Guest guest
Hi Ruth, You have already had some excellent advice from those who have just had the experience ! I would honestly go slowly as Kathie did and introduce foods one at a time. It is worth remembering that your stomach wall has been 'fiddled with' and the valve (sphincter) cut so give it time to heal. There are others who with their doctors blessing went and had a hamburger, but I too would rather be safe than sorry. Guest guest
- welcome. What is your son's name? Our daughter Macey is 9 and has CVID which is a combination of immune problems. Has your son had any of the heart related problems from the Di? Is he very allergic to everything? What type of treatment do they have him on? Feel free to ask any questions you may have. I believe we have other families with Di and I know we have some Hyper IgE (aka Job's syndrome) families. Guest guest
Yes, snopes would have the info. I checked that for several other things, including the email from my sis in-law about the ban on religious broadcasting (but that particular one did not mention Dobson). > In a message dated 4/27/2005 10:27:05 AM Eastern Standard Time, > Ksmile96@a... writes: > Isn't there a site where you can find out if this type of emails are legit? > Does someone have it? > isn't it snopes.com? > > Amy M. Guest guest
Anyone know of anything that helps with receding gums? Guest guest
Dawn, I am so excited for you! Drink lots of water to get the sweat going in the sauna. Good Luck, Anita (unknown) Hi Everybody,Thanks Rogene, Patty and Kenda for answering myswollen gland question!I'm waiting around for the ax to fall quite frankly.Reason being, I actually am having a major break fromthe anxiety and depression that I had while I had theimplants. I know I probably sound like a fruit cakehere, but I think I may have been much much moredepressed than I thought. Truthfully, the depressionprobably came before all of the other symptoms... butit was so insidious that I did not even recognize itas depression. For the past three years I just wanted to be alone...I wanted to be around no one, I wanted to do nothing,I wanted zero relationship with my husband. I amactually shocked at the fact that I now yearn to bewith my family, I am excited about life, I feel someof the vigor I had pre implant. I know I am notimagining this, my husband sees it too. We just don'twant to get too excited about this yet since who knowsif it will last. This is a good sign. It goes to show that the implantsreally were wreaking havoc inside my body. I nowbelieve that other symptoms will abate and I have anexcellent shot for recovery.I haven't been able to keep up with the postslately... sorry, I'm sort of out of the loop as towhat's goin' on .. on the board. I will contribute asmuch as I can regarding my recovery.. I want the newgirls to know that they should have hope and that itis not all in their head.By the way, did the sauna at the gym today... gees, just like you guys said.... I was in there for a good15 to 20 mins and barely broke a sweat! Howdisappointing! Oh well, I'll keep trying.Hope you all are doing okay.Hugs,Dawn__________________________________________________
Guest guest
Well Sue I just got back from a meeting with the principal of my elementary school to see if she was open to a half day kindergarten next year for Micah, as an alternative to pre-school wirth aide. The advocate we spoke with suggested talking to her to see how she responded because she could make or break it for Micah. Well no such luck. She didn't seem very happy to see us there as if she had better things to do. I got all the old standby's " Oh he would probably do better in self contained because they can work more one on one with him. " Duh,that's what a resource room is for. Also my personal favorite " Well if he can't keep up with his peers then it would not be the best placement " I said " He will never keep up with his peers. That has nothing to do with the most appropriate placement for him. " She kept saying she started out as a special ed teacher and knows the laws as she worked with a special ed lawyer at one point.. I wanted to say, then do you know " Holland vs. the school board " etc. but I bit my tongue until it bled and played stupid until my CSE meeting. I will now go in and definitely fight for pre-school with teacher consult and KNOW I am looking at a HUGE fight but i am hopping mad right now. So Sue you are not going through this stuff alone. I am too! Loree

Guest guest
If you go to the health food store or order online d-mannose you will throw your bladder meds away. read up on this. a uti is gone in a day or two.kathy [low dose naltrexone] (unknown) I am new here. My family doctor called me and told me to read up about this. This sounds very interesting but I have a number of questions. I am going to see my neurologist mid June and I want to have all the information to discuss with her.I am currently on Betaseron. Do I continue with Betaseron when I start LDN?I am also taking Baclofen (5 pills per day @10mg each pill)I also take Alertec.I also suffer from constant bladder issues (infections etc.) I have gone to a urologist and she percribed Macrobid 100mg every evening.I also take Vitamin C, Evening Primrose Oil & Vitamin D.I am have a pharmacy in my bathroom.Any information you could provide would be appreciated.Thank youAnne-Marie (the email address says Stan but that's my husband)
Guest guest
Hi Anne-Marie Glad your taking the "C" but is it enuf? While you are at the health food store pick up a large bottle of powdered Vitamin "c" then mix a teaspoon full in a glass of Orange juice I figure this is about a gram if you use a smallish teaspoon. Either way if you drink this daily odds are you won't get no more infections plus it's good for ya. Since I wasn't plagued by them anyway I use this as a preventative and it sure keeps one regular.Yep no more worrys bout constapation....... Which means one teaspoon is my limit but at least it's cheap. Betaseron will directly negate the LDN endorphin production so it's a no no on LDN. So get the Drs. copy and the patients copy of the LDN protocol for your Dr. and then Try to see your regular Dr. instead of a Nuerologist as they are way more receptive to alternate means of defeating M.S. Watch the Baclofen carefully,,,, my legs got so weak after a few days on the smallest dose available that I was constantly using my wheel chair now I am here permanently! Probably I was going to be here anyway but it seems I react badly to most meds, even LDN at anything over 3.0 mgs is too much. I think we all have pharmacys in our homes as it goes with the territorykinda like aging and Viagra ) Good luck and best wishes Reg. -- Re: [low dose naltrexone] (unknown) If you go to the health food store or order online d-mannose you will throw your bladder meds away. read up on this. a uti is gone in a day or two.kathy [low dose naltrexone] (unknown) I am new here.
