Krista . . .

I'd recommend Garden of Life vitamins . . . You have to take a lot more because they're formulated for your body to recognize them as food . . .

Prices keep changing among the major companies . .. Do a websearch to compare prices. . . Some that I've used are www.smartbomb.com, www.appleadayandbeyond.com, www.vitacost.com

Watch our for those that contain silicone dioxide if you're sensitive to it. . . I've tried writing to them. . . maybe more of us need to write.

Rogene

Don't you just hate that when you go to the dr's!! I know, it

happened to me the other day when I was at the dr's. I've always been

petite and I hate getting weighed at the dr's. I swear last time the

nurse looked at me and said " You need to start eating. " Then she

laughed! She must've thought that I was starving myself. Before I got

sick, I would eat whatever I wanted and a lot of it but couldn't gain

any extra weight. I could eat junk food all day and still not gain a

pound!

I have a GI doctor too. I was diagnosed with IBS so when I have a

flare and can't eat anything it's completely frustrating! Even now

I'm worried that my eating habits haven't been that good because I

wasn't feeling well. Tomorrow I'll make up for it! Don't you hate

that people would just assume that you were anorexic? I could never

gain any extra weight. I'm also only 5'2 too. It just makes me mad

because if someone were overweight I wouldn't try to judge them.

People have always said to me " You're too skinny " or " You need to eat

more. " I would just smile and be thinking in my head " I eat all of

the time so leave me alone! "

Stephie,

The good news is that IBS should be a thing of the past once your body has a chance to detox and do it's repair work.

Think of your new eating plan as a lifetime program . . . You're not likely to notice the difference (unless it getting rid of sugar) on a daily basis.

Think of it as bringing in quality building materials for your (body) remodeling project.

Rogene

Hi Stephie,

I was diagnosed with IBS too which means that docs really don't know

what's wrong with your digestion system or how to treat it. Yes,

it's irritable bowel and the cause is candida, mold, fungus or

parasites. Most western docs don't believe in candida though and so

that's why so many people suffer without cure.

Make sure you're staying away from sugar completely and possibly

dairy and wheat. Often those with candida overgrowth in the gut also

have a gluten/wheat sensitivity and are lactose intolerant. You can

be tested or keep a food diary to watch for symptoms. It's rough but

with proper diet the IBS symptoms lessen. When I cheat, I pay for

it! Love, PH

Rogene- I just bought some of the caprylic acid. So, hopefully that

will start to help with any fungus problems I may have.

healthy fats....avocados, nuts, healthy oils, etc.

Steph- Me too! Every time I go to the doctor's office, I get the same

thing from the nurses!!! I used to eat whatever I wanted and I would

not gain a pound! Okay, that is still the case, but now I really watch

what I put in my mouth. I weigh the exact same thing as I did in high

school! Not funny if you ask me!

Amazing, it's the same way with me. I was talking to this nurse one

time about how frustrated I am that people ALWAYS make comments to me.

And, she said to me " I think that is really rude of people, it's like

telling someone right to their face " you are overweight, you need to

stop eating so much. " " Really, that's how it feels to me! It hurts my

feelings because there is nothing I can do about it, we're built how

we're built, period.

Also, I have IBS BAD! Have you tried ginger or peppermint for your

IBS? That seems to help mine a lot. It used to be that I couldn't even

go out to eat, I'd get the big D. Now, I take a peppermint and ginger

everyday and it really helps. Although lately, everything seems to be

going through me again. Perhaps, it is the fungal issues?

I sure hope so. I've had it for about 3 years now.

Tonight I feel like I have a lot of enery so I'm actually glad that I

did the foot bath yesterday. I just hope that next week I don't have

such a bad reaction to it.

I weigh the same as I did in high school...and I thought I was the

only one! I try to eat a lot of fruit and veggies now and shop at

Whole Foods. I think tomorrow will be the ultimate test for me!

No I haven't tried any of those but thanks for the tip. Which one

works better for you? It may be a fungal issue. I'm on diflucan that

my dr prescribed me which is an anti-fungal. Are you taking anything

for the fungas? That could be what's causing yours aches and pains.

That's a major symptom of candida. When the implants were removed, it

may have stir up what toxins/fungus that was in your body.

Steph- I take one peppermint and one ginger vitamin a day. Then, if my

tummy gets upset, I drink peppermint tea which helps to calm it down.

I keep a box of peppermint tea at work, just in case. Celestial

Seasonings makes a special tummy tea which is peppermint.

Yeah, I just purchased some caprylic acid, which the group recommends

too for the fungal issues. So, I'm going to start on that to address

the fungal issues. Wouldn't surprise me a bit if that was my problem.

Also, did you know one of my salines ruptured in the spring? That's

when all of my problems began, I'm sure I am loaded with crap from the

rupture.

Hi Krist and Stephie,

I ALWAYS got the comments too, so much that I think it made me overly

aware/self-conscious of my body. In hindsight, they were

compliments, but I hated that whenever I'd meet someone they'd

comment and I didn't take it positive. Like you said, saying " Oh my

gosh you're soooo tiny! " when you first meet someone is like

saying, " Oh my gosh you're sooo huge! " I think that's part of the

reason I got implants...not the whole reason but it definitely

contributed.

Krista, Peppermint is great for IBS if it's peppermint oil or tea.

If it's the candy, don't do it because the sugar will feed the

fungus. - PH

PH- Yep, I get the SAME comments when I meet someone new. Of course,

going with a petite/small body comes NO BOOBS, which is the reason I'm

sure all three of us got the implants. I wanted to feel more like a

woman, instead of a little girl. But, I don't care anymore! My hubby

loves me and that's all that matters.

Yes, it is the peppermint oil vitamin that I take, and the peppermint

tea. No sugar for me!

Krista,

Yeah, I understand COMPLETELY! I used to get comments from women

like " I want your body from the chest down. " ...is that a back-handed

compliment or what? Who would say that??!! Guys would often comment

on my a** but never the rest of me and as a result I became even more

self-conscious. It's sad that women are made to feel like parts

instead of a whole person.

I don't care that I'm flat anymore. I like my itty bitties! I just

want to feel well. Maybe that's my lesson in all this...that I was

perfect the way God made me.

My husband loves me no matter what. He even encouraged me not to get

implants but I was stubborn. We both enjoyed them plenty but they

were pretty fake looking...hard to make them look natural on a little

girl's body! - PH

I love Whole Foods Granola type cereals . . . Two of my favorites have coconut and vanilla in the name. . . Yummy whole grains! If you have a Trader Joe's nearby, they have wonderful cream cheese made from goats milk. They have a lot of wonderful juices . . . One favorite is Organic 365 Apple juice! Rogene

Stephie,Dr. Rubin, who wrote The Maker's Diet, developed the Garden of Life line of vitamins. . . I haven't tried all of their products, but all the ones I've used - ASIDE FROM FUCOTHIN - are excellent. Do shop carefully online. . . You can save up to 40% off retail (i.e. Whole Food) prices.Again . . . know whether or not you are sensitive to silicone dioxide before ordering them. Rogene
