Guest guest
I am astounded that in your country Rhogam is given during pregnancy. According to the 1998 Rhogam data sheet, it contained gamma globulin, sodium chloride, polysorbate 80, thimerosal and glycine. The 2006 Mercury free data sheet lists sodium chloride, polysorbate 80 and glycine as adjuvants. Polysorbate 80 has been linked to infertility and other disorders - see http://www.whale.to/v/tween_80.html also see http://www.whale.to/vaccines/bayer.html and in particular the response to Bayer's petition for clarification of the proposition 65 listing of " Mercury and Mercury Compounds " as chemicals known to cause reproductive toxicity. http://www.whale.to/vaccines/hgbayer1.pdf This report could and should also be used as evidence against the insanity of poisoning pregnant women with thimerosal-laced flu shots. Ingrid Does anyone know anything about what is in Rhogam besidews the blood product? I am concerned that there may be an adjuvant. ------------------------------------

Guest guest
studies haven't even been done in pregnant women yet given in pregnancy current anti-d products are supposed to not contain mercury but must read package insert to be sure (may be something old from off the shelf or a product that does contain it.) Here is some on RhoGam http://www.abopharmaceuticals.com/ProductSheets/RhoGAM_MICRhoGAM.pdf The final product contains approximately 5 ± 1% gamma globulin, 2.9 mg/mL sodium chloride, 0.01% polysorbate 80 and 15 mg/mL glycine. Small amounts of IgA, typically less than 15 ìg per dose, are present.9 The pH range is 6.20-6.55. The product contains no preservative and utilizes a latex-free delivery system. Pregnancy Category C Animal reproduction studies have not been conducted with RhoGAM or MICRhoGAM. The available evidence suggests that Rho(D) Immune Globulin (Human) does not harm the fetus or affect future pregnancies or the reproduction capacity of the maternal recipient.18,19 http://www.rxlist.com/rhogam-drug.htm RhoGAM® Ultra-Filtered - 300 g (1500 IU*) MICRhoGAM® Ultra-Filtered - 50 g (250 IU*) (Rho(D) Immune Globulin (Human)) The final product contains approximately 5 ±1% gamma globulin, 2.9 mg/mL sodium chloride, 0.01% polysorbate 80 and 15 mg/mL glycine.
