Re: Meds

Claudine,

yep I think was 2.5 or somewhere around there up to

3.4. I do not want to go in because I don't want to

have to see Ms Bottle Blonde/Permanted, Frizzy, curly

haired ugly person by the way, she called the

Hospital. Just because I do not get food stamps I do

not qualify for any help, and it sucks. Not Qualify

for food stamps too. Where do they think, I can come

up with any money. By the time the Bankruptcy is paid

and Rent. that is $825, What about Elec,

Eood,Scripts. Diabetic stuff, that I am doing without

now. I have lowered myself even to ask, and then they

think they are better than us don't they know that

they aren't? I get $158.32, too much, a month, how in

the hell am I suppose to cram in all that, to

$1058.32. Sorry, I am, I don't know what feeling

would describe what I am.

Take Care, Connie

Hi e where you been? Thanks on the med thing

but Scherings Comitment to care sends it to me at no

charge.

I have tried foodstamps 4 times, no 5, if you count FL

I was basically told to Lie (by one of their people),

well I am bot a good liar. Even called the lady in

admissions, that I had lied to her. It ate at me all

weekend, 8am Monday morning I called to tell her. I

will try for the foodstamps. I have heard that on you

initail try for SS if you go down there they will

give Food Stamps, but not on appeals.

It was ridiculous they always find something

Car

too much money

ignored the bankruptcy

medical bills

prescriptions Etc.....................

Just remember, things like this are very unusual! They

DON'T happen to most people! You have to watch out or

you start blaming every little thing on either the

HCV, or treatment, if you are on it, and completely

overlook more likely reasons for problems.

Rant all you want! I can't believe some of these things, but I know they are

true.

Just to step up on the ranting page. My daughter is now separated from her

husband and of course he doesn't give her any monetary help, and definitely

no fatherly help for the 2 boys.

Reminds me of when I was a divorced Mom of 2, and due to sporadic overtime,

I made too much money over their allotment to get free the kids help with

breakfast and lunches, or even food stamps or WIC, etc. I ended up having to

work another part time job just to make more money to feed my own kids.

No that has nothin to do with hep c... but if I hadn't found and married

this wonderful man I'm married to now, I think I'd be in a looney bin right

now. Just as we married, I was starting to feel the hep c effects -

tiredness, irritability, couldn't concentrate (nite school full time, work

day full time), you name it. It was as if God gave him to me at the right

time. I quit school (thank Gawd, calculus was fun but tedious), reduced my

work hours (back to 40 a week haha) all that rot.

And I found out my hep c interview was in Monday's paper and I didn't know

it!!!!

A lady called me from the support group and 3 people emailed me they read it

and I have yet to see it myself!!! I'm so upset! I wish they had told me. I

have no idea how it came out :((( I'll let yall know when I know more.

Just venting myself!

no fatherly help for the 2 boys.

Actually they aren't that unusual. There were several months last year and

the year before that neither my husband nor I was working, didn't have

unemployment, no insurance and we didn't qualify for squat cuz we made too

much money in the previous months.

I get stories like that all the time in the chatroom, not qualifying for aid

for treatment or even too broke to see a doctor and get the right tests

done.

Good luck.

I remember Alley when you were going through so much.

It's always something......I think the Government

needs a good beating, LOL I was gonna say something

else but not in the mood to go to Federal Prison.

Did anyone one send an e-mail to the Surgeon General?

I did. Satcher I think his name is.

Take Care, Connie

Lot of a good it will do
