What if I'm getting a feedback-loop already? It was only 4 days since I started

taking 1 full grain of ERFA Thyroid. Right now, I definitely feel HYPO. More

than I've felt for 12+ years since before I took any meds at all. :(

Well what I can say is that during 2004-2008, when I was on the combo T4/T3, and

felt pretty good, my FT4 always stayed at 10.0 which is very low. But I was

taking T3, so that happens when you take such a dose (40 mcg of T3 daily) - This

could not have given me rT3 issues.

However, a few months into 2008, my new and ignorant doc at that time, removed

my T3-med and upped my T4-med to 150 mcg daily (up from 100 mg daily in the past

years) - THIS can have given me rT3 issues. I remember my FT4 going as high as

22.5 in the beginning when T3 was removed and T4 was increased to compensate for

the removal of T3.

Does this make any sense?

It is, however, a scary thought that FT3 can look ok while NOT going into the

cells. Same as with Adrenal Fatigue, then.

Yes, I agree, the headache sounds like a sinus infection which is very common

with hypo's. I get them a lot. When you blow your nose, is the discharge any

color other than clear?

Isn't this extremely dangerous? I mean... I might have had rT3-issues since

2007. Who knows, maybe before that too. My heart has been skipping beats since

early 2008 + lots of other heart symptoms too.

Today I feel FAT, FAT, FAT. Like a slow, puffy pig. I feel worse right now than

what I did when I started on ERFA Thyroid. It could be temporary, I guess.

So, feeling more hyo now than I've felt for 12+ years must mean something. I

hope my specialist can reply to the email I sent her on Friday, with the

rT3-result and so on.

I feel dead-heavy. My arms are falling down. Cheeks feel heavy. Everything feels

heavy. Breathing. I feel like my heart is beating weakly, and like.. Something

is wrong.

But I won't know more until I raise ERFA Thyroid and remove synthetic T4. What

if I feel even WORSE than this? I am afraid the next level is death.

Hello Donna,

Well. I don't have the typical BROWNish discharge which I remember from really

having bad sinus infections, so...

I don't know...

Should I try to go outside and walk? Even if it feels like my body just want to

lie down? I feel HORRIBLE. Just .... HEAVY and slow and not in this " world " :( I

don't know if I'm even alive. I hate the fact that metabolism is so slow.

Can anyone give me a plan for emergency-T3? Like, what do I have to do right NOW

to change from 50 mcg T4 and 1 grain ERFA Thyroid daily to T3-only?

I am SHAKING badly now. Hands especially buit it feels like the whole body is

Do I need to do something FAST to save my life? I feel like THIS IS IT, and I am

dying.

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!

I am on 1 grain ERFA, 50 mcg T4, 20 mg HC.

(can too much supplements do something like this to me? like too much magnesium

or selenium or...?)

The ER don't know how to help me - They don't even think I have Hypothyroidism

cuase I have the TYPE 2 diagnose! :( And to the, Adrenal Fatigue does not exist.

I feel SO scared. SO SCARED.

I was thinking along those lines.

Thank you for replying to me. I am taking my second dose of the day (7.5, 7.5,

5.0 daily) right now, so we'll see how I feel after that.

I remember hands shaking before I started with HC, but the shaking I just got

NOW was just HORRIBLE. Felt like my whole BODY was shaking.

Could it be that my HYPO-state can cause such problems with digestion and

intestines, that the uptake of HC is swinging/changing from day to day?

I raised to 20 mg HC (from 17.5) exactly 1 days ago.

If I choose to switch to T3-only treatment, what can I expect? Is it a hard

switch from the meds I am on currently? I asked my specialist to write me a

switch-plan on email right now.

I am too scared to gamle with my health. I know I should try ERFA Thyroid

longer, it's only been 17 days, but... I am so scared of dying!

Well. I haven't really done anything today. So I was clueless to why it

happened. I am a little better now. But the shaking stopped BEFORE I took my

next dose of HC.

To be totally clueless is the scariest of all - To not know what's happening to

your body!

Taking less ERFA. Is that a good idea? I am already Hypothyroid. I feel mucus in

my cheeks and in my thighs. My right thigh has developed a very hard substance

under the skin. Mucus. As Dr. Mark Starr is describing it.

Well, this CAN be rT3-related, so I'm gonna write about it here:

My bowel movements. They've been weird for 2 years. Since BEFORE T3-med was

removed from me, it has been weird going in the bathroom. Things are way too

loose, and too lightly colored.

Can rT3 have started making my intestines Hypothyroid, before the rest of my

body? If rT3 blocked the effect of T3 when I was on my old " full " dose of 100

mcg T4 and 40 mcg T3 daily (I was on that dose for 4 years without much

problems) thus giving me bowel movement issues?

Gluten. It can also be an intolerance to gluten. That's why I've been going

through the hell that it is so eat gluten-free, for the past 1 1/2 years. It's

SO boring and I get pretty sick of eating only the same salmon, steaks and

salads every say. I miss bread. And the darkest bread (100% wholegrain, from

Denmark/Germany) is HEALTHY too! So I would do better if I just ate some bread.

But not if I have gluten-intolerance. Which I am not sure about. I did the blood

sample. It said I could have it. So I did the biopsy (painful as hell!) which

came out negative. HOWEVER, I did the huge mistake of eating gluten-free for 1

month before I took that biopsy. I ate normal food with gluten in the last 5

days before the biopsy was done, but I don't think it was enough to make any

difference down there in my intestines. I feel like an idiot - I have been

eating gluten-free for 1 1/2 years and I don't even know if I need to! See, I

stopped eating gluten because I was so sick last year, and I didn't know why!

Somehow the idiot docs convinced me that I was no Hypothyroid and did not need

any T4/T3-meds at all. So they removed my T3-med, and dosed down my T4... I got

worse and worse, and finally this June, I got a new specialist, HC and some new

diagnoses (Hypothyroidism Type 2 and Adrenal Fatigue) - I've been feeling better

on HC, that's for sure. BUT I still feel like a total mess. I am less sleepy in

the daytime with HC. But something is still wrong.

rT3. Gluten-Intolerance. Can it be a mix of these two? Or just rT3...

My Ferritin can have suffered (in the 40s now) from stopping eating bread and

other stuff with Iron in it.

*sigh*
