See, a truly " safe, emotional environment " is one where people receive the

an incentive toward EMPOWERMENT and this comes, always, from truth and

responsibility. I'll be silent after this but I'll respond by telling you

that when people support one another in a state of victimization and, also,

where people make suggestions to one another of new illnesses and symptoms

( " Do the veins stick out in your hands like in mine? They never did before

got breast implants. " ), this is NOT healing but is, in fact, an effective

means to remain further focused on negativity and illness. A safe

environment will allow you to learn amd grow and expand your state of mind

and body. In that state, there is acceptance and not all this anger and

vitriole.

Lastly, scientific data needs to be properly prepared, presented and

published in order to be received in a way that evokes change. This would

be

widely available rather than in one surgeon's office. Also, " scientific

evidence " is something more specific than " documents that Dr. Kolb keeps. "

You remember The Scientific Method from your high school science class.

There is that criteria for the methodical conclusion that you want

physicians to form, consistent with the decisions that you state as if

proven fact.

What is it about corporate politics that you do not understand?

Personally I think it a bit naive for any of us to think that the

companies making the implants do not have a conflict of interest

when they fund the safety studies quoted on their sites and

elsewhere, lobby the FDA, pay surgeons, researchers and judges in

any manner....whether with gifts, kickbacks to use their implants,

vacations or with jobs to testify on their behalf or give them any

consideration other than fair, objective consideration. In the very

least it is called " undue influence " .

I am afraid if you do not understand the level of politics at the

top of the corporate and government ladders and the manner in which

it is controlled by such institutions as well as the level at which

it permeates the entire system......you will continue to miss the

point some are trying to make. Your comments speak to that.

This level of politics does exist and yes it very well could have

include the blocking of shipments across the border to Dr. Blais for

any period of time. He is one of the foes of the implant companies.

Do I know for a fact it happened. No. But I know it can easily be

done.

victim of my own decisions, one of which was to have breast implants

inserted into my body. I take full responsibility for that and what

has happened to me. I look for that in my doctor, and others who

help me in my healing journey. That's what I encourage.

I agree with that too. Sherry when you get your implants out and find. MOLD toxins and silicone in your lymph nodes, then we all realized how most doctors left us for dead. Then you lose respect it is only natural for us since we all remained sick as they said, oh no nothing wrong with the implants, there safe. It's total let down.

Welcome to America.

While I thank you for educating me, I am the former founder, president and

CEO of three corporations - all publicly traded - all $100 million

companies - all companies with the unique rights to highly technical, highly

specialized, unique medical and surgical devices. (Molly, on this list,

knows very well a former nine yearemployee of mine.) As such, I surely have

a small amount of insight into corporate politics, the FDA, the requirements

involved in obtaining government approval for implantable devices, medical

I agree this is what implants are, so if doctors are so great why put these in women to begin with. Remember this is what is in your body as you argue with all of us, who try to move on everyday sick from doctors not telling us implants could make us sick. If they would have told us early on, instead of passing the buck, maybe our implants wouldn't have made us so sick. some comments here and made it sound like that. Regardless...I do

believe politics are involved especially in light of the negative

data!. I would be a fool to think otherwise.

But I will ask you...that whether it be purposeful deception or by

controversy or by ignorance...if the end result is the same does it

matter how we got there? There is still harm being done in exchange

Tell them that and how funny and I am not laughing, I was not even prescribed a pain medication. I find that leaving someone for dead. I was treated like an idiot, crazy women on crack if you ask me. How many doctor's in those days, hating to see the stuff on the news about implants making women sick. OH most who was going to loose there big fine homes and big cars if the public were warned, maybe they would not get the damn implants if the news tells them. Sherry once again this is common sense. This is totally crazy, but I am getting good support here being able to vent about most doctors. Maybe Sherry you were never told about the cover up, is this why you got implants? It is not fun to be lied to or stuff hid from you. This is like your boyfriend hiding a girlfriend behind your back, then one day you find her in your bed. Oh no much worse that only makes you angry. They wanted me to go else where that was the PS who acted like that to me, I just paid him $5500.00 for one and a half hours of his time. I bet he wanted me to go somewhere else since he infected me when he did the initial surgery, I found that out to be true on May 24th. He just didn't want to lick his cow over it would have dipped into his $5500.00 1 1/2 hour salary. Wow great money you make there doc. Go buy you a pizza and have a slice on my health. I am sorry I can't stand my old PS for doing this to me and leaving me for dead and laughing in my face. I don't find it a bit funny, in other words I am not laughing over hear.

Amen totally agree with you, very well spoken. It is just a place to vent and seek help for recovery here, not argue that doctors are good or bad. I think the problem is that some doctors go to college to be a doctor because they make the big bucks, instead of going to college to be a doctor to save life's and never do harm. We all should be taken serious no matter how nuts or how upset or how we carry our explanations to a doctor. It should be law and one day trust me Sherry I will clue some of my old doctors in really fast. When I get to feeling better I will seek my payment back from them by going and putting in there face my report and lab test. I then will feel like I got some of my money back that I gave them for nothing. You never know maybe they will take the next girl more serious. I don't want there compensation, I simply want them to do there job, save lives and do no harm. I will have the last word for some of them. One little nurse and a ER doctor I can't wait to have a meeting with them and there over head boss. It may not accomplish a damn thing, but It may save another girls life. To me this is way better than money, this is compassion that they never had for me, when I was scared and felt like death was near. Sis very well said I totally agree with this statement. You want scientific Data, get them implants out of you and see for yourself how many symptoms you loose after a few weeks or as soon as you wake up. I could see the white's of my blood shot eyes. I am now starting not to taste those nasty implants, I don't have a right side thick tongue, (other doctors claimed I made that symptom happen by worrying to much about it) I don't have a rash any longer. I don't have thrush, my white tongue turned red again. I am 3 weeks post explant, there is your scientific data from me.

This is why this silicone, implant catastrophe should be a mandatory education class for them to attend or they loose there license. This is not so difficult to warn doctors of this. They don't want to learn this it would take away there bread and butter. Don't PS have to do further education each year to be a member of the American Board of PS. Oh yea they go to a seminar in the damn virgin islands, somewhere, to golf, drink and pick up chicks. They must of sleep through the learning part.

Are you saying its OK that a PS of 30 years doesn't know what infection is, nor a capsular contracture grade III. I am talking of PS are the ones we should trust and they do know the truth and lie to drive there beemers. I will argue that til I die! If you want silicone they will put it right in you for the money. Never do they say women have gotten sick from them. Same with Saline it is told to be "safe" come on. If you are a physician, why haven't you healed yourself with mainstream

allopathic medicine? What does allopathic medicine have to offer sick,
