heavy. I knew the same thing was going to happen to me so I *tried* not to

gain to much weight. But ended up gaining 17 my boy was 7 pounds 9 ounces I

was pleased with that :) >>

Kriss, we have now idea where we are going yet. We are thinking about Albany

or around there. My sis and bro in law just went to visit and see if they

could find anything. We will see.

busy Mommy! Nice to meet you.

Nice to meet you too !!! Sometime I'll have to tell you how my Jake

got his name....it's pretty off topic and includes divine intervention from

our nephew who was killed 9 years ago. It's a very special name to us.

I was 3 days away from getting a tubal when I found out I was pregnant with

Jake!

Boy, if that's the case I should have named Tommy " Jake " ! Heck, if that's the

case, maybe *I* can change *my* name to Jake! ROFL!

:) Whose house is a bit untidy right now, but playing with Kylie is *so*

much more fun <G>

One of my best friends has a 2yob - Jake. Not . He is very

intelligent. He keeps his toys picked up. He'd be considered a neat freak

at 2 yr's. Are all Jake's like this?

I have an Adam, and alot of them are just like mine. Intelligent, great

sense of humor, sweet, thoughtful.

I'm wondering do kids make the names? Do names make the kids? Or both,

maybe some of each.

Ya know, I really hope Jannie doesn't take after me or her Daddy. She

will be soooo messy. I can't barely keep DH and I in clean clothes.

She is the only one with cleanclothes. Our clothes are all over the

floor of our bedroom

My nephue, Landen, is 19 months and he already keeps things picked up. If

someone takes there shoes off in the living room he pickes them up and takes

them to the right room. He also makes sure all doors and cupboard doors are

closed. We just thought that he takes after his dad and is a neat freak. LOL.

, Interesting question you pose. My son's full name is Dalton, but

he has always been Jake. In retrospect, I think we should have just named him

Jake. My Jake is not a neat freak at all. I wish he would be a little bit, but

I don't see if happening! He is, however, very verbal and quite

creative/imaginative. My second son is more on the quiet side, appears quite

introspective. I just love the differences in children!

I said the same thing. " It'd be nice to have atleast one kid who was so

tidy! " But she said he's anal about it. If things aren't put away just

right, he freaks out. She said she wishes he was more relaxed about it, not

so--- intense. So, I don't know???

-

Dh's sister had a son named and 9 years ago when he was 13 he was shot

and killed and a friend's house by a handgun. The friend then went and shot

himself out of guilt. I met my dh 7 years ago so although I never met my

nephew his presence is profound in our family.

Well, I was set for a tubal the summer of 96 when 3 days prior to surgery I

found out I was pregnant. I thought for sure it was a girl but it was another

boy. We couldn't think of a boys name we agreed on, we always came back to the

name Jake but thought it was off limits. Well one day we asked Robin and Gus

and they said they would be honored if we passed along 's name. So that

was set but we couldn't think of a middle name.

One day we were riding home from the store and were talking about the name.

The twins, barely 3 at the time, were in the backseat. They never met ,

obviously, but know they have a cousin in Heaven and they know how he died and

that we love him.

Well, Zack hears us talking and pips up " I know the baby's name " . Hmm..okay

so we ask him what the baby's name is.

" His name is " Zack said quite matter of factly.

We asked him how he knew this.

" Because in Heaven told me that is his name. The baby is supposed to be

named after the angels " .

This is coming from the mouth of my 3 year old. We got home and looked

up in the baby book and of course it talked about the archangel

.

So, my baby was named by his cousin that passed away 9 years before my son was

born. He was meant to be.

~~~~crying....this always gets me emotional....but it means so much to
our family
