<whimper>, please don't do that. I'll have to drug you (your drugs) before we

go tomorrow. I'll ask your questions, you'll smile & nod.

Well, wait. The book was written AFTER my sx, so I'm home free, right? And all

those urologists and the literature on kidney stones, just disregard that.

anon.

Re: Giving up Carbonation

Colas, tea, same, same.

Still brown liquids, still interferes with calcium absorption and

can

aim toward kidney stones. It's not " never " , so much as " in moderation " .

Maybe if we all started bugging her about the diet Coke, she'd stop! Ok

everyone, mark it on your calendar to send an email every day saying NO

DIET COKE. We'll stagger it by state so that it's continuous.

Yes, but if it's a RULE, she has to follow it. She said so herself. I'm

guessing that if I can get Dr. Oh to write it down, it becomes official and then

she has to do it.

Um, what did you drink BEFORE the meeting? I mean that big huge glass that you

made the lady in the restaurant fill with ice and something brown and fizzy.

No, last time I checked they don't serve chocolate protein in Japanese

restaurants. I'm pretty sure it was Diet Coke.

I did without it foro THREE YEARS! Couldn't do nutrasweet, couldn't do

straight, so none. BUT I kept trying (not knowing it was eveil), and had just

gotten back thoroughlyb addicted when the kidney stone attacked me, AND I got 2

cavities from the acids (not sugar).

Learn from me. Don't even GO THERE!

Michele,

I think if you are keeping Terry since she won't be able to get to

Dr. Oh's, you need to be aware that she has 3 very ACTIVE little

boys that go with her and I'd think twice about this. Trust me on

this one.
