Connie, I can really empathize with the water situation. I always

have taken a cup of water to bed with me...only thing is, now the cat

drinks it too =^..^=

LOL, you just gave me a solution, take a BOTTLE of water to bed.

DUHHHH, talk about brain-fog, now I shoulda thought of that myself.

Although now I'll probably miss waking up to the slurp slurp of kitty

drinks. I admit I get a laff watching her sneak up the side of the

bed to get to the water. She thinks she's really getting away with

murder.

Take care Connie

lol...My Pomerainian, Bronx will do the same thing. he

will stand there and be watchful as he drinks it all

up but I got him a few times. Grabbed him and said

BOO, and he yelps like you have hurt him and will not

look at me for a few days has went to the extreme of

not coming in my room. The bottle thing has just been

about 6 months now. I like the ones with the big

opening so you can put ice in them, Minute Maid oj has

one with big neck. Got the idea from a 2 year old

that I think gave me this cold originally. Well is

time for me to grab my bottle and be off to bed....lol

Congratulations Kate, and so glad the baby is healthy and all is well...

(and I am soooo jealous, since my grown sons do not seem eager to reproduce!)

Hi all you wonderful people. Just had to share my great news. My daughter had her first baby (my first grandchild) today. She weighed in at a healthy 6lb 15oz. We are all relieved as this was an extremely high risk pregnancy. Of course my granddaughter is the most beautiful child ever! Kate

Baby's name is Madison Lenore. My daughter is very weak and on self

administered morphine at the moment but she should be a bit better tomorrow.

She is unable to have the baby with her at the moment and I think this

will push her to get going fairly quickly. She just needs some rest

for a while, and some food tomorrow.

Hey Jessie.

I am sure I have it somewhere in my living room. I'll have the hubby

check to see what it's expiration date.

Jessie, I am so sorry, but I can't find it. The last flyer I have is

for the Memorial Day sale, and expired June 8th.

I posted on the PNW group hoping that (pigletsmom) has better

luck.

I do have a 30% off coupon for apparel fabric at Hancock Fabrics if

you can use that.

I'm very sorry. I really hope someone else is able to come through

for you!

God be with you Memory - I learned the same lesson when my mother

passed away rather suddenly 3 years ago. Never just ASSUME that you

will have another day to show your love to everyone around you!

Hi to All,

I lost my father to a massive heart attack on July

9th. He was only 67 years old.

I want to urge all of you to tell your loved ones how

much they mean to you TODAY!!! You may not be able to

tomorrow.

Dear Memory-

You have my deepest sympathy. I can feel your pain coming right

through. I lost my wonderful dad in November. He was 69 and healthy

as a horse. Even though we had a very close relationship, there are

so many things I wish I had said to him, also. We had no idea we

would lose him so suddenly. May God bless you and your family,

dear. I keep hearing that it will get easier and that our memories

will comfort us, but it hasn't happened yet. I am here if you ever

need to talk.

Margaret & Memory,

My Father just died, also. He died this April. He lived in NJ

whereas I live in TX. I had just seen him 9 days before he passed

away. It is odd because I hadn't seen him prior to my March visit

for 10 months because I was afraid to fly after Sept. 11th. But, on

the spur of the moment I got up the courage to fly but was a nervous

wreck. Something just told me to go. He was in a nursing home, but

doing very well. The photos of him and I are the last of him alive.

I'm so thankful to have gotten the chance to see him, hug and kiss

him again.

I was always a chubby kid and he was always a skinny man. He never

belittled me for being " fat " and never made me feel less than

perfect. When he saw me in March, he had the biggest smile on his

face to see me a " normal " size. He just wanted to know that I felt

good. It was the first time in our lives that I was skinnier than

him! My Mother was MO and fought obesity her whole life. Without

the MGB, history would have repeated itself with me.

Anyway, enough of my story, the tears are coming.

May God Bless you both as you recover from your losses. I have now

lost both parents and it just unbelievable.

Dear ,

That’s a good idea! I was off work

today, but was online from 7:30 a.m till now 8:00 p.m. reading

e-mails. But- I enjoyed every minute of it!!

Yes, it sure can be overwhelming, when you

don’t have time to read them. I don’t know how to do chat room yet,

too dumb.

Re: [ ]

Digest Number 2701

Harper,

I agree with you. I think Bert has a great suggestion about the chat

room. I do think this will cut down on the mass of messages that some of

us find difficult to get through. I know when I was not feeling well over

the Holidays and came back to read there were over 600 messages. I just

could not read them all and had to delete them without reading. I know I

missed important info and felt bad doing so, but I just could not get caught

up.

In no way do I want anyone to feel that there comments or post are unwelcome,

but it can be quite difficult to read them all. I've just spend 2 hours

getting through all of today's posts so far.

I think this is a great group and would like to continue and think Bert's

suggestion is a good one to help remedy the problem.

And would Madam care for a saucer of milk to go with the meow? lol.

Carol

Re:

Dear Dr. Misra,

I was on pegylated interferon and ribaviron for 11 months. I have been

finished since July 31st. I still have terrible headaches and no energy.

Sometimes I am achy and lightheaded. I was negative after 3 months of

treatment and positive at the end of 6 months post treatment. My doctor

told

me to go to an internist, that the headaches should be getting better and

they are worse. Tomorrow I am going for an MRI, and then to a neurologist.

Have you had any experience with patients having headaches for so long? I

started having them every day after about 2 weeks of treatment and every day

since. Before treatment I had a headache about once a week, or every other

week, sometimes, mostly sinus. Thanks, Meghan
