Paola!!! (((hugs)))

How wonderful to see you back with us! I have been thinking about you and

figured that by now you had your baby. You have a little boy, all ready a

lady-killer, I'm sure! What's his name? How did the delivery go? Can you post

a picture of him to our group files? Babies are so wonderful and I'm so happy

for you and your family!

If you're breastfeeding, you should start with Phase 2, that's what Dr. A says.

You'll lose quickly on P2 if you are breastfeeding.

I'm just so glad you " see " you again! I look forward to hearing how the little

guy is doing and of course, your progress as well.

Take care, Mom! ;)

Donna

Hello Everyone!

I'm back! For those of you who remember me.... I had my baby a month

ago (a boy) and am now ready to start watching what I'm eating again.

For those of you who don't know me... I look forward to getting to

know you all.

In the last trimester of my pregnancy, I completely fell off the band

wagon and went back to my old bad ways of eating. I have to admit

that when I was following the SBD way, I felt much better physically.

So.... today I am back on day 1 of phase 1. I need some serious

detoxing. I expect it to be a bit of a struggle because of my

carb-addiction BUT I am pretty determined.

The good thing is that I am back a pre-pregnancy weight... but I still

have 50lbs to lose

I am happy to be back and look forward to getting to know you all.

Thanks Donna! Of course I can post a picture of my little in the

files. In fact I will do it as soon as I'm done typing this response. The

delivery was actually difficult. My epidural ran out when I started the

pushing phase. The pushing lasted 2 1/2 hours and on top of it all he was

born " sunny side up " (face up instead of down) which is apparently one of

the hardest types of births. Lucky me! Anyways... I am fully recovered now

and since I am not breastfeeding, I went back to phase I. I really need

that detox!

I am happy to be back on the list and back on track.

I created an album entitled curiouspaola under the photo section of the

file. You will find 2 pics of little as well as one of him and me. I

guess this could be considered my " before " picture. :o)

Paola,

That's exactly how it was with my son's birth. The epidural ran out

and he was face up, making it impossible to get him out. After 14

hours, they finally pulled him out with forceps.

Glad you are all recovered and doing well.
