Guest guest Report post Posted March 14, 2001 I don't care for really sweet stuff. I don't like any sugar on my cereal and when I used it in my coffee it was just a drop, not even a teaspoon. SO idont' think I would like the whole packet. The flax seed with cream did fill me up, but it almost made me gag at times too. I will try it again tomorrow and see. I can't imagine it without the cream, I was certainly tasting that. a Re: Flax I have more energy on the mornings that I eat the flax seed cereal. a - use the whole pack of Splenda. Please visit our homepage at http://members.xoom.com/AChallengersYou will find information, recipes, before and after pictures. To contact the list owner please send mail to lindag@...Visit our 2000 Train Tour Site - http://www.brunnet.net/k & l/web_site_train_tour/actraintour.htm

Guest guest Report post Posted March 14, 2001 a, I thought it was wierd, too. It may take some getting used to. Chris -----Original Message-----From: corky Sent: Tuesday, March 13, 2001 6:35 AMTo: AtkinsChallengers Subject: Flax Well I ate it, it's weird. How do I count the carbs in the cereal? I s the cereal zero carbs and you count the cream and the splenda? Or does the cereal itself have carbs? How many carbs in splenda as I only used a little part of a packet? I hope you're happy, Joya, I ate breakfast first thing on a weekday just like I used to when I was eating cereal. aPlease visit our homepage at http://members.xoom.com/AChallengersYou will find information, recipes, before and after pictures. To contact the list owner please send mail to lindag@...Visit our 2000 Train Tour Site - http://www.brunnet.net/k & l/web_site_train_tour/actraintour.htm

Guest guest Report post Posted March 14, 2001 Flax aka Flax seeds, I buy these at GNC and Vitimin outlet. I think you can get them in some health food stores also. They are rich in fiber and Omega 3 essential oils. If you buy them whole u shud grind them up in a blender or coffee grinder before consuming, ground seeds must be kept in the freezer as they spoil quickly. Eat them cold as heat destroys the essential oils. I eat them like this, 3 T seeds, with 1 package splenda, 1 T Cream, 1 T water and 1 capful of Vanilla extract. They have a nutty sweet taste this way. In a message dated 3/14/01 9:20:51 AM Eastern Standard Time, mdeel@... writes: > Hey All! > Ok I have to ask, what is Flax? Guest guest Report post Posted March 14, 2001 I bought mine in the refrigeration section of the health food store. I just had some ... I mixed mine this way - 1/3 cup flax meal (ground flax) and 1/3 cup (cold water and 1/2 & 1/2) Tomorrow I may try 1/2 cup and I am going to add berries as soon as they are in season. Here are some sites for more info on FLAX http://www.barleans.com/literature/111-fortiflax.html http://www.heintzmanfarms.com/mbflax1.htm for a free sample go to : http://www.barleans.com/literature/111-fortiflax.html
