Joyce,

The best articles on cholesterol are by Enig who is a big coconut oil

fanatic. High cholesterol is not what you have led to believe. It has very

little bearing to heart disease as you will read. Cholesterol surrounds the

blood cell to protect it from viruses, free radicals and other harmful sources

in the body. In essence, it is a protective coating. Saturated fats are a

necessity to the body. Why zapping and ridding your body of parasites is so

important is that parasites create viruses and other diseases which prompts the

body to produce cholesterol to protect the blood cells. Yes, you are unhealthy

when you have high cholesterol but as you will read in 's work, it has very

little to do with heart disease. In her work, extra virgin coconut oil is a

great source of healthy fat and possesses many ingredients which rids the body

of parasites and viruses. That is why the societies that live on this source of

healthy fat have hardly any instances of heart

disease.

Dr. 's work is so important because her methods rid the body of diseases

and viruses. When these are present in the body, the body fights it by

producing cholesterol to protect the cells. So what do we do when we have high

coholesterol ??? Go on a no fat diet !!! How stupid. We should be loading up

on fat like coconut oil and ridding our body of the viruses and diseases which

make the body need this cholesterol to protect our cells. Dr. s work is

right on for ridding your body of high cholesterol. Just not as you would

think. I think you will find your answers in Enig's work. She and DR.

would make a good pair.

Good luck,

You should maybe be thinking about raising your HDL instead of lowering your

LDL. This is getting off topic, but do you take fish oil? That can help

raise HDL. Also, exercise and plenty of good fats.

Hi Barb,

Yeah, I quit taking the statin long ago. I have been supplementing

with flax, hemp, and pumpkin seed oil, but I Topper's site had some

good data that those oils are bad for thyroid. I picked up some cod

liver oil, and ordered a bunch of Krill oil. It just seems funny that

after all these lectures about avoiding fats, I need to supplement with

them.

Got the exercise covered, will work on getting some healthy fats

back into my diet. Right now my diet consists of a blue berry

rice and hemp protein shake every morning, a plate full of peas

carrots and celery that I graze on all day, and a black bean and

rice non dairy low fat burrito for supper. Been doing this since the

new year trying to lose weight. I've lost more weight after 2 weeks or

so of Armour than I had for the previous several months. Maybe now

I can eat something once in a while, but wait. I've got no appetite now.

I'm sure that it will all balance out eventually.

Thanks for all the good input.

Hi,

Read your post about lowering your HDL.

My HDL is 69 (40-59). I do take Fish Oil and the endo told me to cut my Vytorin

in half. I try to exercise so will this take care of the matter.

I was under the impression that it was good to keep this high.

Thank you - Bonnie

Wow, I think I need to start glugging down lots of Fish Oil. Those are great

numbers.

Congratulations on being able to lower your dose of Vytorin.

> I was under the impression that it was good to keep this high.

You are absolutely right, they want the LDL as low as you can get it, HDL as

high as you can

get it, as long as the total cholesterol number is less than 200.

> Thank you - Bonnie

You bet, and thanks for helping me decide to try Fish Oil.

Best, -Mike

Amazing...we can do everything but wire our jaws shut and if the thyroid

isn't working we get fat. Good to hear the weight is coming off.

Hi

That is my concern as well ..... I've been taking cholesterol meds for several

years now and my family and friends are telling me the same that I'm going to

get in trouble (with higher cholesterol) on such a high fat and high protein

diet. There's heart disease in my family so I have to be extra careful about

those things.

I can't seem to find the cholesterol article either

I did hear that too .... liver and kidney functioned could be compromised by

the diet but I don't know if that is true or not ....

Have you heard this? Apparently some people think a high-protein diet

It's explained quite well in here

http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/articles/intro2.php but you can also go

to Bee's site www.healingnaturallybybee.com

<http://www.healingnaturallybybee.com/> and do a search on 'cholesterol' in

the top right corner. It will give you some more articles. Also, this is not

a high protein diet by any means.

Cholesterol has little to do with heart disease. In fact, low

cholesterol is dangerous. If you read the black box that Lipitor

comes in, it states that the statin does not reduce the risk of heart

attack. In other words, the drug is useless. The liver regulates

cholesterol production. Cholesterol in foods simply replaces

cholesterol manufactured in the liver so any attempt to reduce

cholesterol consumption (there is no reason to do so) will be

compensated for by increased production in the liver. All these

dangerous drugs is to lower the efficiency of the liver by inhibiting

the production of a substance that is required to remain healthy. The

higher the cholesterol the less there is a risk of cancer. There is

no such thing as 'bad' cholesterol. It is the lipoprotein (a) that

forms protective plaques over arteries weakened by poor collagen

production that would otherwise rupture and cause a hemorrhage.

Lowering of cholesterol levels is a stupid and dangerous thing to do.

The real risk for heart disease is the level of inflammation which is

measured by C-reactive protein produced often by a subacute infection

going on somewhere in the body. About 1/2 of those who suffer heart

attacks do not have excessive plaques in their arteries. Most heart

attacks are electrical in nature due to a build-up of acid in the

ventricles of the heart. Exercise produces lactic acids which, when

added to existing acids in the blood, will cause a loss of electrical

conductivity in the ventricular impulse nerves that produce a co-

ordinated rhythm in the left ventricular muscle producing an infarct.

Rigerous exercise is unnecessary and has killed many people who are

usually out of shape suddenly decide to go out for a run only to keel

over in the driveway from an acid over-load. Cayenne pepper placed

under the tongue works faster and better than does a defibrilator in

restoring normal heart pumping.

Yes, I was going to point that out too. This isn't a high-protein

program. It's actually a high-fat program which scares people even

more! I found the best way to handle it with my family is just not

tell them much. I haven't been able to make anyone else understand,

so I just quit trying. Thank goodness my husband is so open-minded

and we can share this journey together, but as for everyone else, I

just keep it to myself now. , if your mom is anything like

mine, it's probably best just to not tell her much about this program.

Good luck.

It's funny you say that as I don't tell my friends any more either. They

think I'm crazy when I try to explain to them what is going on even my own

daughter thinks I'm NUTS and is starving myself just to be thin .... ya no

kidding, I sure wish I could gain a few pounds these days and feel better.

People say I look very pale and thin and ask if I'm ok and I just say yes now

and nothing more.....

, this diet is moderate protein, not high protein. However even

if it was high protein it wouldn't cause any health problems

whatsoever. If it did the Eskimos Dr. Price studied would have had

mega health problem because they only ate meats and fats. However they

were so healthy they didn't even have cavities. See the Myths & Truths

About Beef on my website to understand more about protein:
