Hey Everyone,

Hope you are ready for a great week-end..... Jan I have been up, but

I have had no power for 5 hrs. The electric was out in the

neighborhood..... Just getting my coffee and breakfast..... and it is 20

minutes till 1pm.... I am not a happy camper..... My neighbor came and

asked if I had electric and I said no..... Was getting nervous trying to

remember if I paid my bill before I left for Florida!!!!! I was glad he

came over. ;o I will catch up with everyone a lttle later..... Kind of

a bad day for me today..... Gonna go rest and watch TV..... Missed my

show this morning!!!!!!!!!

It was 35 when I came in to work this morning. Not too

bad for this time of year.

I like to be " cautiously " optimistic. I know this is

no sure thing and it can come back, so I don't want to

set myself up for a hard fall. I'll hope for the best

and take whatever I can get. -dz-

Frost here this morning, Dave. That small ocean must help keep the temps up

a little for a while. I know being 20 miles from the Atlantic gives us a

milder winter than 80 miles inland where my folks are. Cold this weekend

though. - Incentive to get the wood in. I'm sure we will use the wood

stove some.

Hi everyone.

Be well,

Dennis

It does give us a little warmth, most years the lake

won't completely freeze over through the course of the

winter. It's 32 right now (8:00)am. -dz-

Good Morning

It's 32 degrees, the air is clear, and we're going for a hike.

I'm going to get my garlic planted today also - even though it is late.

Hi Diane

It may get dark earlier. I'd rather have it get light earlier in the

morning.

I had a biopsy 2 years ago and it was not bad I was not given anything

for pain before or after. It did not hurt some doctors give you some

medication before they do the procedure and others don't it does feel

like you were socked in the stomach for a few mins. other then that it

was not that bad.

Have you been to the OC Foundation site? They have a program to inform

teachers about OCD. I have also bought booklets about OCD from the Dean

Foundation in Wisconsin and handed them out to teachers and counselors. And

the others will probably tell you about IEP's and 504 plans to make

accomodations for your daughter. Look into the archives for the list and you

will find a lot of information that should help you with the schools.

HI THERE, HOPE EVERYONE IS KEEPING WELL AS FOR MYSELF

NOT BAD. I HAD A LIVER BIOPSY IN AUGUST AND THEY

DIDNT GIVE ME ANY KIND OF SEDATIVE OR ANYTHING FOR

PAIN. TO BE HONEST ITS AN UNPLEASANT PROCEDURE AND

ITS WORST THAN A CERVICAL BIOPSY I'VE HAD THAT DONE

TOO IM NOT TRYING TO SCARE YOU JUST BEING HONEST. BUT

I DO SUGGEST YOU ASK THE DOCTOR TO PRESCRIBE A

PAINKILLER OR SEDATIVE FOR DURING THE PROCEDURE TO

RELAX YOU A LITTLE BIT THATS WHAT IM GOING TO DO WHEN

I GO NEXT AUGUST. GOOD LUCK. IM SURE YOU WILL DO FINE.

That's true about getting light earlier ....... I never thought of

it that way. Since I have been on disability I am not out on the road in

the early hours. You do have a point tho'.......Take care and be well ;o

I agree. I don't know if you guys remember, one year

we kept daylight savings time through the winter

during the energy crisis in the '70s, figuring they

would save an hour of lights being on. There were

numerous complaints by parents about sending their

children off to school in the dark. -dz-

I guess I like the regular time since I'm an early riser. I'm usually up at

4:30 AM. 5:30 or 6:00 when I'm off.
