Rose,

I have to admit,, they lost me. Alot of abbreviations for ERCP jargon I

think . Maybe Dr. will see this at some point and jump in.Maybe Kaye

will know as she is a medical transcriptionist. PD could be pancreatic duct.

CBD could be the Common Bile Duct.Canuletion is probably cannulation, like a

roto rooting type of cleaning or scraping. They do need a course in

handwriting !

,

He won't need it until he gets psuedomonas and then they will use it to treat

it and then use it as a preventive. I am glad you found this group it is a

GREAT group everyone helps every out. I know how you feel we didn't know CF

was in our genes either. We didn't find out until our oldest was 6 and our

youngest was 1. They are 9 and 4 now. Where do you live? I am in Iowa. Deb A

Hi Deb,

I live in Connecticut. We actually are Mainers. Someday we will go back but

here we are. We've been here 1 1/2 years. I have a friend in Iowa in Ottumwa.

Hi :)

In my in-person support group, there is a girl who is also 16 who

just had her surgery 2 weeks ago. So far all is going well for her!

Just thought you'd like to know that you aren't alone in this!
