Charlotte....one piece of advise.....to help you stay motivated and

moving in the right direction....KEEP THOSE BEFORE PHOTOS VISIBLE TO

YOU!!! That will help you see what you'd like to change. Next, like

all the others have said...you MUST do this for you. To make you a

better person and to give your kids a positive role model with

positive minds and attitudes.

I'm a divorced mom of 2 beautiful girls and I'm quite aware of all

the horrible tricks life can play on you. Make this a change only for

you...no getting back at anyone but instead...taking you to a great

and POSITIVE place in your life from which...you can take care of

your kids and yourself.

Try to keep focused on becomming a better person via exercise, a

change in your eating habits, focusing on your inner self, being

happy with yourself and not holding grudges (as hard as it may seem

sometimes)...letting go of bitterness and rising ABOVE the hostility

and anger can really be GREAT for the heart and mind.

Take it from one who knows.

I'll try really hard to remember to give you my weight info every

friday.............if not feel free to hunt for me and I'll give it

to you pronto!

As far as personal goals I really don't have anything I want to keep

track of particularly..............I watch what I eat everyday and

drink my water, I also exercise faithfully everyday so I've already

got those bases covered..............If I have to have a personal

goal though to do the challenge then just let me know and I'll come

up with something...................thank you so much for doing this

hun..............you are such a sweetheart!!!

days a week -- at the time and pace that my training calls for. That will

hey merritt you can add 40 min. of exercise mon-fri. and atleast 100oz of water a day to my goals. thank you!

that is a huge commitment sue... it is not about just weighing in. i wish you the best and look forward to hearing about your marathon!

You don't have to have a personal goal...the whole reason I thought

about it is that it will be nice to have a second goal...in case you

don't make one of them and because I thought it would be nice to have

a goal that doesn't focus on a fickle scale but on overall improving

health...so it's completely up to you...I am having trouble fitting

exercise into my schedule right now so thats my goal...sounds like

you have all that covered...and thats great....

LOL Mert we are going to have to call you Sarge too I am so excited about starting this Challenge today. I am feeling so great about it all. I know I will have my hard days where I don't want to crawl out of bed and do my work out. But that's okay. I will just come and tell you all that I am having one of them days and I KNOW that you will all tell me to get my hinny moving

I've been really slacking with working out lately. I've been sick on and

off since Thanksgiving. Now that I'm feeling better I need a kick in the

butt to get back into the swing of things. I think a Challenge is a great

idea, and what a great way to start off the new year. Count me in. What

day are you planning on starting??

I'd like to join in as well, I really need to increase my daily

activity level to help with my increasing appetite (because of the

weight training). I won't be able to do taebo everyday (I lose my

workout area because of the inlaws next week), but any form of

moderate activity for a minimum of 30 minutes per day would probably

do (ie the gym, jogging outside, xcountry skiing if we get a

snowfall,...)
