probably individual researchers who don't see the whole picture don't know.

I think one of the biggest reasons we do it so much here in the states is

because of appearances....because the daddy is then the son has to be....

and the *fear* of UTI's...

I never really thought about not circ my son until the incident with his

pedi when he was born....but now, I am very glad that it happened and that

we did not circumcise...I know of a friends baby that is disfigured and

another friend that her baby had bad complications....I am very against

circs now...unless you are Jewish.....I see no reason to do it.

Hi,

I just joined. I don't have 100 pounds to lose anymore, but I have

about 40 more to go. I have lost about 150 so far. I don't really

know where I started my weight loss journey, because my scale only went

to 330 and I ERR that out for a long time! I officially started

counting the pounds when I FINALLY stepped on the dr. scale after

losing several sizes in clothes. I was 297. I am now about 180.

I joined to get motivation on losing the last 30-40 pounds as I have

been at a stand still for about a year and it is driving me nuts. I

also have some issues with my " new body " and would like to know if

other that are losing weight have issues!

Thanks for the welcome, Sapphyre.

I officially started the weight loss journey in May of '05 after going into the dr. with severe back pain and headaches. They tried to take an x-ray, but I was too big. I would have to go to the hospital where their x-ray machines were stronger. THAT was humiliating... THEN, the same visit she took tests and was diagnosed with diabetes and also high blood pressure and high cholesterol. It was awful. Here I was, not even 38 and was on medication for high blood pressure, diabetes, anxiety, sleep, depression and soon to be on medication for cholesterol. I couldn't even walk down to the office at school without being in severe pain with my back. I had to sit down when I was outside supervising kids at recess. It was terrible.

As part of my diabetes education, I went to classes on nutrition and saw a dietician that talked to me about portion control. (YIKES! You mean one SLEEVE of Girl Scout thin mints isn't a serving size?) I did low carb, but didn't really follow any diet like south beach or atkins. I switched from white rice to brown... regular pasta to whole wheat... white potatoes to sweet.

I started doing Sansone WATP videos. I started off by only being able to do 1/2 mile of the 2 mile tape... I worked up to actually doing the 5 mile tape a few times a week. I exercised at least 30 minutes 5-6 times a week. I found "getting it out of the way" in the morning worked best.

After losing about 70 pounds, I stalled. I joined WW and lost about 40 more pounds. When I started using my points for ice cream and cookies I figured I needed to switch it up again. I joined Craig and lost another 40 pounds, although it was pretty slow.

Now, I have been gaining and losing the same 10 pounds for the last year. I have had a lot of changes in my life during the last year, so I am blaming stress for some of the rollercoastering, but I know I have fallen off the healthy portions wagon and snack way too much now. AND I don't exercise as often.

On a side note, I am no longer on any meds. After losing a lot of the weight, I was taken off the high blood pressure and diabetes meds. I weaned myself off the anti-depressants and anxiety meds and I have been sleeping much better ever since I got married. (I think a lot of my anxiety and sleep problems were fear of the night because of past abuse issues.)

Sorry so long. I tried to be brief.

Where in Minnesota are you from? My husband grew up in a small town north of Mankato. Dacia<>< Jesus said, "Peace I leave with you; my peace I give you. I do not give to you as the world gives. Do not let your hearts be troubled and do not be afraid."
