According to my insurance company, the people who I will be speaking

to tomorrow are not employees of MAMSI Life and Health. They are

local businessmen or business women who are " experts " in contracts.

Since medical necessity has not ever been an issue, the only people

on the appeal board are people who will decide if this should be

overturned due to the fact that is an excluded benefit in my

company's policy. My physical health is basically " irrevelant " to

the procedure tomorrow if you can believe that!

Your physical health should be relevant to the entire case. Eventually it

will become a life or death issue and this is what I don't want it to come to

for myself. This is the reason why we all should be approve. of

Thanks for the note for HELP! I wish I could fix your scanner!! I had alot of

problems with my computer about 3 weeks ago and oit was that TROJAN virus!!!

The only people I talk to in e-mail is all of you wonderful MGB'ers!!! But I

took my computer in and got it fixed, they had to give me a new monitor??

Anyhow, hope you get it fixed!! Are you still sick??? Geeez! My big day is

tomorrow at the PCP wish me luck!! My pcp is a young pup, and I am not sure

how he will react! Annnnd I am dying cause I know I will have to put on a

gown LOL EWWWWWW! I bet after he see's that he will approve me! LOL Hey are

Time-Caps is generic natural thyroid made by a company in New York.

Natur-throid is a European natural thyroid I think. I think Nature-

throid is better than Time-Caps.

i agree Tish. The naturethroid works as good as Armour as far as I'm concerned,

but the generic from Time Caps labs leaves a LOT to be desired. It's not

possible it can be the exact consistency cuz I was miserable on it. :-(

There's a real serious situation with one of our group members, but at this time she is having some difficulty dealing with the reality of PSC and end stage liver disease - so out of respect for her, allowing her time to cope, I will not mention her name. However, I will continue to stress how important it is that I/we locate a hepatologist in Ohio. I spoke to a mutual friend tonight and he said not to limit my search to the Dayton area, and pointed out that Indianapolis, Columbus, Cincinnati and a multitude of other cities are within 1-3 hour drive - of course, the closer to Dayton the better, assuming the hep is good. So, if anyone knows a hep within a reasonable distance from Dayton, please, let me know. Time is truly impertinent in this matter. She needs a hep, so she can get a referral to a tx center, and get listed...now. I'm fighting for her because she's not able to fight for herself at this time, but I'm sure most of you here understand that and we all know how important it is to have an advocate when you're just "too pooped to party," as my mom used to say.
