yes I have had DSstep on a nail. Out of all the diseases tetnus doesnt scare

me I dont know why but I never htink of it. Tetnus is everywhere dust, soil,

some I have read got it from being pricked by a thorn But not sure where I

read that.

The key with tetnus is make sure IT BLEEDS squeeze it what ever you have to

do to make it bleed. And I know homeopathic remedy is helpful when a case

that could transmit tetnus is involved. And if worst is worst you can give

tetnus shot at time of injury. I cant remeber the specific name of it I am

sure someone alot more knowledgeable will respond. ALso check out Sherris

have decided that my 7 week old will have no vex and my 3 yr old no

more vax but I was wondering what other non vaxing families out there

have done regarding accidents. Have any of you had a child cut

themselves with something dirty etc and did you have them get the

tetanus then, when they were actually at risk of it or did you do

something else?

Also have you taken non vaxed babies swimming at all? I am a bit

concerned about the polio vax.

dirty then I will have the wound tested for Tetanus. If it is

positive,then I will get the shot.

My baby had the polio at 2 months non since. She is in the pool once a

week

Not necessarily. It has to be an awfully DEEP wound for tetanus.

As far as I know, a tetanus shot at the time of injury is pointless, unless you

have had earlier shots. The formation of antibodies is relatively slow, so I

dont think it is useful.

My understanding of tetanus is it has to be really deep and very dirty and

nasty. But Ihavent done much research on this yet, just what I heard ...

We don't vax and won't vax for either tetanus or polio either. Polio is

basically extinct..the only reported cased of polio in the US in the last 20

years have been from the Polio vax. As far as the tetanus goes..we live

with it daily and you don't see people dying from it. The key to wounds is

for the wound to bleed....if it bleeds it can not develop tetanus. Read

Shari's website about the tetanus and the polio ....she has lots of info.

Sandy's site is really good as well. You can also search the archives and

find tons on Tetanus because this one is always being discussed.

I dont understand the connection between polio and swimming? We go

any chance we get weather permitting.(One kid was vaxed to 18 months,

one none at all)But all the cases of polio in the states since at

least the early 70s have been CAUSED by the live virus in the vax

(oral) So, no I dont really worry too much about that one.

Its the tetanus antitoxin.

And I'm a little ticked, I just had my horse gelded, and he needed tetanus

(its obviously a deep wound and very likely to get contaminated with manure)

but it only comes in a triple jab (EEE/WEE/Tetanus) Ugh! So now I have the

worry of the vaxes on top of the surgery. I've given him hypericum, aconite

and arnica.

Okay, that is something i hadn't even really thoguht about. Does

said that they dont use the live virus at all anymore, and I said

that I thought they use a combination now. I've been wrong before,

Okay, that is something i hadn't even really thoguht about. Does

Is tetanus in our soil? I cannot find anything that says it is. ALthough

Peyton's Dr says it is. I have found things that say that its in animal

feces,especially Wild animals. Which is why I am figuring it may be in

our soil.

there is no oxygen. Very strange they asked about shots. I've had one son in

ER for head wound requiring stitches and no one questioned me. Probably because

I was with hubby and they figured he was a " dutiful " dad and all up to date!

Laughs on them! My dd also had wisdom teeth removed and no one asked about

then,there, either but I've read about people who were ordered to get a tetanus

vax b4 doc would remove skin tag! Preposterous! They all live in fear of what

they do not know. get to know the diseases and lose your fear. They can be

your friend as they will award lifetime immunity and that is something no vax

can grant. The odd thing about tetanus? I am sure Sheri has it on her

site...there is no such thing as lifetime immunity to tetanus..in other words,

if you get it once, you can get it again. So how in the world do they figure a

vax is going to confer " immunity " ? And they don't know how many vaxxes or how

many boosters will yield that pleasure. They are inside the box and I pity

I'm don't think it's true that fecal material has to be involved in

tetanus. In fact, tetanus is all around us, from what I understand.

However, it needs to be a deep puncture wound that closes up. If it is

exposed to air, it will not grow. In general, bleeding can help clear

it out as will cleansing of the wound site before it closes up.

In UK there is NONE and there is NO single Tetanus vax - they are using the

combo one in the UK -sick

In US none of them are mercury free, although you can still get dT but and

tetanus toxoid usually.

But not without mercury

As you will all start to learn. 'They' really don't have a clue about all

of this.

There is NO diagnostic test for tetanus in a person, so they just diagnose

by the symptoms, which also are similar to poisoning symptoms.
