Hi there! Well, we're off to San tomorrow for a week. I'll really miss you all! It's strange to be packing a suitcase for the last time. This will be our last trip ever as a married couple without children :) WOW! That's really strange to say, but also makes me really happy! Please keep all three of us in your prayers for a safe trip. Until next Friday.........I'll be 34 weeks!elle

,

Thank you, he is such a ham, he loves to have his picture taken, and

mommy loves to take them! Don't get down, next month is a whole new

month! Getting pg takes time, after all, good things are worth the

wait. I can defenitely say that it was worth all the heartache and

waiting for this little guy.

Take Care,

Kim

Kim, I am glad everyone seems to be doing well. I can't believe how fast Christian is growing. I don't blame you for wanting to take pics of every moment, who wouldn't?.....(smile) That must be so neat to see him start to coo and develop his own little personality. I think the nighttime routine you are trying to get him into sounds good. I am sure the pics from Babies R Us will turn out beautifully, I can't wait to see them. As for going back to work, I can't believe it will be time already. You must get so spoiled being able to spend so much time with him. I hope the working from home works out ok. Take care. __________________________________________________Terrorist Attacks on U.S. - How can you help?Donate cash, emergency relief informationhttp://dailynews.yahoo.com/fc/US/Emergency_Information/

,Hi...

IMHO depression could be a by product of any operations that had not

resolved the intended problem. I don't think that this is specific just to

How long has it been since the surgery???

Doubtful.....surgery itself, regardless of the type, can have depression as

a side-effect.

HOWEVER if you are having multiple surgeries to " correct " depression, you

need to seek a more competent surgeon (or psychologist). This surgery is

NOT designed to do anything for depression. Sometimes, alleviation of

depression comes from improvement of physical symptoms. Again -- seek

someone more competent.

most times, depression and chronic illness go hand in hand. with chronic

headaches, you

are in pain so much, for so long, its no wonder you get depressed.

and some docs will actually admit that sometimes depression causes the illness,

and other

times illness triggers the depression.

depression is something that it is hard to self diagnose. you are in a fog all

the time

and feels like you are trying to walk thru armpit high mud.

depression also can make any illness, symptom, injury, birth defect, etc. seem

worse.

please understand, I am not calling ACM a illness, symptom, injury, birth

defect, it is a

medical condition I have, as with everyone else here, I could care less what

people are

calling it, and the terminology used does not make the pain any less or more

real.

With the pain I have had all my life, I sort of saw myself like the fox, or wolf

with its

foot caught in a hunters trap, sometimes my pain has been so bad, if I could I

would of

chewed my head off long ago.

have a better than average day,

I have had numerous surgeries and still have symptoms. I am deemed totally

disabled by three drs. Sometimes I think I was better off before all the

surgeries started 2 1/2 years ago. I really thought there was light at the

end of the tunnel. That I was going to get rid of these horrible headaches,

the fatigue, the clumsiness, the tingling, etc. Now, I still have some of

these symptoms (the headaches and fatigue being the worst of them) and I feel

I am worse off than before. I am not able to work and I don't really have a

life. I can get out of the house for a couple of hours, but by the time I

get back home, I am exhausted and my head is throbbing. I usually pay for an

outing for about three days.

I have another surgery coming up March 7th. I am hoping this takes away some

of the head pain and gives me some sort of life back.

I am blessed in that I have a wonderful husband and support system in my

family and friends. They only let me feel sorry for myself for so long and

then they let me know that I had better get off the " pity pot " and change my

attitude. So, I try to stay positive and I pray alot. I also have a puppy

who is my pride and joy. He is 11 months old. Our lab/husky died April 21,

2001 and we got Buddy on June 1, 2001 at 7 weeks old. He is my comfort and

my laughter (after all, laughter is the best medicine) because he is

hilarious. The more I laugh, the more he does to keep me laughing.

So, it is not all gloom and doom for me. I have wonderful people in my life,

and I have my Buddy.

Take Care!!!!

Hi ,

What type of orbital decompression are you having.....fatty or boney or both?

Will they make an incision or go thru your nose? What is your proptosis

measurement? (Mine is 30mm or cm, however it is measured). Do you have

double vision or optic nerve involvement? I am asking ALL of these questions

because I will be having bilateral decompression going thru the nose soon

myself.

If I were you I would NEVER EVER have RAI again! I know I would never do it

again in a million years!!!!!!!!!!! You know it makes the eye disease worse,

right?

Take care!

Hi ,

Your appointments sound like they went really really well. Did you tell

your endo you want copies of all of your labs as they are done?

>>>I scheduled the ultrasound anyway,<<<

I'm glad your endo wants to do an ultrasound rather than an uptake, no

radiation here! This is the only thing I would consider. You should be fine

with this and it will show if there are any nodules on your thyroid.

Hope this helps,

Jody
