I'm sorry you feel so bad... but I'm glad we are here to listen to you vent!

Just imagine how bad it would be if you were truly alone...

I've been waiving my white flag for the last two weeks, but apparently this

rotten disease see's my white flag as a loaded cannon, because it just wont quit

tearing me apart... Hell, at this point, I'd accept being 1/2 normal... I'm

really not that difficult and I'm willing to compromise.

to many days on this, " Resting " .  I want to live again.  My daughter and I

are at the mercy of this disease and have been for to many years.

We all know how you feel. My rheumy prescribed me provigil which helps combat

the chronic fatigue, bad side...it's not covered by most insurances since it's

only medically used for narcolepsy. Have to pay out of pocket for it and it's

$$$. I don't take it everyday, but it helps.

Hope you feel better soon!! It's nice to vent to people who know exactly what

you are going through. Hope your flare goes away soon. Much love!!

I just really want it to go away now! I am hurting all over and now a new joint

is flaring...my left hip. I am dreading where this is heading as I know once a

joint starts to hurt it only gets worse before it levels off to a constant ache

and then the joint is always sore. I was so worried about my larger joints

being affected and now I am in the midst of it. I just really want to be normal

again. I just need to vent today as I am tired and sore and fed up!

Hi " T " - I'm sorry you are having such a tough time of things. I know how

disheartening this whole RA process can be. Please keep in close contact with

your Rheumy. The key is getting the right combination of medications so that you

are not in constant pain.

Please know that depression is also something that goes hand in hand with RA and

could very well be the source of your fatigue. I take Celexa every day and I've

not noticed any negative side effects like I have with others.

We can't sit around in anticipation of where the next problem is going to pop

up. We have to find a new " normal " - we have to find new ways to cope with our

everyday activities with minimal pain - we have to make adjustments and

modifications to our " old life " so that we can still function. We have to be

determined that this RA is NOT going to ruin us.

One day at a time, dear one. Praying you are having a better day

today.....Doreen :)

Ok So I am ready to be done with RA now. I am so tired for the last week and I

just really want it to go away now!

I take my meds regularly, I try to eat healthy and I try to get lots of rest

but sometimes it doesn't matter how much rest you get there is no helping this

crappy fatigue!

So with that said I am wishing everyone else a pain free day!

Oh can I come join you...I will even bring my own white flag. The one thing

that bothers me the most is the fatigue. I also have fibromyalgia along

with the RA. Some mornings when I wake up and get through the snap, crackle

and pop, I feel half way good. With this good feeling I start to do things

around the house or outside. Then without any warning...bam, the fatigue bug

flies over and drops a drop of fatigueitis on me. There are times that I

can't even clean up the mess I had started. I have to just stop and go lay

down and sometimes it is for the rest of the day. I feel like I am on a

timer most of the day. I am so ready to be done with everything! Think I

could order a new body through Amazon.com?????
