Well, im not sure that is the technical name for it but it is a place where

different vendors rent space to sell their wares. You dont necesarly have

to stay there cuz there is a desk up front to ring out. Sort of craftshow

meets giftshop thing. Sad thing is that way too many people have purchased

stuf they just resale. Import items.

Hi Shaye,

Thanks for the welcome!

Can you explain to me what a craftmall is?

Is this a store? or something online?

Thanks,

Lorrie

Shaye,

That is the way it is all over. I was going to be in one in Henrietta (run

by the manager of the place that was closed down last Summer.) Anyways,

she was letting tons of people in with stuff they were just

reselling. When I asked why when it was a craft co-op she said crafters

cannot live on what they handcraft and sell alone and all the big places

allow it. That has bit the dust since supposedly the plaza owner broke

their lease in favor of some Home Depot like place that wants to move into

that building. Sure glad I didn't give her any money.

Dee yep I know it is. Makes it harder for us real handcrafters. Are you

saying that the new one in Henrietta is not gonna happen? I was thinking

just today of checking it out. Which plaza was it? Hmmm

Shaye,

No it's not going to happen. She says she is broke now and going to have

to sue Benderson. It was in the K-Mart Plaza on Jefferson where MJ Designs

used to be. When I was there she had about 10 permanent booths put up and

the town was making her take them down and put up temporary booths that

were not part of the structure. Seems it is not easy to get a co-op going

in Henrietta.

The vendors in the last one never received their money for the last two

months they had their stuff in that one and now of course he has filed

bankruptcy. I know she had about 70 booths already filled out of about

225. Those people had to pay her first and last month's rent just to set

up, which is why I wasn't set up yet. I hope they got their money back.

You know girls (and guys, too), I always think my stuff isn't good enough. But

after you do a few shows and you have people buy from you (it has to be people

that you don't know) and they talk about how nice your soap and other stuff is

you begin to gain a little confidence. I have done several fairly large and

hard to get into shows over the last 4-5 years and I still have that little

doubt poking around in my brain. This fall I did only 2 shows-both juried and

sought

after, and sold around $2000 at each of them! I am so amazed when that happens!

However, if you love what you do, and care about what you put out for public

consumption, then the public will notice and be appreciative! I always need

to remind myself of that fact! I assume that we all LOVE to make soap and

lotions and all the other stuff we do (I know I do), and that translates into a

WONDERFUL product! I know that a great selling point for me is when I tell

people

that if I ever stopped selling my stuff, I would always continue to make and use

certain items such as lotion bars, loofah soaps, and my cp soaps. I only say it

'cuz it's true, and I feel kind of embarrassed when I say it, but it's true.

Love you all,

Hi Jen,

Thanks for the welcome!

Your husband's name sounds familiar too. If I was logged onto my laptop right

now, I'd look him up. By any chance, is he in Global Services? I am in the

SAP Deployment systems group in the Worldwide Accounts Payable organization,

we do a lot of work with the IGS group.

How cool!

Hi Aimee,

I started on this path much like you 8 years ago. You start with

just an inkling of something being wrong about vaccines, and, over

time, you learn the overwhelming truth about how dangerous they

are. Your instincts are correct!

Basically, right now, you don't need an exemption to refuse

vaccines. Vaccines are only legally required for school attendance

(and certain professions). Prepare yourself to fight, nonetheless,

however, because most ped. doctors that I know of will refuse to

treat a child when the parents won't vaccinate. You could try

saying that you are just going to wait until he's older before you

vaccinate (not telling the doctor that you're going to wait till

he's 110). That might pacify him. More likely, you would need to

find a sympathic doctor. You're fortunate, because I'm sure there

will be many in your area. If no one on this list knows of one, you

can check with PROVE, which is a Texas based group that fights to

protect parents' rights to refuse vaccines.

If you want to tell the doctor you have now that you object on

religious grounds, no one can question that (although he still has

the right to refuse to treat you). The Courts have already declared

that an individual's personal objections to vaccination can not be

gainsayed. You don't have to have a specific belief system to claim

the religious exemption. I, for instance, say that I oppose

vaccination because God gave us an immune system to protect us and

that it is a sin to inject toxins into the body to try to prevent

disease; it is an affront to God and shows a lack of faith in his

provision. Also, the body is meant to be a temple, and must not be

polluted with chemicals, etc.

I hope you'll be lucky and your doctor will be one of the

sympathetic ones; it could just happen!

From what I read, WW just gives you the number of points you're allowed to

have each day and you make your own choices of what to eat. With the

FoodMover, *tells* you how much you can eat in each food group and

you choose the individual foods. This way you know you're using all your

exchanges on healthy foods, not using all your points on a piece of cake and

can of soda so there's no points left for veggies or protein foods.

Thanks a, I have written this doctor down. Is he an allergist,

respiratory or ear, nose and throat doctor? Just wondering. :o))

When I lived in AZ, I was going to a group of respiratory doctors who

worked out of Good Sam hospital. I have even been thinking of moving

back to AZ just to go back to them as they were the ones who helped

me the most but I will be without any insurance if I do that and I

believe that Good Sam is a private hospital. I think Maricopa is the

county hospital and when I lived there, heard a lot of horror stories

about the care received there.

If I do this, I will just have to be sure and go into the dr when I

have problems. Over the years since the drs I have gone to, don't

seem to know what to do, I have really just quit going into the

office unless it is just absolutely imperative. I am just gun shy but

these drs I would trust with my life and have.

Thanks again.

a, It's a small world. :o))

What happened when you coded? Was it related to the Samter's?

The name of the group that I went to was:

Pulmonary Associates, P.A.

1112 East McDowell Road

602 258 4951

They have another office also but I always went to the McDowell

office:

9200 North Third Street, Suite 23

602 997 7263

My doctor was Dr. Levine. I do not know if he is still practicing or

not. He was still there in the later 90's. I wouldn't be hesitant to

go to anyone of the doctors in this group.
