Thank you for your words of comform. It means the WORLD to me. My wife tells me

you are very clever and a good person. I agree.

However, I was just sitting watching tv, " Are you smartr than a 5th grader? "

then I clapped my hands and laughed and (maybe) because of THIS movement, it

seemed it happened just THEN, that my heart suddenly just started beating

WEAKLY, and SLOWLY and UNEVENLY. I felt my heart, I am one of those who feel

EVERY heartbeat, and I felt it was struggling to beat! Only after 20 seconds did

it start to beat stronger and more normally, but I've had this " tickling "

sensation in my heart since it happened. The same tickling I felt when I got

atrial fibrillation in January 2008 - My specialist thinks I got it because not

enough T3 got into my cells, eventhough my T3 dose was 40 mcg daily at the time,

and my FREE T3 in serum was VERY high, at 16.0!

Based on that FT3, my T3-med was taken away from me, and HELL began: Pressure in

the head, laziness attacks etc. etc. etc.

I sure hope that I didn't take my T3-med right before I took that blood sample

in January 2009, that showed ahigh FT3, cause I know FT3 gets high temporarily

when you take your T3-med.

Anyway.

It can very well have been rT3 all the way... Since 2007 when I started to get

STRESSED... (Ok so I went thru some horrible events in my life at that time, so

it might have started a spiral of stress in me!) and up til Today.

rT3. Can it be the MAIN culprit?

My ratio is not perfect. 14.88. (FT3/rT3)

Should I ge to the ER fast and check electrolytes? Bring some sea salt in a bag?

Stoppign T4 meds never killed anyone. RT3 takes over 30 years to kill someone.

HC would take over 300mg taken daily for MONTH S to cause CHF. I agree wiht your

ER that oyu need ot talk to your doctor to aliviate these fears. FEAR is a

symptoms of low cortils not high.It produces adrnealine which can make you even

more feraful and cause heart palps,.

Appreciate your words Nick. Thanks for sticking up for me!

I was thinking more in the lines of rT3 being against me since May 2007 when I

first got stressed. So that's 2 1/2 years now.

Atrial fibrillation in January 2008. Why did that happen. Could it have been rT3

blocking my T3 to the heart? (I know that sounds weird, but you get my drift!)

I am definitely HYPO that's for sure. So you recon it's safe to take a 1/2 grain

extra (total 1 1/2 grain) when I upped from 1/2 grain daily to 1 grain daily 9

days ago? Like I might be moving up on the dose too fast?

Yesterday at my docs office my BP was 125/80, meaning 80 in pulse. Now it's like

70. When I went to bed last night it was about 60 or even 55. I remember in the

summer of 2008 when I was downdosing T4 and took only T4 (I guess around 100/125

mcg daily at that time) my pulse was maybe down to 50ish. I didn't know jack

about my disease at that time. I've been reading about hypo, AF and so on like

CRAZY for these past 1 1/2 years now. . .

I think my specialist wants me to go T3-only.

I honestly do nto think this is a real emergency. RT3 cuses many heart

symptoms but they are scary but not dangerous as they literally

underwork the heart not over work it. A-fib can be caused in adrenal

fatigue by constnat adrnealine an oyu have eveyr symptoms of VERY high

adrenaline. Have you recent cortilsl labs? ever had urinary adrnelaine

tested? High adrenaline can cause high Rt3.,

I think maybe that can be the reason for why I got A-fib that time.

Imagine, I felt stressed, unnaturally stressed, every single day, for 8 months,

from May 2007 and into 2008... Passing 7 months, after Christmas-time, I started

getting tachycardia (200+ bpm) at nighttime when going to bed at 3-4, more and

more, then every night for a week, leading into A-fib on January 31st 2008.

I've learned that you can't trust the cortisol labs when you're on HC. I am

taking 20 mg HC daily. From June 2009 til this day. I was down at 17.5 mg daily

for a period then went back up to 20 when I started taking ERFA Thyroid almost 3

weeks ago.

What are the symptoms of high adrenaline?

My last urine sample from 9th of November 2009 shows:

Iodine 5.1 (>0.)

Cortisol 324* (45 - 272)

Aldosterone 28 (5 - 77)

I did check my nor-adrenaline in an earlier urine sample. I'll look for the

result in my huge blood-sample folder.

Found them!

These results are from October 2008, 8 months BEFORE I started taking HC.

24 hour urine sample, October 2008:

Volume: 3.75 liters (0.99 gallon, or 126 ounces)

Nor-adrenaline: 248 (<722)

Adrenaline: 53 (<127)

Vanillin-almond-acid: 34 (3 - 36)

There you go!

I'm thinking....

Could it be too low Ferritin that caused that slow and irregular heartbeat? Like

I'm taking too much T3 in my 1 grain Thyroid?

I still think the rT3 theory sounds more realistic... My rT3 to FT3 ratio is

14.88 - This is not good. In March this ratio was 10!!! What does THAT mean?

Iodine 5.1 (>0.)

Cortisol 324* (45 - 272)

Aldosterone 28 (5 - 77)

Just from these labs I would say some of your heart symptoms are probably form

low sodium. That aldosterone is pretty low. Symptoms of high adnrealine would be

irratic pulse, cold extremities (hands and Feet) and irratic BP sometime stoo

high someotimes too low. Hot flashes also can happen from it and shaking. A

feelign of extreme fear.

Sounds all too familiar. I've gone through a LOT of those symptoms for years

actually.

Yeah. Aldosterone is maybe a bit on the low side. I drank 1/2 teaspoon salt

earlier. Maybe I should drink more? But then again I'm thinking too much sea

salt can give me fluid retention!

If I go to the ER now, like I plan, what should I ask about?
